I’ve only just started my curly girl hair journey, part of that was getting new hair products of course! I didn’t want to spend a fortune so when this was recommended as a curly girl approved product I was so happy since it’s so inexpensive! It smells divine! I’ve been using it to co-wash my hair and my hair feels so much more healthy and hydrated, and my curls has returned! The product is thick which I love, and feels amazing going through my hair.

Tips: If you have curly hair this product is great! Use it both as shampoo and conditioner!
I use this as a hair mask after I use conditioner. It smells amazing and is so nourishing. It helps to make my hair more manageable and my hair is more hydrated after using it. It really helps with my usually dry and damaged hair. I've also noticed less frizz after using this product as well!
I enjoyed using this product. I liked trialing it.
I have curly thick dry hair and this product has Curly hair-friendly ingredients. So if you have curly hair I would recommend giving this a go.
Personally, I thought this cream was hydrating, but I really did not like my hair smelling like a banana. The smell over time really turns weird. I have dry hair so I don't shampoo my hair more than once a week so this stayed on my hair for a week or 6 days, so i didn't enjoy smelling banana on my hair which is weird.
I do think it's hydrating for my hair, so i would use this as a conditioner or hair mask that i would wash off after. So i wouldn't apply it as a leave in conditioner
Tips: Use as a hair mask unless you want your hair smelling like a banana for the week, you can apply it as a leave in cream.
Garnier Fructis Hair Food conditioners are tailored to suit your hair care needs. The banana flavour is wonderful at hydrating and softening hair. After a year of using these conditioners (alternating flavours from time to time), my hair has become thicker again and super soft and silky.
The price of these are incredibly cheap and they work wonders on your hair. I usually just pick one up from the supermarket when I do my grocery shop. I love the packaging of these products. It allows you to scoop how much you desire, and you are able to use the entirety of the product compared to tubes and bottles, where there is always product left over that you cannot get out.
Smells amazing and made my dry coloured blonde hair feel so much smoother and softer. It was far less frizzy and feels healthier.
Tips: I washed and conditioned my hair and then towel dried it lightly before putting the mask on for the recommended minute.
I had heard great things about this hair treatment, and decided to try it when I saw it on sale at Pak n Save during the August level 4 lockdown. My hair is dry and frizzy, and this adds a lot of moisture, and helps smooth it out. I use it as a hair mask after applying shampoo and conditioner, and as a leave-in conditioner on wet and dry hair. A little goes a long way! There is still lots in the container even after using it several times a week since August.
I love using hair foods, they're so amazing and leave my hair so luscious and silky. The scent on this one is so amazing and stays all day! It's a fresh smell and is so yummy.
The product overall is so good and i definitely recommend.
I was very excited to try this ,having extremely dry hair ,and no success with many products this was definitely something I was hoping would actually improve my hair .
The size of the container is good ,only thing is wasn’t sure if it’s recyclable ,and I would have preferred an inner seal to make sure no contamination could occur .
The fragrance was definitely Banana and I found it a bit over powering ,but it doesn’t make your hair smell excessively of banana thank goodness .
The cream was soft ,creamy ,silky ,like marshmallow, felt good on your hands and hair ,I used this as a conditioner and found it excellent .
My hair now feels soft, silky and Manageable ,I just wish it was able to add body to my hair as well .
It really delivered for me ,no longer does my hair feel dry or brittle hence the 5 star rating .
I intend to keep using this product and might try as a leave in treatment next time ,I particularly liked that there were more than one option for its use . Highly recommend to anyone wth dry hair issues .
Tips: If your hair is very dry do be liberal with the amount you use
This product is wonderful! My hair is very fine and thinning (thanks menopause!) and although this is a conditioner it gave it texture and fullness without any other product added. I used the conditioner in the 3 ways suggested on the back of the pot and the result was the same!
Tips: Make sure you put the lid on or water from the shower gets in it haha!! whoops!
Smells great, does a great job for my dry hair and works really well to detangle it.
I use it twice a week as a conditioning treatment in the shower
Tips: You only need a little bit as it goes a long way
