I think this product may need rebranding. Recently I had the colour stripped from my hair & I knew I was running out of my Miracle Oil & wanted to try another hair serum, so off to the supermarket I went & this wee baby was on special. I was a little put off as it spouts on about anti frizz, but looking at the oils, it was what I thought I needed and I was right. My hair went from dry - oh so very dry after colour stripping which involved peroxides, as well as re-colouring - so my poor hair had 5 hours of treatments at the salon. After a week of use, my hair is back to feeling smooth, strong and nourished. I still have some special moments after washing my hair, but this oil puts it back to rights quickly. It has saved my hair.

I found this product on sale about a year ago at The Warehouse, and was impressed by it's claims so I decided to give it a go. It doesn't quite live up to all it's claims but it does do a great job on my ends!
This comes in a big green bottle, and I find it is perfectly sized for the price. One of these usually lasts me around 2 months which is impressive!
You dispense it using a pump, and it is good to travel with because you can lock it into place so it won't leak.
This smells like a hair salon, it's great! It is quite greasy in texture, and doesn't really soak into your hair when it's dry so I recommend only using it when your hair is wet.
Every night when I condition my hair I use this JUST ON THE ENDS, and it keeps them great for ages. The ends of my hair are so soft and it helps prevent breakage when combing through my hair!
I will definitely be repurchasing this again, for the price it's just a small staple in my hair care routine.
Tips: Only use this when your hair is wet, as it is a very greasy oil AND only apply from the mid-length of your hair down! Otherwise you will get greasy roots/scalp.
I bought this product at a Farmers sale as I was on the lookout for a frizz-tamer and thought the smell was nice, liked the addition of argan oil, and decided to test it out.
The size is good and I only really need one pump to do all of my hair, but I've found that it makes my hair immediately greasy if I put it in when my hair is dry so I'd really recommend putting it in when your hair is damp.
It doesn't live up to the claim of keeping your hair sleek and shiny for three days, I find that by the second day it makes my hair feel and look heavy and greasy, however it does make my hair feel wonderfully soft and lovely on the day it's applied.
You can't really put it into your roots because it goes greasy very quickly which is annoying for me as I bought it to sleeken my frizzy baby hairs.
It's good for the price but I wouldn't buy it again personally.
I used to use it a lot in my teen years and recently repurchased after not using it for the last 5 years as the brand is now cruelty free! The formula is still as liquidy as I remembered but soaked into my hair really well as I have dry/frizzy hair. The scent is still the same which is very nostalgic. The finished product looked shiny and healthy.
As I have used a few different hair oils/serum in the last 10+ years, this still ranks pretty good on performance, price and availability to purchase. Is it my number must use hair product, no. Would I repurchase again in future, yes.
Tips: A little goes a long way.
I did not like this in my hair at all. I have curly hair and with curls comes frizz. This felt like watery gel to me, and was sticky and just felt horrible, and my hair felt gross. I do like the smell though, it just didn't feel nice in my hair at all and made it look greasey and dirty
I used Garnier Sleek and Shine Anti Frizz Serum for my extremely frizzy hair sometime back and it actually tames frizz and makes hair soft but I just don't like the greasy hair after applying it. I also tried using a pea sized amount but still the result is same.
Tips: I now try to tame my hair using good quality shampoos and conditioner and sometimes a treatment is good too.
When countdown had their fifty percent off sale I picked this up . Whenever I straighten my hair I look for some good serums to put into my hair.
This bottle is a clear green. Has a pumpbottle nozzle. Consistency feels like oil. Has a fresh fruity scent.
I like to comb this through my hair after straightening. It gives my hair shine. At my ends it can feel a bit greasy. After an hour it completely absorbs and disappears. My hair feels softer and easier to comb through.
Overall price wise I think it is slightly overpriced. So far it’s lasted me and few weeks still going. I wasn’t overjoyed by this product. It did work temporarily.
Bought it on sale after a magazine sung its praises but super unimpressed. Just made my hair feel oily and greasy every time I tried it even though I experimented several time with using less. Also found its smell too fake and artificial and strong.
I feel like this is a silicone leave on conditioner. So maybe it is? Have you used 'Merino Lanolin Hair Tonic' or 'Reebonn Leave on Silicone Conditioner' before? Well this feels exactly like those.
The texture feels thick and oily in hand and well..just about the same on the hair of you use too much. The trick is to use less of it. If you think 2 pumps will be enough for your entire length of hair..use just half of that and see how you like it. Or better yet, use only a quarter of that amount and work up from there. Because a little goes a loooong way with this product. And if you use too much you will end up looking like a greasy chicken. Also do not apply this to the roots or anywhere near the roots. Apply it to the ends and half way down the length of the hair. If you use it correctly your hair will end up looking soft, shiny and supply.
Also make sure you wash it off well while you shower because this type of silicone products can build up on the strands, weighing them down.
Tips: Take a little amount of product on to your palms and rub them together to spread the product around evenly. Then lightly take your hands through your hair. Focus more on the ends and do not go anywhere near the roots.
I purchased this as I'm always keen to try anti-frizz products and well, I found the price to be nice and the bottle very convenient to use but all I got out of this was oil that didn't do anything for me except make my hair greasy and smell absolutely gorgeous. I ended up mixing this up with hair conditioner just make it worth using again. Sadly I would never purchase this product again.
