I love the bright green bottles and the fresh coconut smell the first time I always leave my conditioner in for ages while I’m in the shower.
My hair felt silky after the first couple of times but then I gave up on it and passed it on to the kids.
It is a really good price on the upside
Garnier's new conditioner claims to give healthier stronger hair, cleanse and hydrate ends and not weigh the hair down. So did it meet its claims?
Starting from the presentation if the bottle. The conditioner highlights what it aims to achieve and presents itself as eco-friendly. It is a standard conditioner bottle and fairly robust plastic.
The conditioner inside is about the usual consistancy and smells fruity rather than coconut scented which suggests some not so natural fragrance is present.
The conditioner doesn't do a lot for the dry ends, although other than that my hair feels clean and healthy.
All in all, I would use a hair oil or serum with this product, but I like that it's a pro recycling branded product.
Tips: Use a serum or hair oil for ends.
The scent of this is basically the same as the shampoo, not that strong which I don't know how I feel because usually I like quite a strong scented hair products as I like the smell to last and linger for a bit. The conditioner itself is a cream consistency, like usual, but I think it had little flakes of something (maybe coconut) mixed in? I don't think it really did much and overall just a stock standard conditioner that I would use again but wouldn't go out of my way to buy
thanks to beauty review for sending me this product. in the 10 day trial time, i have used it twice. i was so excited to try this because i recently went to the hairdresser and she said i have oily roots. so this product was made for me LoL.
first off, garner fructis always delivers a lovely botanical fragrance. paraben free, silicone free...GREAT (now they just need to get rid of the sulphate). did it do what it says...maybe. i say maybe because all conditioners are designed to moisture and soften your hair...aren't they?
the conditioner was used everytime the coconut water shampoo was used. honestly...i haven't found it to be overly moisturising...but i guess seeing as i have oily roots i don't need more moisture hahaha. its just that my hair seems a bit 'fluffier' than usual...so i had to keep my hair tied up or straighten it.
i will end by saying i will continue to use this conditioner...to continue trial it, as 10 days just wasn't enough time
I picked this up in my weekly shopping for a couple of dollars. My hair is thick and frizzy . My hair is hard to manage . I’m always on the hunt for a hair conditioner that softens my hair and makes it feel smooth.
This bottle comes in a bright green bottle . Has the garnier labelling . The consistency is fluid like running hand soap . It has a coconut scent .
Upon application I wet my hair . Lather this through. During that time my hair feels soft . Afterwards my hair feels soft . Still wild and big but feels clean .
Overall I think this is reasonably priced . I can see myself using this again in the near future.
This milky white conditioner doesn’t have much of a scent.. or maybe because it’s so subtle that I couldn’t smell it? The consistency felt nice and creamy... It’s easy to apply and massage onto your hair. Upon rinsing, I already felt the silky smoothness of my hair.
After drying my hair.. i can say wow! My hair not only looked nice and glossy... It really felt soft and silky smooth... I couldn’t stop running my fingers through it again and again. It felt as if my hair has finally regained its natural shine again. It’s a lovely conditioner...
The day after.. it didn’t feel as silky as it initially felt. but my hair still felt soft and healthy. My hair near the scalp also felt nice and happy.
I totally recommend using this conditioner together with it’s shampoo pair.
Didn’t rate it higher as i hoped that silkiness feel would have remained longer. I will try leaving it on for longer next time and see.
overall a simple/basic conditioner here. was disapointed this didnt have the same great smell as the conditioner - it didn't leave my hair with any fragrance. I expected maybe a coconut smell from the name of the product. The conditioner itself performed as it should leaving my hair shiny but nothing special than what I would otherwise use (Loreal elvive) I like the fact this has no parabens and chemicals though and seems more natural than what I would normally use
Tips: Don't use on your roots if you have an issue with oily scalp!
This conditioner smells different to the matching shampoo in the range. They have changed the packaging of this product so that it can sit flat and you are able to get the last out of it easier I like that. I was expecting a strong coconut type smell but instead it was light and fresh. When I received this product I had washed my hair recently so I decided to just try the conditioner in the shower on wet hair to refresh and hydrate and not use shampoo. The conditioner was white creamy and nice and thick. When I put through my hair I noticed that slippery feeling that most conditioners have as an effect to the wet hair but it did not have as much slip as most others this to me would make one think that because of this you could feel like you need to use some more - you do not as I learned. Following the first conditioner use my hair felt oily the next day and on the same day I could feel the residue from the conditioner so, even though initially I felt like I needed more as the conditioner is not as slippery on the hair I did not need to use more product than usual and after the first use my hair did actually feel weighed down I needed to rinse it out a bit better and use less. I wanted to leave a bit in my hair to hydrate my ends which actually ended up a bad move as the whole lot of my hair became weighed down and greasy. The second time I used this product the results were far better the ends of my hair were light and fluffy after use and there no residue at all so I think it is key to get the ratio right and rinse out properly the conditioner did not weigh my hair down this time. This product has no silicone in it the purpose of silicone is to add shine to hair but they can build up and make your hair dry in the long run the silicone can build up and hide the true condition of the hair they put a film around the hair shaft but the film can actually be quite drying to the hair as they build up preventing hair oils and moisture from being absorbed. The good things about this conditioner is it has no silicone which means you can give your hair a break as getting rid of the build up can also be a hair damaging process. Using silicone free long term can enable you to get shiny hair naturally as opposed to a falsified shine that comes from silicone or dimenthicone, hair and scalp will become more balanced the natural oils produced at the roots will be able to be absorbed to the rest of your hair like the dry areas. This product did seem to hydrate my hair while revealing the damage to my hair at the same time. I feel like after reading up about silicone free conditioners that I would probbaly re purchase and with the packaging changed to be more kind to the environment by being recycled I think I will be purchasing from this line in the future. My review is based only on a 1 week trial as BR kindly chose me.
This is one product thats off my shopping list. My hair is very oily and I need to shampoo every day. This conditioner smells like any other conditioner. Could not smell coconut. Infact there is nothing unique about this product. The hair felt soft post washing. But got limp very fast and felt heavy and greasy again in a day. Not a good experience.
