I absolutely loved this S&C set. It's smelled delish like watermelon Hubba Bubba i.e pure nostalgia. The shampoo left my hair feeling nice and clean without being 'squeaky clean', and the conditioner is way thicker and creamier than I thought it be. I don't think it added more volume to my hair per se, but it definitely did make it feel light and shiny and bouncy. Would 100% repurchase

These hair products really are a treat. I love that the bottles are easily distinguishable from each other and that they have nice study flip tops. The perfume is fresh and pleasant. The shampoo is gentle and the conditioner is easy to rinse out and not gluey. My fine hair feels lovely, manageable, soft and definitely feels as it has more volume. These products are good value, tick the “natural” box and for fine hair a definitely must-buy.
I liked these because they didn't make my hair frizzy, and made my curls more defined. They also didn't weigh my hair down, which a lot of shampoos and conditioners do, especially ones that add moisture. The fragrance is just so strong that it's a little hard to get past, but if you can, then it's a really good combination.
Beautiful packaging - looks like yummy smoothie bottles. Recyclable, natural and cruelty free - very important boxes to tick. Perfect for fine hair, another tick. Both products smell nice, fresh and summery. The products are complementary - my hair feels clean and silky without feeling heavy. I dislike heavy hair products because my hair is so fine - love the lightweight products. Very affordable. And I know I have already said it, but the range is cruelty free - I no longer support any manufacturers of personal care products that make use of animal testing.
Tips: Use the Fructis Hair Food Watermelon Shampoo and Conditioner together for optimal results.
The shampoo and conditioner came in a bottle which reminded me somehow of those yogurt drink bottles, especially the conditioner bottle due to its white bottle. It’s going to take me a while to get use to it’s rather unique packaging. I loved how it had those warning labels for young kids who might somehow mistaken them for food or drinks.
Anyways, i fell in love with its green click clack lid. It was sturdy, and strong, but easy to use. It’s fun to open and clicks back firmly into place so easily without leaving a mess.
The pair is very lightly scented so the hair comes out smelling natural without a strong scent.
The shampoo cleanses my hair well and conditioner smoothes and softens my hair. The shampoo and conditioner doesn’t weigh down my hair, but leaves my hair light, soft and smooth after drying to keep me and my hair happy.
Overall, i think it could do better with the volumising, but as a hair set i very much enjoyed it, and looking forward to trying others in this Garnier series. Next on my list would probably be the Aloe.
Love the range. Both products go so well together. From the smooth texture of the shampoo to the milky texture of the conditioner. I found my hair nice and clean and nice and bouncy after using both products. It made my hair smell great and looked really clean.
Tips: When using both products ensure you wet your hair. Firstly use the shampoo and wash thoroughly and rinse out, then use the condi5amd massage this into your hair. leave for a few seconds then rinse out. Once thoroughly rinsed brush out those knots and for best results dry your hair to give that nice bounce.
Garnier Fructis Volumising Shampoo and Conditioner smell good enough to eat. They come in easy-to-use compact bottles with fun bright labels. The packaging is made from 50% recycled plastic and is recyclable. As a regime, this duo is quick and easy to use. You don't have to leave the conditioner in for ages for it to work and both products rinse out cleanly. These products left my hair very soft and bouncy and smelling of juicy Watermelon.
Tips: Don't leave these products on the kitchen bench as they could be mistaken for something edible!
I love the cute little bottles the shampoo and conditioner come in. It's quite unusual and helps it stand out from other products. When my husband first saw them he thought I had bought fancy juices, I can see where he was coming from but I still like the way they look lol.
They both had the same scent, as you'd expect. A subtle fruity watermelon fragrance, smells so yummy.
The thing I found most impressive about the products was that they didn't give me dandruff. I have a dry, sensitive scalp, so I have to be very particular about which shampoos and conditioners I use. But I'm pleased to report that the Garnier Watermelon Hair Food products passed that test. This is surprising considering the shampoo contains sulfate, which would normally cause me to avoid it, but it wasn't a problem at all.
They were both easy to apply, lather up and rinse off. Left my hair feeling nice and smooth and clean, as you'd expect.
My hair is fine and naturally has very little volume so I was hopeful that this range could help me with that. While it didn't seem to weigh my hair down, it also didn't seem to give me more volume than other shampoos and conditioners. My hair is usually resistant to products that claim to be volumising, so I think a lot of the fault might lie within my stubborn flat hair.
Overall I do really like the products. I received them in exchange for a review so I didn't pay anything. I looked them up after using them and I was surprised to see they go for $11 to $12 each, considering their small size and the products don't seem extraordinary. To be honest, I'm not really sure if it is worth the price. There are cheaper products that I am just as happy with. So unfortunately I don't think I'm likely to buy more of these unless there's a really good sale.
There is a lot about these products I really liked, ie the size of the containers as they are not too big for older people to hold. I liked the good amount of information on the labels and loved the fact they are 96% and 97% natural respectively, with recyclable containers. both the shampoo and conditioner were good consistency but flowed easily from the opening and were easy to apply to my hair. They washed out easily and left my hair clean, tangle free and fresh smelling. I look forward to using them longer to judge whether they really do add volume
Tips: Quite concentrated products so only a small amount is needed if your hair is short
This shampoo and conditioner duo smell lovely and refreshing just like watermelon. They come in handy sized 350ml bottles which are both different colours which is great if you can't distinguish the two products in the shower due to failing eyesight. The containers are recyclable, don't contain silicon are vegan and not tested on animals. I found my hair felt like it had more volume and was easy to detangle after towel drying. I found I had my natural waviness back after using these products that other shampoo/conditioners did not enhance at all. I will definitely keep using this product in the future.
Tips: Use with the volumising watermelon hair food for even more voluminous hair.
