Tips: Follow up by using the conditioner..I don’t even have to use a brush after using this product
I've been battling for ages to find a really good shampoo for very oily hair, so I popped into my nearest Shampoo 'n Things and had a chat to the ladies there and one of them suggested De Lorenzo Control Shampoo for fine, limp, oily and coloured hair.
The shampoo is packaged in a pale green cylindrical bottle with a push-in / pop up lid and has a lime scent, described as "Lime Sugar Spritz" on the bottle. The splurb on both sides of the bottle says "It's enriched with Australian Organic Extracts and Ceramides to cleanse oily roots, provide colour protection and age repair.
A mild cleanser that fights colour fade and controls excess oil, leaving hair and scalp freshly clean and revitalised."
It lathers up nicely and does leave my hair feeling clean, without feeling squeaky and stripped. At $29.90 for a 275ml bottle, it is quite pricey but isn't as bad as some others that I've tried in the past.
I'm not 100% sold on this shampoo but it's definitely gentle and can be used daily and is sitting at the top of my 'best oily hair shampoo list' at the moment and I may buy another bottle to tide me over while I continue my search for other oily hair shampoos.
Tips: If your hair is really oily, wash twice, using a 10c amount of shampoo each time and lathering it up in your hands first, before applying it to your hair.
