Show your hair some love by using Garnier Fructis Hair Food Aloe Vera. The thick, creamy formula is easy to scoop out of the tub (which is recyclable but can totally be repurposed instead) and apply as a conditioner, mask or treatment. I love the fruity fresh scent which makes your hair smell great after use. I used Garnier Fructis Hair Food Aloe Vera as a conditioner, combing a small amount through my ends. It washes out nicely without leaving residue and instantly makes my hair feel soft and silky. I often battle frizz and flyaways but after using the hair food my hair was sleek and smooth. My daughter more often than not has tangles in her hair but Garnier Fructis Hair Food Aloe Vera combed through easily and detangled - without her screaming so bonus points for that! I only need a small amount to use as a conditioner so the tub should last me a while. I would definitely recommend it to family and friends!

Tips: Dry ends? Rub a small amount of Garnier Fructis Hair Food Aloe Vera for smooth, hydrated tips.
After reading the back of the tub, I realised it could be used more than one way - how convenient! I tried it as a mask and as a leave in - both times I noticed my hair was soft and shinier than usual the next day. Will definitely use this again.
This made my hair super soft and hydrated and was easy to use. I loved the product itself, but think it would be more user-friendly in a squeeze bottle.
I have used the mask both as a conditioner and as a leave in product. Works well as a conditioner and mask with my hair being soft an manageable . Not such a fan as a leave in conditioner as I felt my hair seemed a little straw like and needed to wash my hair again before I normally would have as I felt there was too much product buildup on my scalp despite trying hard to use it in my ends. Perhaps it just takes a while for my hair to adjust to a new product though so will continue to use
I had actually just finished a tub of this exact product, before receiving it to trial so I have had a good three months worth of using it to base my review on.
My hair: brown, very long, fine, frizzy, crankshaft curl pattern. Not coloured. I shampoo daily, condition every other day and air dry. No scalp concerns.
PROS: Easy to find, multi-use product. I used it as a mask, a dab as a leave in, but mostly as normal rinse out conditioner. It does a good job of making my hair feel soft, it smells nice and my hair is easy to comb afterwards, it actually helps my easily knotty hair drop the tangles out when I rinse. There's a lot in the tub compared to other brands. There are lots of scents to choose from as well. Overall if I need a thick conditioner, I would buy this again, but in the banana scent.
CONS: there's so much in the tub I got a bit tired of the scent. The lid is pretty big so I always had to unscrew it before shower with dry hands, and balance the lid on top to keep the water out until I needed it. I dropped the tub a couple times. I usually keep conditioner off my roots but this was okay, no flat hair or oily scalp.
I was lucky enough to be chosen to review the Aloe Garnier Food Shampoo Bar and the Aloe Hair Food. It was the first time I had tried a shampoo bar, nice size and fits in your hand perfectly, I found that it lathers up thick and quite creamy so you don't need to use a lot. It's quite soft so finding a place to put it could be a problem as my shower is above my soap dish and it would literally just melt away quite quickly. I ended up taking it out of shower and leaving it to dry and then put it in small container. After shampooing I used the Aloe hair food to condition my hair. Great smell and I like the tub packaging, it can just be left on shower floor. I also like that you can just scoop the amount out you need and apply as needed. Blow dried my hair as normal and it looked great, hair was clean and soft but seemed to lack lustre. That evening my hair was quite lank looking and by the morning looked a little greasy and that it needed another wash, I only ever wash my hair twice maybe three times a week so was a little disappointed that it looked the way it did.
To begin with I have to say that my hair is not discolored or excessively damaged. My first impresión of the Garnier hydrating Aloe Vera hair food has been quite satisfactory, It leaves the hair manageable with a plenomenal smell and not very heavy. If you are one of the people Who avoid consuming cosmetic products with Palm oil derivatives, this product contains stearamidopropyl. According to information from Garnier This derivative may contain sustanaible Palm oil.
I used this as a conditioner, after the aloe vera shampoo bar. Left my hair more under control than usual. Tub means it's easy to use and there's non left behind as you can happen with bottles.
Before this trial I had never used a hair mask or equivalent product so was unsure what to expect. I tried the product two ways - 1. As a replacement conditioner; and 2. As a hair mask following conditioner. I didn't notice heaps of a difference but I think using it as a supplement to the conditioner made the ends of my hair very silky and soft. My hair had a little extra 'boost' of hydration and it was a nice way to feel pampered. I enjoyed the subtle but fresh aloe vera smell of the product. I was confused about the choice of a big pottle for this product - I think it would've been easier to use a regular squeezy bottle.
Tips: Use about half the amount of your normal conditioner as the product is heavier and richer than regular conditioner.
I’ve used Garnier Fructis Hair Food Aloe Vera in a few different ways. I’ve used it as a leave in, I applied a small amount over my hair end in the morning and do my daily work, then at night I wash my hair and apply Garnier Fructis Hair Food Aloe Vera as a conditioner. This makes my hair very smooth. Loving it! Definitely will use this again!
Tips: As a leave in, apply only a small amount from mid hair towards the hair end. This will prevent split ends and protect the hair from harsh cold winter. To use it as a conditioner, use as when you use normal conditioner, leave it for a minute then rinse. This will make your hair so smooth, and healthy!
