I bought this in deep purple, and the formula is a little runny, but mostly fine. It smells amazing and feels so great on the hair, although the default conditioner doesn't smell as good. The only thing I'm concerned about is how fast my hair faded. I think it was less than 2 weeks when it started fading considerably, and this was me not even shampooing regularly (just 2/3 times a week). I was very disappointed especially because I paid full price for it. I'm giving it the benefit of the doubt. Maybe I had a bad batch or something. I would buy again if it was on sale, mostly because it smells so nice and leaves my hair feeling so smooth afterward!

Used quite a while back in the shade 660 a red. Red was a shade I had not really used at the time. For some reason I decided to dye underneath my hair and the roots. The result was fine with me was very bright on my roots the rest of my hair was very dark so the red in the underneath parts looked a bit burgundy in the light but really as my hair was so dark back then apart from the bright roots there was not much of a change. What I did like about this product was the smell and the fact it had 60percent oils in it made it seem healthy my hair seemed shiny enough following use but at the time I had sewn in extensions so I have no idea if the hair had been died before. They were done in a poor country so the extensions might have even been nearly virgin. the box of this brand was a bit bigger than your average supermarket dye but I am not sure it actually had more product inside. The bottle was different looking I note that on the description above it says the product will improve the softness and shine to your hair which I agree with but I would not say there was a dramatic result there for me either. I would like to try this product again I like how there is no ammonia in it and the product smells really good. I would not pay the full price for it unless I found it to be amazing or a trusted shade to keep using however I like to change it up.
I've used this hair colour about 4 times now and find it really easy to use because of the nice big applicator bottle. The fact that it's got no ammonia is great too, there's nothing worse than wanting to pass out from the fumes! However, I found that the colour wasn't as vibrant as I hoped the first couple of times, but it has improved the more times I've used it.
Tips: Leave the colour on your hair for an extra 5 minutes then what the instructions say. I found it helped better achieve the colour it was meant to be
Not as bright as I wanted it to be. Got the reddest colour and I wasn't really pleased with the colour pay off, the only thing that I liked about it is that it has made my hair shiny and even more healthy looking which is weird but good. will repurchase it since I like how the colour turned out despite the fact that it wasn't anything like the colour it supposed to come out as.
90% of the time il go to the salon for my colour. but every now & again il get lazy & do it at home. I found Olia to be a really lush colour & stayed in my hair a lot longer than many other home dyes iv tried. not too strong smelling & gave me soft, shiny locks when dried.
this product did what it said it was going to do. my hair went frm blonde to a deep bright purple. only problem i had was it washed out very wuick compared to other hairdyes i have used with a high fibrant. would still use product again as loved the fibrant colours they have
This was the first dye i have used that didn't have an overpowering chemical smell.
However the red colour i used wasn't very bright and didn't seem to last as long as other at home dyes.
The price is also twice or more the amount of other dyes which is less than desirable
Lots of wash out aswell with this colour but as expected with home dyes and a red colour so im not too picky about that as many others do it too.
The package was easy to use and the bottle etc made it easy to apply and not make mess if doing it on your own
Tips: Would reccommend getting two packets if your hair is past shoulder length as i feel this product was lacking, and i may almost have not had enough product to colour all my hair.
So I received my colour today and was so excited I used it straight away :)
Firstly, when I opened the box, I thought the packaging was very stylish. It's a lot better looking than other brands out there. I liked it a lot. The second thing I noticed while mixing the product was that it didn't have that foul chemical smell. It was a pleasant floral smell. So I wasnt getting gas out while applying the product to my hair. That is a huge thing for me. It actually made the whole experience of colouring my hair enjoyable. It's normally something I hate to do! While the colour was developing, the dye got really dark which gave me high hopes for the end result. I normally just colour my hair dark brown (I haven't in almost a year because I wanted to give my hair a break) so thought I would switch it up and try something different. However, once I washed it out after the 30mins and let it dry naturally, I was quite disappointed in the colour. It wasn't the intense vibrant violet I was expecting. It's a nice dark colour, and you can see the violet in the light, just not what I was expecting. However, I do have longish hair and maybe if I use two boxes instead of trying to portion one box for all my hair, it would if been different. I'm going to try that next time with the same colour to see if it makes a different. The product is good though, and will definitely be using it again :)
Tips: If you have long hair, definitely use two boxes. It sucks having to try and ration out one box on long hair and also apply something along your hair line to stop it from staining your skin, just make sure you don't get any on your hair :)
I trialed this product in the Soft Black shade (slightly darker than my natural hair colour). I dye my hair mainly to cover up greys (or as I like to call 'very very light blonde' hairs) and to make my hair more vibrant and shiny.
Since the hair dye is ammonia free there was no harsh smell, but a nice floral scent instead. This was a big plus for me. The dye was also easy to use, and very gentle (no burning or itching). The colour was perfect and it also made my hair look really healthy and covered up all the grey. A bonus was the gloves - much smaller (and therefore easier to use) than other brands.
However, I wasn't a fan of the bottle - it was very hard to hold (especially once I had dye on my gloves) and I even dropped it at one stage (luckily onto a towel on the floor). It was also very runny and dripped quite a bit. It also took a lot of rinsing to get all the product out (water is run clear), but I didn't have any brown marks on my towel afterwards.
I feel like the colour has faded quicker than ammonia based dyes, but I guess that is the cost of not using harsh chemicals.
Tips: If you have short hair, don't be tempted to use all the mixture as it is quite runny and will drip everywhere.
This was a nice colour on the box, for my shade it should have been more vibrant (it said vibrant red after all). Its an OK colour but not as bright and flamboyant as I had hoped for. It seems to last well (was about 3/4 weeks ago and my hair fades fast) it has kept its colour. the application was a tad patchy (that may not have been the colour but the application) and the colour doesn't seem to have taken over the previous shade that was there. It has made the roots brighter (which is strange as they are usually the darkest). while this colour was nice I won't be purchasing it again
Tips: Maybe best suited for light hair (blonde to very light brown) wanting a nice red colour but not for mid really for brown and darker
