Garnier Sleek & Shine Anti Frizz Serum Review

I feel like this is a silicone leave on conditioner. So maybe it is? Have you used 'Merino Lanolin Hair Tonic' or 'Reebonn Leave on Silicone Conditioner' before? Well this feels exactly like those.

The texture feels thick and oily in hand and well..just about the same on the hair of you use too much. The trick is to use less of it. If you think 2 pumps will be enough for your entire length of hair..use just half of that and see how you like it. Or better yet, use only a quarter of that amount and work up from there. Because a little goes a loooong way with this product. And if you use too much you will end up looking like a greasy chicken. Also do not apply this to the roots or anywhere near the roots. Apply it to the ends and half way down the length of the hair. If you use it correctly your hair will end up looking soft, shiny and supply.

Also make sure you wash it off well while you shower because this type of silicone products can build up on the strands, weighing them down.

The packaging is really attractive and the first thing that caught my eye on the shelf. The product gets rid of the majority of frizz in my hair but doesn't give a 100% sleek and smooth effect. When straightening my hair it does gave me oftness and shine. One has to be very careful how much you apply to your hair as using too much will leave your hair looking greasy. It makes my hair have a really beautiful, natural shine, soft and manageable and really gets rid of some of the frizz. Also it has a very lovely, pleasant smell. As this product is really inexpensive and works relatively well, I would recommend this to my friends

I have wavy dry hair and it gets really frizzy so i bought this product hoping it would help. My hair is long and i find 1 pump to be way too much and leaves my hair an oily mess. This is the type of product i like to use overnight my dry ends can soak it up or when i do use it during the day i like to use it after iv'e curled my hair and i use about half a pump. It is really good for using after iv'e used heat on my hair as that's when my hairs its driest.

I love this product on my wavy/curly hair and even when I straighten it. It took me a while to really figure out how it worked best for me. The scent is great, but it can be easy to put too much product into your hair. I find that this product does last a while as you really don't need much.

There's a reason they've kept it around, I tried this for the first time in my teens (I'm now 31) and it still works as it did then. When I want sleek and straight hair, this is one of the products I use and bonus that the oil smells amazing! The more amount you put in, the more oily it makes your hair look so you only need one pump to put through your hair and add if you need more,

I had a bottle of this in my possession for over 10 years. It took me quite a few goes to work out the perfect amount and how exactly to use for my long frizzy hair that I would straighten every time. A little goes a long way! I keep reading reviews saying how oily it makes their hair feel and yes, I absolutely understand that, it happened to me when I either A. Used too much or B. Used it over my entire hair. As a serum, you should really only use the tiniest amount (Like less than a pea for me) on your damp ends and comb/brush through starting from the bottom. It is not something I would use as a complete anti-frizz as I find creams to work better for me. Love the smell and love how long this lasts. Not a fan of the pump as it is very easy to use too much by accident!

My hair is Quite a pain to manage, It's Wavy and dry; quite often being very frizzy. This product worked really well, I used about half a pump of this on my completely towel dried hair and found that was enough to smooth my hair. It gave me shiny and smooth hair while keeping my hair wavy and voluminous. Added bonus is that its great smelling.

I really love this product. I'm prone to very fuzzy hair days and also when straightening my hair those beloved fly a ways. Just a small amount does the trick. I use this product quite a lot and friends always ask what I use.

I loved the smell!! I do think it tamed my frizz too. I found I had to apply quite a bit before I straightened my hair...my hair use to be down to my butt. Now that my hair is short I don't need to use as much. Once I had finished with the straightener I would squirt a little bit more of the product in the palm of my hand and flatten down any fly aways. This helped a lot but by mid to late after noon the fly aways were back! I have purchased this product twice now but am willing to try other brands of fizz taming serums.

I have been using this serum for at least 5 years - came out and then was stopped and thank god was produced again! This serum is light, smells nice and a little goes a long way! My hair is wavy and it definitely helps to add shine, tame strays and tame. Looks great added after I have straightened. Great value also!
