This is a good product available from the supermarket at a great price. This shampoo lathers up nicely and it performs well. I do alternate with a more expensive purple shampoo but it does work well and helps to make my more expensive shampoo last longer. Would recommend this shampoo.

Tips: If you have a lot of toning required massage into dry hair and leave for a few minutes before wetting your hair and washing.
I’ve been switching between using this and the blonde shampoo by L’Oréal on my brunette hair with blonde ends.
It’s definitely a blond that needs a purple shampoo and my shampoos have definitely been keeping the brass away. I prefer this to the L’Oréal one. It’s so gentle on my hair whilst still being a great shampoo and doing what it says it will. It’s keeping my hair blonde on the ends and is still been non drying on the ends or rest of my hair. It’s not stripped it but really brings out the ash dye.
I was using revlon blondage but it was so expensive vs this. This is a decent size and so nice to use also. One thing I’m not totally sold on is the smell but to be honest it’s not horrible but it could be better.
I like this range they seem to have their priorities in order with regards to how gentle their shampoos are and also that they don’t contain parabens etc. I think for the price it’s an excellent blonde shampoo.
I have used this in between my more expensive salon shampoo. I find the purple strong. It stains any dry patches on my hands. It lathers well and I love that it is at the supermarket and a gentle product. I will keep buying this to supplement my other shampoo.
This shampoo is very purple. But don't let that put you off. My hair which is grey and bleached ( thanks lockdown). I use it combined with the conditioner and it looks great. My scalp is also sensitive and no itching after using this.
Tips: Hold the bottle firmly, the pump on mine is a little stiff
Tried this a few times on blonde coloured hair and it did a bad job of actually cleaning my hair. Even when use twice it left my hair feeling straw like and it just didn't look or feel clean. It worked ok for tone correction though.
I have used this while I was blonde, but I was not that happy with it. My hair was always so tough, like a rope. And never foamed at all.
Tips: Not worth the money
Used this during lock down for the first time when options were limited. Honestly, for a supermarket option it was not bad. Of course there are a lot better options out there on the market and most do have a higher price tag. But for someone on a budget or on a holiday and forgot their purple shampoo this is a great option to get by
This is another good product from Essano.
I have white hair that is prone to yellowing and have tried most purple shampoos on the market.
This one comes in a cute dark pump bottle with a pump top. the pump top doesn't work on mine which is annoying.
The product is literally purple shampoo. It lathers up well on my hair and my hair feels clean and soft afterwards.
The smell is lovely, kind of salon-y but fresh and sweet.
So the product is great, it neutralizes yellowing, and softens my hair, which is what I want. It's probably on a par with all of the other purple shampoos I've tried, but smells better than any other, and is well priced. Definitely worth buying for white hair. My clients at work also use it and it dulls the white in their dark hair. I do recommend it.
Tips: Use every 3 to 4 days with the matching conditioner.
Received both the shampoo and conditioner of this range in a beauty box. I dye my already blonde hair lighter once every two months or so, so I’m always after a good purple shampoo and conditioner. Works really well to neutralise brassiness, and just for a laugh I left it in for longer, about 5 minutes. I had previously done this accidentally with a blue shampoo/conditioner and was surprised to find it had dyed my hair blue. It washed out after a few days, but I wanted to test if this Essano range would do something similar. It did not. My hair was silver in places, but I loved the result. The shampoo is going to last longer as it lathers up really well, and you don’t need a lot to get a great lather. In addition, my hair was soft and silky, full of moisture, shiny, and not weighed down. At $11 a bottle I would definitely keep buying!
The best purple shampoo I’ve tried! As good as, if not better than fudge, and for a great price from the supermarket.
Tips: I alternate with a normal shampoo or my hair does end up with a purple tint.
