Being a blonde I was super excited to trial this shampoo and conditioner duo, I have tried many purple conditioners and am yet to find one that does as good a job as this Essano conditioner. I love the price - point, very well priced for a purple conditioner. I love the packaging and love that it is 100 % pre - used recyclable material. This conditioner does a great job, a little goes a long way, easy to squeeze out and goes on smoothly, it doesn't stain my hair, or leave a purple tint on my hair like some others have. Helps reduce brassy tones well! Will be a repurchase!

Defiantly a yay from me. My only concern is my local supermarket doesn’t always have this available so I haven’t been able to regularly use it :(
Left my hair feeling moisturised and replenished and it defiantly works to neutralise those brassy tones. Good smell and a little goes a long way!
I like this conditioner as it is very mild, and pretty much impossible to over tone no matter how long you leave it in. Only issue is the smell is pretty strong but other than that, great supermarket product!
Used this during lock down for the first time when options were limited. Honestly, for a supermarket option it was not bad. Of course there are a lot better options out there on the market and most do have a higher price tag. But for someone on a budget or on a holiday and forgot their purple shampoo this is a great option to get by
I got this with the shampoo and have been using them together.
The plastic brown bottle with purple labelling is attractive. The bottle has a flip top that is easy to use and makes the product accessible without pouring out too much product.
The product is a thick purple cream and glides nicely over my hair and absorbs well. It hydrates my hair as per the product claim, and my hair is soft after using it. It helps the shampoo neutralise the brassy tones which is great.
As I also mentioned in my review for the matching shampoo, it is on a par with other purple conditioners, but definitely has a more attractive scent and is reasonably priced.
Definitely worth a try and I do recommend it for white or blonde hair.
Tips: Use this conditioner every time you wash with the matching shampoo.
Ok product - good supermarket brand though if you want to restore condition to your hair you are better with a salon product but this does restore some moisture and tones down the yellow a shade.
Tips: Apply to towel dried hair from the ends up and leave for a good 3 minutes to let the product fully activate.
I really enjoyed using this product. I used the Conditioner after using the Essano Blonde Tone-Correcting Purple Shampoo for best results. The packaging is clean and clear with a easy to read text. A small amount of conditioner went a long way. I have below shoulder length hair and needed about a walnut size amount. Once washed out my hair felt soft and smooth. Definitely from using both the Essano Blonde Tone-Correcting Purple Shampoo and Conditioner I have noticed that my highlighted hair is less brassy and more golden looking. I will continue to use these 2 products to help maintain my colour.
Definitely a win for me! Found it to be nice and nourishing on my hair, always came out soft and gentle after each use.
The colour of the conditioner itself is a very pale purple so I'd assume that most of the colour correction would come from the shampoo?- which I havent got. However i use this with a normal shampoo and find that even this fades my brassy tones quite nicely!
I definitely wish that it came with a pump like the shampoo seems to, but it's easy enough to use as it is. I like that on the bottle is has in huge writing conditioner so there's less of a chance to confuse the 2!
My bleach blonde hair tends to stray into going from a nice blonde to super yellow very easily so I wanted a purple conditioner that works well and is cruelty-free, and this delivers. The conditioner comes in a black PET bottle with purple labelling. I like that the packaging is made from recycled plastic. The lid has a very narrow hole for dispensing product, which is frustrating when trying to squeeze out the conditioner, as it takes way too long to get a decent sized amount out; I'd prefer if this was a pump bottle. The conditioner is a very potent purple in colour (a lot darker than other purple conditioners I've used) and it has a pleasant scent. The scent is hard to describe but it doesn't have an overwhelming fumey scent like a lot of purple shampoo and conditioners do. I leave this on for about three minutes and after every use, my hair has no more yellow tones, it's noticeably brighter and blonder, and this doesn't dry my hair out! I also have never found this to stick and stain my hair purple. This works so well, that I've had friends ask me if I've recently re-bleached my hair and it was just this. This isn't the most effective purple conditioner I've tried, but it's affordable and it works really well. It goes above and beyond for a supermarket product and I'd happily continue using it. This truly is comparable to salon products, and while this might not be as potent as other purple conditioners such as Fanola and Fudge, this works really well and is easy to use for day to day use.
Light purple in colour with a thick consistency. Great conditioner makes the hair soft without over doing it and becoming greasy. Such a good price and easy to grab in the supermarket rather than going to a salon and paying at least $20 a bottle
