Loved this garnier Olia! I had the deep violet , and the colour was gorgeous, intense, bright and vibrant. Very easy to mix and apply, easy instructions to follow and I love the application bottle! Loved that it was a nice smell! Some of the other dyes I've used stink! The colour stayed vibrant for a good month, Would definitely use this product again!

I cant remember exactly what colour i used but it was a golden brown and it came out a really nice golden colour, a little darker than what i wanted but thats usually the case with most store bought dyes in my experience. Although the colour hasnt lasted and obviosuly fades out i would probably still use it again. I loved the smell of the conditioner that comes with it was sooooooo yummy and a really decent size! Easy to follow instructions pretty straight forward. Not bad overall.
I would have to say I prefer this brand over any other hair dye brands as the colours are great and its also ammonia free. The conditioner smells really good as well. I have tried so many colours from this brand but the one I most love was deep violet I think is was just love the how it came out after being washed.
I frequently home dye my hair, and decided to try a different product this time round. I loved the packaging - very slick - and the actual application bottle was a great shape to work with. The time to develop was standard and the smell was inoffensive. Also liked that Garnier included a larger tube of conditioner in the packet, so you can use it for future washes. However, I wasn't impressed with how it turned out. Colour pay off was relatively good, but it left my hair much drier than it was previously and I didn't feel like my hair had much richness/shine to it after the fact. I have had better coloration, glossiness and moisturisation from semi-permanent dyes and will return to using those.
Tips: If you wear a side part, make sure that you colour the top part of the hair on the side as intently as you do the roots.
I colour my hair semi-regularly, and I saw the Garnier Olia dye advertised EVERYWHERE, so I decided to give it a go! The packaging was quite lovely, and I was stoked with the amount of conditioner it came with: much more than most other home colour products, and I found the bottle easy to use. The dye had a surprisingly pleasant smell, and application was easy enough. However for a product that boasts how good it is for your hair, I found the quality of the product lacking. I used a red/brown colour, and found it faded incredibly fast compared to some of the other hair colours I had previously used. I also did not find my hair was any healthier afterwards than any other brands I have used. Overall I wouldn't say the product is anything special.
I am always on the look out for a new hair dye that really does a good permanent job , when looking in the super market this really jumped out at me , it could have been the packet and the fact i have a love for sunflowers i decided to give it a go. I think almost every aspect of the result was a bit of a let down, it smelled quite nice but the gloss or shine was pretty standard , my hair just felt like id washed it and i didnt really notice too much of a difference to my hair color . i was a red at the time but wanted to go dark brown but the red tones were still dominant and and any slight change id noticed faded within a week.
I used to dye my hair alot and was always using different brands and products. When Garnier Olia came out and after seeing it on the ads o tv i decided id try it. It was amazing!! Gave me the bright colour i wanted which was red and my hair was brown at the time and it did an amazing job. You couldnt tell i was brown before hand and the red was so bright. After dying my hair it didnt make my hair feel all stringy like the other products did and also made my hair smell really nice instead of having the chemical smell from ages. I would definatly use this product again!!
I've tried nearly every hair dying product on the market, and this is by far one of my favourites!
First of all, the colour ranges are really lovely, and I always have a hard time trying to decide which one to pick! They're natural looking, and the end result is always well worth it. The colours always show up well, and end up looking mostly like what is described.
Its an easy product to apply, and I find that it leaves my hair feeling so smooth after washing and drying it, some hair dyes make my hair really dry but this one didn't!
I also find it the most appealing packaging wise, and I think its why I ended up picking this one the first time I tried it! Its a reasonable price when not on sale, so I will mostly always get this one!
Tips: Don't pick a colour which won't show up on your hair, pick something that you know will look nice and you'll be impressed!
I recently started colouring my hair at home to save time. I really loved the advert and was impressed of the results I would get without ammonia. First time using I found application very easy, smell inoffensive, and very impressed that I got more than one use out of my conditioner. But after using this for a 6 month period, I colour my hair every 4-6 weeks. I found my results were patchy, it didn't cover well and was always left with an obvious halo with my re growth. It may be different if you have dark hair. But doesn't work well for blondes.
This is my first time colouring my hair at home as I usually get it done at a salon. The colour that I chose was Iced Chocolate which is a lovely light brown colour and I have found the overall experience pleasant.
My first impressions were positive. The packaging looked very high quality like a premium product should. It looked like it should be priced at about $25.00 not $16.99. Inside the box was a range of bottles and potions. As I have never dyed my hair at home before I got an experienced friend to do it for me. As she mixed the product I looked over the instructions provided which gave various methods depending on whether you had dyed your hair or not and I found them to be very easy to follow and really user friendly. Another positive was the smell of the product which was very pleasant kind of like a nice shampoo. After I let the dye work it's magic I jumped in the shower and washed it all out using the reasonably sized conditioner that was provided in the pack. The dye washed away easily and did not leave any stains on the shower floor. After showering and blow drying my hair I took a close up look and was stoked to find there were no dye stains around my face. My hair previously had red tones through it and all those red tones were replaced with a lighter brown but overall it didn't dye my hair a lighter brown like the packaging, it was more of a deep brown kind of like cocoa mixed with butter (you know, that really dark creamy brown). While this was not the colour that I was expecting based on the image of the woman on the packaging, I am still satisfied with the end result. Because my natural hair colour is a dark brown, almost black hair colour I will try an even lighter colour in the future. I am thankful to have tried Garnier Olia hair colour because I can now save a whole lot of money by dyeing my hair myself.
