Pantene Moisture Renewal Shampoo Review

Let me start off by saying my hair is almost down to my waist and highlighted blonde. I wash my hair around 3 times a week and blow dry and straighten every time I wash it. I hadn't used Pantene in years as it always made my hair feel heavy and greasy, so I wasn't going in with amazing expectations. I was really happy and surprised with this product and felt that my hair was a lot softer and easier to brush through when wet. I usually have to use oil or leave in product to tackle the knots! So for me this is a major plus. I got three uses out of the sample size and I found that each time I used it my hair felt softer and easier to manage. I was expecting my hair to be greasy after a couple of days but I felt it actually felt cleaner for longer. Pleasantly surprised with this new product and I would use it again.

For years I have used Lush Godvia Shampoo & Conditioner bars as I just love the feel of my hair without the chemical treatments! However I thought I'd be brave and try the Pantene Pro-V samples as an alternative as I'm going travelling soon and I'm not sure the USA would appreciate my all natural hair products! The first thing that struck me about Pro-V was the smell - it was so divine I couldn't stop smelling it! I used the shampoo and conditioner and it all went as per normal. I definitely wouldn't use these products daily as it would be too much for my hair to handle. After using Pro-V on Saturday I didn't wash my hair again until Wednesday morning - pretty good going! I will take Pro-V with me on my travels and see how it fairs in the US winter :)

First things first, I've had issues with Pantene agrocating my dandruff. However, something must have changed in the formula because after using the shampoo I found that my dandruff actually decreased, and had no increased dandruff over the time I used the shampoo and conditioner. I noticed the shampoo fluffed up really well, so you only need to use a really small amount. The shampoo was also great because it didn't strip down your hair and make it straw-like, like so many shampoos do. I found my hair to remain smooth after the shampoo, found it to be moisturised. The consitioner furthered this. Again, only needed to use a very small amount because hair wasn't completely dried out by the shampoo like many shampoos do. The conditioner made my hair really silky soft. The shampoo and conditioner were easy to wash out, and didn't require excessive rubbing to try and get out. I found the shampoo and conditioner didn't weigh down my hair; my hair felt light and smelt great. Since you only need to use very small amounts, the shampoo and conditioner would last a long time so they're very cost effective.

I found the Pantene Pro-V Daily Moisture Renewal Shampoo and Conditioner very good for me. It does mimic the natural moisture layers of my hair. It has kept my hair smooth looking and nourished. My hair up in a ponytail actually looks sleek and sits well rather than having a messy just woke up and put it in a ponytail type of look. After trialing the product and had to get both my children ready for school and put my hair up my hair looked smooth, refreshed and was manageable.

The product is of a creamy consistency when you apply the shampoo you only need a small amount because it lathers quite well, especially on my hair that is long. I left it on for about 1-2 minutes to really let it absorb and lock in the moisture, which it did!

The conditioner left my hair soft, shiny and smelling really nice as well.

Compared with other shampoo/conditioner that I have used I will buy the full product most definitely especially when I want to style my hair up or down and need that nourishing and sleek style.

The first thing my partner said when I hoped out of the shower was mm your hair smells good! , I liked this product , being on a bit of a tight budget I normally buy the cheapest shampoo at the time, I had noticed my hair was quite oily at the moment and it seemd to be almost every day, after trying this shampoo the next morning my hair felt a lot softer and nicer than it had in a while. combined with the conditioner it made my hair nice and shiny. I think I would definitely buy this product in the store and use it again. The packaging didn't seem particularly eye catching to me but I think the product speaks for its self.

I had been looking for a product to moisturise my hair as it is grey, I was growing it longer than my normal style and it had become quite dry. I have used the Pantene Pro-V Daily Moisture Renewal shampoo and conditioner regularly over the last week and noticed immediately that my hair was looking less brittle and dry and that it felt softer and silkier. It is much more manageable and I am very pleased that the product did renew moisture in my hair and would be happy to recommend it to others.

I have shoulder length thick slightly wavy hair that has a tendency to frizz after washing and it tends to dry out when using my Hot Irons. I was pleasantly surprised by the Panetene Pro-V Daily Renewal Shampoo and Conditioner, it left my hair feeling soft, silky, non-frizzy and managable. And as an added bonus my hair smelled great. The shampoo lathered up well and rinsed out easily. The conditioner was nice and thick, my hair felt less dry at the ends. I would definiately use this shampoo and conditioner again and will be looking for it next time at the supermarket.
