essano Argan Oil Hair Recovery Serum Review

I use an argan oil through my hair after every wash religiously, so I've tried quite a few. I picked up the Essano Argan Oil Hair Recovery Serum on sale, and thought I'd give it a go since I like the Essano brand and it is also made in NZ. The one I brought was 50ml in size, and the actual oil is quite runny, so you need to get it through your hair and ends fairly quickly or it seems to go everywhere.  I'm not going to say it's a great argan oil, it's alright but I really didn't find it overly great. It left my hair soft and with some shine but there are much better options out there. I used half the bottle before going back to another of my favourite argan oils because I just didn't feel it was doing anything spectacular for my hair. Also I couldn't stand the smell of the product, it seems to be highly frangranced and wasn't a smell I particularly liked. I still love alot of Essano products, however I can't recommend their argan oil as being anything special.

The Essano Argan Oil Hair Recovery Serum is the only one I use for my hair, I love it! My hair gets very knotty and it is super long so after every time I wash my hair I squirt some on my hands and rub it into my hair before blow drying. I find it really helps my hair stays soft and easy to brush. I also use it whenever I'm straightening or curling my hair, it's great at protecting it from the heat. You only need one squirt at a time so I find it lasts awhile and it is a great price like the rest of the Essano range. I really love the smell of it, it's not overpowering and leaves my hair smelling fresh.

I have dry, coloured hair so when I saw this at New World I just had to buy it. It comes in a small brown bottle with a great pump which dispensers the perfect amount.

It is quite a runny consistency which I like and it smells so beautiful. I like to apply on towel dried hair, I use 2-3 pumps as my hair is quite long then rub my hands together and smother it all over my hair. When I first used it I though uh oh I have used too much but once I have blow dried my hair OMG it is super soft! As in I have never felt it like that before.

I adore how this makes my hair feel and look, shiny, soft and frizz free. It is one of the best serums I have used. I paid $11 on special which is fantastic for such an amazing product.

I am in love and will purchase over and over. Highly recommend. My favourite Essano product by far. Love!

Other than smelling nice I did not find this product actually worked. I ran out of another product and picked this up on the go. Definitely did not make any difference to my hair even with variation to the amount used. I would not use this product again.

My hair overall is in pretty good condition but can always do with a helping hand around the ends as it is quite long these days. I find a couple of pumps of this product massaged through the ends after washing not only helps with combing out the tangles but leaves my hair feeling super soft and helps reduce the frizzy’s once it dries.

Packaging, as with all the Essano products is attractive, I find two pumps more than enough which makes it cost effective as well. Definitely has been a staple purchase for quite some time now. I've recommended it to a couple of friends who also have it on repeat purchase so it obviously suits different types of hair.

I find it mostly controls any frizz but it’s quite oily and I feel greasy after using it, like I want to wash my hair! Doesn’t smell like much and you need to use quite a lot to get rid of the frizz but then it’s super oily!

OMG this stuff is amazing! it saved my hair from my own punishment! i bleached my hair way too many time and it was so dry, i did alot of googling and found this product (in my budget) so figured it was worth a shot! the fist time using this it didn't feel like it did much, but i think thats because my hair was so so very dry and damaged, i used it a few days in a row and it just started to give my hair back a little life, where it wasn't like straw anymore. this stuff saved me from having to cut it all off. ive also used it to help tame my fly-aways, works wonders on those little buggers! i have brought multiple bottles of it now, its well worth it.

I enjoyed this hair oil a lot, had a nice not too strong fragrance and made my dry ends silky to touch. It’s tricky to use the right amount sometimes as I might feel I need a little more, but then I end up with really oily hair, so whenever you feel like you need more: No, you don’t really! :D Apart from this it’s not different than any other silicone based hair oil, it does the same thing, nothing more, but also nothing less. :)
