Garnier Sleek & Shine Anti Frizz Serum Review

I have thick , long and frizzy hair and I brought this product because I thought it could be my holy grail to get that sleek and shine i’ve been tryimg to find but it only last about 20 min then poof! The beast was unleashed again. only Positives was like all garneir product they smell nice.

Firstly, it smells quite good but I find it's a bit too oily for my hair. It does make your hair look sleek for about half a day but then it turns into a more oily look. I imagine it would be better for people with drier and frizzier hair than me.

I didnt really like this product i bought in the shopping as my hair has been frizzy for a while and this was affordable. Although it smelt amazing and tamed my frizz it left my hair VERY oily an after i washed my hair that night my hair was very dry. Will not buy again

I purchased this on a whim when I was in need of a hair serum, the packaging is great and easy to use. it fits easily into my draw standing up (so no spills) and the pump is convenient and easy to use.

I have dyed hair which is semi curly and I have a lot of baby hairs. my hair frizzes out when brushed and needs to be tamed!

The actual product is a clear serum with a soft fruit scent, it is not overpowering and smells like a typical garnier product. The serum itself is not thick and one pump is enough for long hair. the serum feels light and not too greasy on palms or hair however it didn't do the trick for my hair, however it did add a shine to my long hair on those in between wash days!

Worked well for slicking back my hair and adding a glossy shine, although you have to be very careful with the amount you use as it can look greasy very fast! Didn’t notice any long term benefits to using, more just instant effects as I used it. Almost felt like it left a film layer over over my hair strands, definitely had to wash out after a day of using. It did make my hair smell great though! Overall, I wouldn’t buy again, but helps with slick hairstyling.

I used this for a while when i was on a budget. For the price, it's really good. It leaves your hair soft and shiney, bit I had expected better fly away control, though it did mildly reduce frizz. For what you pay though, you can't expect brilliance. I definitely get better results with higher end oils or organics.

To begin with this product did give me sleek and shiny hair! But i found that as the day went on my hair got greasy, even if I had just washed it that morning (and that never happens). It did keep the frizz away though even in humid weather.

I found this product didn't deliver on what it claimed, it didn't reduce my frizz and my hair didn't shine..... At least not on it's own anyway.

My hair is coarse, frizzy, wavy/curly, thick and unruly, it is also very dry, brittle and damaged from years of colouring.

After using this product It was soft and manageable albeit still a frizzy fro. The best bit was - that I found that my hair was easier to straighten, or curl and the style lasted twice as long. I found as long as I heat styled after I applied this product I avoided any greasiness when it was dry.

I definitely would buy this product again as a preheat styling product.

Just like the shampoo/conditioner, I used this solely because I liked the scent. It does make your hair shine, and look sleek, and good thing is you only need a little to achieve that, as too much will make your hair look way too oily. Didn't do anything for frizz though- I still needed to use other products to tame the frizz lol! I would use it again only because it smells so yummy!
