I love the packaging. The bottle is simple and convenient and made from recycled ingredients. The shampoo smells refreshing and gentle. To my surprise, it lathers up nicely. My hair felt soft, clean, and smooth afterwards. It does not leave any residue in your hair. I could still smell it after my hair was dry which is lovely. I would definitely recommend this.

Cute packaging and nice size bottle. Pleasantly surprised by the fragrance. Not over powering at all. Now for the bad bits...So much lather..So much to wash out. My hair was so porous afterwards yet stringy on the ends and knotty. It felt stripped of all its natural oil. You need a conditioner after using this or your hair will hate you. My scalp did not appreciate this product.
Tips: Maybe use a tiny amount unless you want to make a hat out of the foam?
I tried this shampoo for the first time as part of the beauty review trial. The shampoo has a great consistency, and a delicate but pleasant smell. The shampoo lathers well I didn't like using it on its own, the shampoo didnt have the same clean feel to it when you didnt use the conditioner. The shampoo and conditioner are definitely made for each other. This is why the recommendation is only a 4, as I cant recommend it on its own. I love the natural ingrediants too! I will be using these regularly.
Tips: Use with the conditioner - definitely!
I really like the unique packaging, and I loved how much information they managed to fit on the bottle (I love reading every word of hair care/skin care products!). I did find the bottle cap hard to open though - I thought I was going to break a nail from it!
The shampoo is clear with a gel-like consistency. I found I needed to use a bit more than I would with other shampoos, in order to get a good lather. I also definitely needed to double shampoo, as the first application I didn't feel like I got much lather or much of a clean at all. Then, once I rinsed my hair the second time it felt almost too squeaky clean - to the point of it feeling stripped. This was a problem when I went on to apply the conditioner from the range, which was quite a thin consistency - my hair had small tangles and knots.
Unfortunately I didn't like the smell - it seemed quite fake and chemical-like. I could get past this if the product worked outstandingly, but it didn't.
After drying my hair, it felt clean but it didn't feel overly soft or look shiny/hydrated - it looked and felt a bit more lacklustre than I would expect for day one/freshly washed hair unfortunately. It also looked quite frizzy. The good news was that my hair didn't feel weighed down, and I appreciated that the shampoo delivered on that promise.
I will continue to use this shampoo, although I will use it alongside another shampoo going forward (i.e. first shampoo with a different brand, second shampoo with the Hair Food shampoo) since it doesn't lather as much as I would like it to. I liked the concept of the shampoo - it's great that it is made up of natural and vegan ingredients. However, I don't feel like it was executed as well as expected, so I wouldn't purchase it again. It didn't feel great to apply and it didn't provide great results.
Tips: Tip: I recommend pairing this shampoo with a thicker conditioner than the one from the range.
This is a clear shampoo its a thin consistency no squeezing of the bottle is required (at the start of the bottle), as you will just end up using to much. It has a flip type lid that is reasonably easy to open and closes easily too so no wastage. Its has a very strong fragrance when you first apply it really fruity and summer which i really like in a shampoo ans is also a little surprising as I've found that the more natural things get the less fragrance there is. Depending on the length of your hair (mines long) will depend on how much you use 30ml will do my daughters shorter thin hair and i would do that and need to go back again to get all my hair thoroughly covered, which means i would use a little than my regular shampoo. My hair was easy to comb after i washed it silky smooth and once dry it was left with a nice natural shine which i like, and it stayed that way for a good couple of days so i wasn't needing to wash every other day. I could go 3-4 days before it has that greasy feel to my hair but i never seem to get those really dry ends like i normally do. This is on the more expensive side for supermarket shampoo and i really like the results so would purchase this every now and again but not every time. The bottle is a slender rectangle not too high fits in the shower cavities nicely and didn't take up too much space, it has nice pictures and is nice and easy to read and you can find all the info easily.
This is a great shampoo that left my hair light and clean with a light fragrance my hair was a lot more hydrated and i didn't get dry frizzy ends when it was needing washed again.
I would totally recommend this shampoo to anyone who has dry hair and looking for a bit more moisture so that you don't to wash as often to help tame those frizzy ends.
Tips: i really liked this product but i think you need to stick with it my hair seemed more hydrated after a couple of weeks use, Stick with it!!
The first thing I like is the packaging! Different from the classic Garnier shampoo/condition slim bottle - it is super cute, reminds me of a juice bottle. The bottle looks and feels like a premium version of the classic Garnier range. The breakdown of ingredients on the back of the bottle is easy peasy to understand, with 96% of natural origin products I found it an interesting read.
As all Garnier products do - it smells yummy. I wasn't quite sure what to expect with Aloe Vera, it was light and refreshing but not overpowering. The texture is jelly-like, I did find a bit more product came out of the bottle than I typically use.
I shampoo my hair twice before conditioner - it lathered nicely in my hair. Once my hair dried it felt nice and soft (maybe due to no silicone?). I didn't see any outstanding or surprising results, it did the job it states.
At a 350ml volume bottle, I would expect it would last me a few weeks. It is on the smaller size, which is good if you are just wanting to try a new product out. The price point of $12.00 (full price at countdown) is more than I wouldn't want to pay for a supermarket brand hair product especially since I grew up using the classic Garnier range which on sale was $3! It is currently on sale for $8.40 which is more realistic in my opinion.
Tips: Shampoo twice! Once to clean out the dirt and grease and then a second to cleanse the hair
Firstly I want to say that I actually liked this product, it's just not the one for me to use more than every now and then.
The first time that I used the shampoo I was pleasantly surprised, it looked nice - if a little thicker than I was expecting, it smelt pleasant and it lathered up nicely then rinsed out well. My hair didn't feel stringy or stripped when rinsed so I thought I was onto a winner.
Not sure what happened when I used it for the second and third time thou :( All the above re the lather & the rinse were true again but my hair felt completely different, dry and coarse. Not even the conditioner could get it back to how it felt the first time I used it.
The only think that I can think of is that I had product build up in my hair the first time which the shampoo removed and the second time it just dried out my hair? I don't really know.
I'll definitely keep it in the rotation and maybe use once every couple weeks when my hair needs a break.
Tips: Open the bottle lid when your hands are dry - for some reason its quite clunky and hard to open when your hands are slippery!!
Beautiful sustainable packaging with a lovely scent but that’s as far as my positive words go. I found myself having to wash my hair more regularly with this product. Gone from once a week wash to every second day as my hair just got so greasy with this product.
Shampoo packaging is very vibrant, sleek and bright, love the colours. all so love how it is compact and will fit your shower caddy the shampoo is a really good constancy, you dont need a lot to shampoo the hair, a little goes a long way I found.
Love the smell Garner always nails it with the smells.. i gave this shampoo a good try and i actually found in the end, it is a really good supermarket shampoo, my hair is shinny enough.. i do have to wash my hair daily, but i actually think i could go every 2 days as it wasn't as oily second day which is a bonus..
I really like this shampoo defiantly would recommend for every day affordable use
Tips: No tips as Im sure everyone knows how to use shampoo
Love what this product stands for, vegan formula, biodegradable, bottles are made with 50% recycled plastic, recyclable, dermatologically tested, no silicone's for a lighter touch. A brilliant combination for a forward thinking product.
Container is easy to use, great medium size, fits in shower well. Great for the whole family to use. Leaves my dry frizz prone hair feeling soft and silky. Lathers up well, prefer to do a double wash and rinse. Lovely clean scent, not overpowering.
