I really like this product for adding shine to my hair. My ends tend to get a little dry so this is great to put in and make them look less dry and frazzled. It does tame a little bit of my frizz and fly aways but it isn't exactly a miracle product. I would mostly use this for a little bit of shine. Great for the price you pay :-)

Tips: Use it sparingly as it can get really oily, really fast!
A small amount goes a long way, and it is quite thin for a serum, its a good cheap brand easy to get in the supermarket, too much will make your hair greasy. It comes with a pump bottle so its easy to use, it is an average serum product
Tips: Small amounts, use with fingertips
This product is okay and does give some shine. It just seems rather heavy and sticky. I always had to wash my hands afterwards and when using it I needed to wash my hair daily or it got really greasy looking. If you are going to use it just put a tiny amount in the ends and stay away from the roots.
I have naturally wavy, thick hair. It does work for the first day after I gave straightened my hair, but by the second and third day, my hair actually feels drier even though it looks oily. Has a nice smell, but that also diminishes by the second day. I did not however use the full range of 'sleek and shine' products.
Tips: Make sure you apply it to towel dried hair and only from the mid length down to tips.
I bought this product when my hair was longer and curly to try and tame the slight frizz that came with it as I had heard that products with Argan Oil were amazing for your hair. I gave it a few tries daily for about a week just to make sure it was really getting into my hair but all I found was that the product would sit on top of it leaving my hair looking greasy and too shiny for the rest of the day, not to mention it didn't spread well. The only plus I found to this product was the amazing smell and cheap price so I didn't mind that it wasn't very good.
Tips: Have a wet wipe on hand for afterwards or your hands will feel greasy for the rest of the day.
As much as i loved the smell i found it didnt do well in my super frizzy hair. I felt like it just disappeared as the day went on so id add more and then eventually my hair jist looked greasey and still semi frizzy. I guess itd work for semi straight/wavy hair. But if you have a tonne of small frizzy flyaways like i do then i wouldnt recommend it.
Garnier Sleek & Shine smells amazing in your hair. I use it on occasion but their are other products I prefer first & foremost. If you apply too much product you are only going to look like you have greasy, unwashed hair. The product has changed since it was first introduced a number of years ago. I find that it can leave you with not only a greasy looking finish but also what I call straw like hair (which I personally don't like). A little goes along way & can help to tame unruly wild curly hair such as my own. The bottle size is smaller now than original.
Tips: Use sparingly & would recommend use on dry hair to help tame rather than wet or you will end with hair feeling like straw.
I bought this product at a Farmers sale as I was on the lookout for a frizz-tamer and thought the smell was nice, liked the addition of argan oil, and decided to test it out.
The size is good and I only really need one pump to do all of my hair, but I've found that it makes my hair immediately greasy if I put it in when my hair is dry so I'd really recommend putting it in when your hair is damp.
It doesn't live up to the claim of keeping your hair sleek and shiny for three days, I find that by the second day it makes my hair feel and look heavy and greasy, however it does make my hair feel wonderfully soft and lovely on the day it's applied.
You can't really put it into your roots because it goes greasy very quickly which is annoying for me as I bought it to sleeken my frizzy baby hairs.
It's good for the price but I wouldn't buy it again personally.
When countdown had their fifty percent off sale I picked this up . Whenever I straighten my hair I look for some good serums to put into my hair.
This bottle is a clear green. Has a pumpbottle nozzle. Consistency feels like oil. Has a fresh fruity scent.
I like to comb this through my hair after straightening. It gives my hair shine. At my ends it can feel a bit greasy. After an hour it completely absorbs and disappears. My hair feels softer and easier to comb through.
Overall price wise I think it is slightly overpriced. So far it’s lasted me and few weeks still going. I wasn’t overjoyed by this product. It did work temporarily.
I loved the smell of this serum. Unfortunately it didn't really deal with the frizz, it did how ever make my hair look sleek and shiny, but that's probably more due to the fact that the serum was like a lacquer, so my hair ended up with the 'wet look'.
Tips: I would use it again for the smell.
