essano Intense Hydration Conditioner

I managed to score this and the shampoo in the beauty vault, so was a good chance to try it as I don't often use non salon brand shampoo.

First things first, they should put the label the other way around as it needs to be stored on it's head as the consistency is really thick and even with a full bottle needs to be shaken/knocked to get product out. The rich, creamy consistency works for me though as my hair feels really moisturised and treated after use. I do notice when rinsing I still feel a residue on my back which makes me think it's a silicone type product making my hair feel softer and smoother as opposed to active ingredients helping this. But remember, it's a drugstore brand so won't move mountains!

It works, and goes well with the shampoo. I just don't think i'd use it long term as I don't know if it would 'undo' all the effects of my salon quality products.

Lovely thick conditioner, which I love, and it quickly detangled my hair and left it feeling soft and strong. The only issue I had with it was the fragrance - at first I liked it, then I realised it smelt soapy and a bit sickly. And the fragrance does linger! Such a shame as I love a well-fragranced product but unfortunately this one just clashed with my senses. A good upper range supermarket product though, and nice and thick with lots of substance.

It comes in a gorgeous pink bottle which I love. But it has a silly lid which makes it so hard to get the conditioner out so I have to unscrew it and bang it against my hand which is quite annoying.

The conditioner itself smells amazing and it is sooooo thick, almost like a mask. I have really long hair and feel like I have to use a lot. Once applied I leave it on for a few minutes then rinse out. My hair is left feeling clean and smells great but once it is dry for some reason it is really frizzy especially on top!

I so wanted to love this as I love Essano but alas it was just not for me so I would not purchase again.

My hair gets dry because I straighten my hair weekly. I saw this out on my weekly shop and decided to buy it along with the shampoo. Packaging is pink and brightly coloured easy to notice amongst my other products. Consistency of this conditioner is smooth creamy smells like a floral bouquet . After use my hair feels fresh and clean . My hair did feel hydrated after use. Overall I would use it again.

I love Essano, but unfortunately I didn't love this conditioner. It smells lovely, but I found that it left my hair quite oily. Normally I wash my hair every second day, but I found myself washing it the very next day after having used this conditioner

My hair is dry long and thin. Paired with the shampoo, I wanted this conditioner to work on my hair as I love so many of essanos products. I used this conditioner daily for about a week after using the essano argan oil shampoo. I found it made my hair dull, greasy and lifeless. Although the conditioner is really thick and creamy it did not make my hair shine or feel.soft and clean.

I also found the bottle really difficult to open while in the shower and hard to get the product out - the bottle is not a soft plastic, it was quite stiff and as the conditioner is quite thick it made it hard to squeeze the product out. The things I did like were the scent and the product size. Overall this didnt work for my hair type and I felt it was quite pricey also.

If i remember correctly the conditioner itself was good, all i really remember is standing in the shower smashing a bottle onto my hands trying to get the product to come out. The conditioner is thick, and the plastic bottle is hard... i think they should make this into a pump bottle instead.

I found this product after trying their oils their oil was great ! Made my hair feel extremely soft and helped with frizz (I have major issues with frizz) so I decided I would try this hoping it could help my hair without having to use oil everyday , but It did not work ! It made my hair so oily at the tops to mid length and so dead and dull and still very frizzy at the bottom , it practically drained my hair of any life it has , (I have natural hair at top to mid lengths , -'d died blonde at bottom , ombré ) so not to sure it it's just my hair or what , ! But it worked wonders on my mothers hair (completely natural hair )
