Garnier Fructis Hair Food Goji Review

Before I opened the container I could smell the delicious product, smells good enough to eat, and it just gets better! You can use this product in 3 different ways and I have tried all 3 and to be honest it is a dream product! It works as a conditioner, mask and leave in conditioner. My hair feels amazing especially the day after using it as a mask. The container is large and you don't need much, I have thick long hair and I was surprised at the little amount I needed. I regularly color my hair and this product does exactly what it says it does, my hair feels amazing and looks shiny! I am sold, I will definitely be continuing to use this product! And will be recommending to everyone I know.

This is so good! I used it in place of my normal conditioner and now I think I will continue to use it as a conditioner. It left my hair feeling so soft and it really hydrated my dry ends. It smells amazing and the scent lingers in your hair all day! It made my hair smoother and less frizzy. I also love that this product is so versatile, it can be used as a hair mask and as a leave-in hair treatment. It has really made a noticeable difference to my previously dry and dull winter hair. It now looks glossy and healthy again!

Let's start by saying that during winter my hair and skin become very dehydrated. On my skin I use a lot of hydrating products and on my poor coloured hair I need to step up my game. A recent convert to hair masks I had actually dropped and cracked my one, so the timing for this one was serendipidous.

Firstly the packaging is HUGE! You get a lot or product in here. I liked that Garnier were straight up about this not being 100% natural, but very close to. I really respect the transparency there.

The smell was very sweet, but I like it, especially first thing in the morning when you're feeling a little less fresh, having something so fruity and fragrant is lovely on the senses.

The product itself is white, thick and creamy. You can use this as a conditioner, a mask or a leave in conditioner. I used mine as a conditioner and mask. I really liked that there was a lot or product because I could really cover my long hair from root to top and make sure all the goodness covered everything. And because it's sulphate free I didn't have to worry about it stripping my hair of colour.

The result was that my hair was soft, silky and smooth. I found I didn't need as much hair oil to tame the frizz which is awesome and has left my hair a lot lighter in weight.

It definitely does what it says, and for a drugstore brand I'm really impressed. Garnier really came to the party!

I was impressed with the size of the tub. The smell was pleasant and not overpowering. The first morning that I used this my husband commented on how lovely my hair looked, he said it looked healthy and shiny, not something he has ever said before. The following day our neighbours popped round and the first thing the lady said was how lovely my hair looked. My hair feels extremely soft and obviously looks in excellent condition. I would definitely buy this again, it is the best product I have ever tried and although the cost is TBC, it will be well worth whatever price they put on it. I am sure it will also help to protect my hair during the summer months, I am so impressed with it.

I am innlove with this conditioner. I have used it twice as a mask and found it marvelous! My gair was extremely soft and shiny. It didn't weighy my hair down at all either. I will try it as a normal conditioner next time and if its successful then I will alternate between using as a mask and conditioner.

I was so pleased to be picked for this trial as my hair gets really damaged through colouring and being outside a lot. I love the large pottle with screw lid and at 390 mls feels really generous. The container is white and a lovely strawberry red with a large screw top lid which is easily opened. The conditioner is white and thick and has a lovely fruity sweet smell . No bad stuff in this product which is another plus. I have tried all three ways and have been pleased with each application. Firstly I applied as leave in and first application I used too much so my hair felt greasy - This I corrected the next time after shampooing by applying a tiny bit to the ends of my hair and it worked a treat -no fly away ends and my hair felt really good. It was hard to judge how much is meant by 10 cents as I have really thick hair so would imagine a little trial and error to start. I then tried as a conditioner and this was lovely -easy to use a nice dollop and my hair felt really soft and healthy. The very best use was as a mask - I applied and left on a good five minutes and the result was really good. My hair felt really soft and had a really nice healthy shine which when you colour you hair frequently is hard to achieve. Using this product is really good for my coloured hair as it is now tangle free, shiny and soft with no dry ends . Not sure of the cost of this product but feel really worth trying and I will certainly be using in the future.

