I found the conditioner to be very nourishing, smells nice and paired with the blonde tone shampoo it really helps with the brassy tones in my hair and keeping the ashy tone I like. A similar consistency to most other conditioners I've used in the past. The price point is very affordable and I would definitely recommend to others.

Tips: Work in to the ends of your hair and leave to sink in for a few minutes before rinsing thoroughly.
I used this conditioner following the Tone-Correcting Shampoo and was pleased with the results. You don't need much and the formula is easily worked through the hair from root to tip and smells good - no 'chemically' smell like some other brands. Washing the product out was easy and there was no greasy leftover feel, which is a god sent for someone with fine hair that easily gets/feels dirty. Upon drying my hair was easily styled following its used - I curled and straightening as normal with no crispy ends!
I'm not really sure of its tone-correcting abilities as I always feel that this is really the work of the shampoo, but I definitely found the product to be a great follow up to the Tone-Correcting Shampoo, the two seemed to compliment one another nicely.
One thing I'm not a massive fan of, however, is the bottle - I would have much preferred to see a locakable pump used (like the shampoo) to avoid the dreaded 'naked shake' of the bottle when it's running low and you're trying to get that last little bit to come down so you can squeeze it out. That said, though, it's a minor and certainly wouldn't stop me using it again. Nice one Essano!
Tips: Leave bottle upside down when getting low so you can easily get the remaining out.
I used this together with the Essano blonde purple shampoo, it had a more gentle fragrance than the shampoo which was nice and was quite moisturising, but not that heavy. However i found that using the pair together was a bit rich for my fine blonde hair. It did leave my hair shiny and nice and soft , but i was having to wash my hair daily when i used these products and thats not ideal.
This conditioner has less of a scent than the matching shampoo, it's a light floral scent. It is very moisturising and a little goes a long way. The first time I used it I spent ages trying to wash it all out. I would recommend using no more than a $2 coin sized amount. My hair is soft and silky and no signs of brassiness when using this and the matching shampoo. I love that its gentle enough to use every wash and keeps your hair in good condition
Tips: Don't use too much, concentrate on the ends of your hair and rinse well
After being a long time user of purple toning products I have been through my fair share of purple shampoos but i have never really tried the conditioners. I always though it was enough to just use the shampoo but after using this product for the last few weeks I think it is definitely worth a try!
I have very fine, chemically damaged hair and was very excited to learn that I had been invited to trial the essano purple toning products. The idea that they are all natural and available at the supermarket really got my attention. I prepped my hair by staying away from my usual toning products for the few weeks leading up to it and had a sufficient amount of brassy tones going on up there.
The bottle is gorgeous - it is purple and silver with an amazing feel. It looks and feels expensive. It has a flip/clip push open top. The smell is insanely good - just like the shampoo it smells like roses and sherbet. It is lilac tinted and the texture is thick and luxurious feeling- after applying it I had no drips. I left it in for 2 minutes after washing with their shampoo and then rinsed.
My hair instantly felt healthier and softer. After dryer (with a hair dryer) and running my straighteners through it I was left with smooth, silky, brass free strands that smelt amazing!.
I was worried that with this brand I would have trouble with the product being to heavy for my thin hair but it worked an absolute treat!
i will be repurchasing this once it runs out - along with its matching shampoo.
I raved on about the story of my bleached blonde hair in my shampoo review so won't repeat it here other than to say the condition of my hair is a extremely damaged and porous with a LOT of daily breakage. Again, the conditioner in this range smells amazing. It is lightly pigmented, more a lilac colour which is great after the intensity of the shampoo. The product goes on well and I didn't hold back on my mid lengths and ends. I found it easy to comb through and the comb was not full of hair which has become my norm, very pleased about that! My hair was soft on drying, I can't really comment on the smoothing because my hair is never smooth on drying these days; it requires a lot of product and light straightening to get it half way decent. In saying this it was just as smooth as the in salon products I have recently been using. I would recommend this conditioner to others and will continue to use it.
Tips: Use a good amount on mid lengths and ends for extra nourishment.
Just like the shampoo this product is great for the price, and also great to find at the supermarket where the choice is limited for blonde shampoos. I find this product to be very moisturising and helps make the shampoo not seem too harsh on the hair. I used this a good few times, after my hair was freshly dyed and was showing brassy tones. This helped well. I’ll buy this again when I’m finished as my normal blonde shampoo is over $20 just for the shampoo
Tips: Leave on a bit longer to really treat the hair whereas don’t leave the shampoo on too long
I really enjoyed using this product. I used the Conditioner after using the Essano Blonde Tone-Correcting Purple Shampoo for best results. The packaging is clean and clear with a easy to read text. A small amount of conditioner went a long way. I have below shoulder length hair and needed about a walnut size amount. Once washed out my hair felt soft and smooth. Definitely from using both the Essano Blonde Tone-Correcting Purple Shampoo and Conditioner I have noticed that my highlighted hair is less brassy and more golden looking. I will continue to use these 2 products to help maintain my colour.
Light purple in colour with a thick consistency. Great conditioner makes the hair soft without over doing it and becoming greasy. Such a good price and easy to grab in the supermarket rather than going to a salon and paying at least $20 a bottle
I love the fact that this product comes in recyclable packaging and there are no nasties ( parabens, sulphates etc). No animals are used in testing of this product so that is a definite plus for me and it is made in NZ. It isn't an overly fragrant product but has a pleasant scent. I found I had to use a LOT of product to get a feeling of nourishment and creaminess on my thrice weekly washed hair. I didn't find any noticeable difference to my blonde highlights at all or find my hair shinier and softer. Based on my findings, I probably wouldn't buy this conditioner again.
Tips: You do need to use a lot of this product to feel like it is conditioning your hair
