essano Argan Oil Hair Recovery Serum Review

I've been really conflicted in how I've felt about this product.

On one hand, rubbing this product into the ends of my hair while wet can result in it looking great for the next day or two. It is the first product where I've felt like my hair has looked less dried and damaged after using it.

Yet on the other hand, my hair hasn't felt as soft and healthy as it has with some of the other products I've used.

So I have been using both to try and get the best effect. But I would still like to find one product that achieves both. But as one product, I think this product has been the most effective one I have found so far.

As a product, the serum is very similar to an oil, so when applying to the hair, you only need a couple of drops, otherwise the hair can feel a little oily.

For context, I use this product on bleached damaged hair.

My hair overall is in pretty good condition but can always do with a helping hand around the ends as it is quite long these days. I find a couple of pumps of this product massaged through the ends after washing not only helps with combing out the tangles but leaves my hair feeling super soft and helps reduce the frizzy’s once it dries.

Packaging, as with all the Essano products is attractive, I find two pumps more than enough which makes it cost effective as well. Definitely has been a staple purchase for quite some time now. I've recommended it to a couple of friends who also have it on repeat purchase so it obviously suits different types of hair.

I'm currently on my second bottle of this. I love the smell and like leaves my hair soft and manageable. It doesn't weigh down my fine hair. Great price for a great product.

I permed my hair after bleaching the ends from black to brown, so my ends are very tempermental and I have to give them extra care otherwise they start splitting like crazy. I usually go for water based hair serums as a previous argan oil I tried make it look like I hadn't washed my hair in a decade, so I'm a little apprehensive of hair oils.

This argan oil is a lot less oily feeling than the other oils I've tried, and doesnt weigh my hair down as much. It definitely adds a nice level of shine and makes my hair look healthier. I haven't noticed a huge improvement in my split ends but overall it does seem to be less dry and looks a lot more nourished. I blow dry my hair to about 80% then apply this, coming it through the ends with my fingers. When my hair completely air dries I'm left with nice bouncy waves and less tangles.

Have been using this for about a month now as was looking for an alternative to Moroccan oil, and am enjoying it as a midrange price hair oil. It’s easy to use pump and watery formula is easy to apply. I prefer it on dry hair to wet as I found it wasn’t good if brushed through and best on tips only. Overall would purchase again but no Moroccan oil.

My hair isn't thick and this oil makes it to greasy as a hair oil alone. But in summer I found its great for after the beach. Usually my hair gets dry and straw like but if I use this hair oil while my hair is wet my hair dries silky and smooth. It also smells great, like clean washing.

I absolutely love this product, I have issues with how dry and frizzy my hair is from bleaching / over dyeing my hair and struggle to find something that tames and nourish my hair without leaving it feeling dead and heavy , and this works great for me , after showering and washing my hair I blow dry and straighten as I like it to be styled and simply pump one pump into the palm of my hand and apply to the very ends of my hair where needed ! It smells wonderfull to and makes my hair silky smooth without weighing it down xx

I enjoyed this hair oil a lot, had a nice not too strong fragrance and made my dry ends silky to touch. It’s tricky to use the right amount sometimes as I might feel I need a little more, but then I end up with really oily hair, so whenever you feel like you need more: No, you don’t really! :D Apart from this it’s not different than any other silicone based hair oil, it does the same thing, nothing more, but also nothing less. :)