Garnier did a brilliant job on the packaging. You get a massive amount of product and It smells soooo good!! I also like that it tells you exactly what is in this product.

I used this a few different ways. I have long, thick, coloured, wavy Hair and I wash my hair about 2 times a week.

My first application I used this as a full head conditioner; After the first application the roots of my hair felt a little heavy and weighed down; the rest of my hair felt AMAZING!! I was soooo impressed!! It looked extra healthy, shiny, soft, less frizz, lite weight and I was very happy. Every hair wash my mid to the ends of my hair felt and looked fantastic! (I even got complimented) As a leave in conditioner it made my hair less frizzy and made my waves look extra nice. It worked lovely as a hair treatment on my mid to ends. I was also surprised that my "split, desperately needing a cut" ends were softer, more manageable and looked healthier.

I would highly recommend this product!

I am super happy with this product as I had been on the look out for a hair mask/ deep conditioning treatment for a while as I have highlights and towards the ends of my hair it is getting quite brittle and tangles easily.

I used it as a pre shampoo treatment as I didn't want it to leave my hair heavy and not voluminous, and left it in for a few minutes, shampooed then gave my hair a good brush and blow dry.

I instantly noticed that the ends were less frizzy looking, more smooth and shinier, and it seems that others did too as I got heaps of compliments!

After using it that first time I have had less problems with knots and my hair smells amazing too!

Would definitely reccomend to anyone with dry ends and an oily scalp like me, but make sure you only put it through the ends of your hair and shampoo afterwards!

I was lucky to be part of the Garnier Fructis Protecting Goji Hair Food trail team. Couple of months ago, I got balayage style done on my hair, so that means it has bleached streaks. I noticed the ends were particularly dry and felt damaged after a month. I was very excited to try the Goji Hair Food as it’s an intense conditioner, specifically for coloured hair. The product in contained in 390ml tub and is of 98% natural origin. It’s free from silicones, parabens and artificial colourants as well as 98% biodegradable. The Goji Hair Food smelt delicious and fruity. I didn’t expect it to smell that delicious, since I’ve tasted goji berries and they don’t taste or smell as delicious. The texture is thicker and creamier than a normal conditioner.

The Goji Hair Food can be used in 3 different ways – conditioner, mask and a leave-in conditioner. I’ve only tried it as conditioner and mask, as I thought that leave-in might cause breakouts on my face. I followed the instructions on the tub to use the conditioner and the mask. After shampooing, I applied the Goji Hair Food as a conditioner in replacement of my usual conditioner and then rinsed it out. I could already feel how soft and smooth my hair was while it was wet, and it remained that way after I dried it. The colour in my hair also looked very vibrant and my ends didn’t feel or look damaged anymore. As for the mask, I applied it after using my usual shampoo and conditioner and left it on for 1 minute before rinsing it out. It was the same result as using it as a conditioner, which was great. The only problem I had using it as a mask was that my hair greased up within a couple of hours, which is not ideal for someone with oily hair.

I prefer using the Garnier Fructis Protecting Goji Hair Food as a conditioner and I will continue to use it as a conditioner. This product is amazing, and I love how it’s revived the colour in my hair and left it shiny. This is great for anyone else who also has coloured their hair, especially if it’s bleached.

When you first see the Garnier Fructis Hair Food Goji, it makes you think you are having one of those luxury strawberry flavoured yogurts, and when you open the container you feel like going for the spoon. The smell is very nice and fruity but not too strong.

This product is creamy and you can use it as a conditioner, hair mask and as a leave-in treatment.

I like the container but I found it a bit tricky to use as a conditioner when you have a little shower cubicle like mine. It was interesting to get the product while in the same time trying that no water goes inside the container. That is the only ‘bad’ thing I can find about this product.

After a couple of uses my hair felt nicer, healthier and didn’t tangle as much as before (even when I really need to have a haircut).

When I used it as a leave-in, my hair felt good and not greasy or with residue as sometimes happens with other leave-in products.

It is a great product, I like the result in my hair and it is free of parabens, silicones and artificial colourants. Double bonus!!!
