This thick concotion comes in a generously sized tub. The product itself can be used three ways. As a daily condiyioner, as a deep conditioner or as a leave in conditioner. My hair is fine and pixie length and I prefer to use this as a weekly deep conditioner after using a clarifying shampoo. This works well, although I can totally see myself using it as a regular condtioner too. Lightly scented, it leaves my hair feeling well conditioned.

Tips: If you have dry hair, you might need something with a bit more oompf.
This is my favourite conditioner - it’s cruelty free, vegan, and smells AMAZING. My hair feels so soft and silky after using this, and gives it a gorgeous shine. It’s also 98% natural origin which means that there is no silicones or sulphates. 10/10 would recommend. I’m also LIVING for the packaging - no waste! Every bit of product is used.
Tips: Use this as a conditioner, mask or leave in. These all give amazing results ❤️❤️
unfortunately aloe vera hair food was my least favorite out of all of the garnier hair foods. I tried using it as a rinse out and leave in and it left my curly hair very frizzy afterward. very disappointing, I won't be using again.
I use this as a leave in treatment. I have very fine and dry curly hair and this is a dream to use. Very moisturising and light so does not drag down the curls. For those that follow curly Girl method hair food is approved!
Tips: Don’t use too much product for a leave in as can leave the hair a little crispy when it dries. Less is more!
I have. Previously received and used Garniers multi use hair food product before and did find that my hair is and has been pretty soft and more easier to manage with no kinks or knots.
The product rinses out somewhat pretty quickly and leaves hair feeling very soft and silky afterward. I usually apply the product and leave it for a good couple of minutes while I do other things in the shower (I always wash my hair first) and then rinse off before I hop out.
The scent is not very strong and I would probably say it is on the low side unless you are sticking your nose very close to the little. It would also be space saving, convenient and easier to use if it was in a bottle but then also it would be much easier to use up all of the product in the round potter and being able to visually see that it is completely used up is good rather than having to cut open the bottle.
Overall, I did enjoy using it and thought the scent was not overpowering and mild.
I have been a religious user of the banana hair food, but I think this may be my new fav! I have curly hair. I used this as a conditioner, paired with the shampoo bar, and my curls are definitely more hydrated and defined. When I use this as a mask, I lather this on dry hair. I leave on for a while, when I’m cleaning, cooking dinner etc (on my entire hair). I then wash with the shampoo bar, then add more of this to the ends, then rinse….my hair looks amazing! But my favourite use of this is as a leave in treatment. I add a little to my ends and let my hair air dry and my curls look beautiful and not weighed down. Really impressed with Garnier and will most definitely be purchasing this again.
I have been using the Garnier Fructis Hair Food Aloe Vera pottle in combination with the aloe vera shampoo bar. What an amazing duo! I wash my hair 3-4x a week and I have normal-dry wavy hair and i find that this product works amazingly. The fragrance is pleasant without being overpowering. I have been using it as a leave in conditioner, and I've been happy with the result - soft, shiny & easy to manage hair. It also works as a detangler as my hair gets really knotty. It seems to be combatting the dryness. Awesome product.
Tips: Only use a small amount and work into the bottom of your hair
This conditioner is lovely. The scent is mild but fresh. My hair felt and looked smooth with no annoying flyaways.
But what's up with the tub? I get that it can also work as a masks but the tub really isn't that practical in the shower. The wide lid can be tricky with wet hands and then scooping out the right amount just is time consuming.
Tips: You won't need much as it goes a long way. Ensure if you're using as a conditioner in the shower be careful handling can be tricky
I'm a huge fan of these products and have even recommended them to friends. This aloe one was nice but not as good as the other ones they have. I enjoy how much you get in the tub and how a little goes a long way.
This is so good smells amazing and before they bought out the body lotion versions of this food line I tried it on my sunburn and it helped soothe because of the aloevera. I like how this line perfumes the hair and that this is a multi tasking product. A conditioner a hair mask a leave in treatment and even a body lotion ideal for sun exposed skin. I just wish these were not expensive - the supermarkets really hike them up and I wait for the specials. I see now there are some new pineapple type ones and a red one they did for coloured hair I don't see on the shelf anymore. This and the Banana food are my favourite but I like the orange red containers too plus the watermelon. I wish the solid shampoo and conditioning bars from this line smelled as good as these do. I also like that the product is fairly thick abd the container can be repurposed I have saved some of my empties and mix up my hair colour masks in them. If you're new to silicone free conditioner this might not fell that great on the hair for you as it doesn't give that ultra silky smoothing lubricant feeling and look like the majority of conditioners do and some is in shampoo aswell but I do find it healthy for hair. It doesn't hide or mask damage as well as silicone products do but helps nourish and repair better.
