Garnier Sleek & Shine Anti Frizz Serum Review

Leaves my hair shiny and frizz free. Also love the smell. It is quite oily though, best not to use too much.

I have dry and frizzy hair so I was looking for a serum to use on my hair after washing to help smooth out the frizz. This works a treat, is absorbed super fast and doesn't feel greasy. If my hair is feeling super rebellious, this can't completely control it but it's great for the touch ups. The price is really good for how good a product this is and the smell is really pleasant (I have a fairly sensitive nose). I would buy again.

I find that this product only works well for me with damp hair. If I put it in my hair when it is dry it just makes it frizzy and it gets oily a lot faster. When I put it in my hair when it is damp it makes it shiny and not frizzy. Have it sitting on my draws and use it every know and then (maybe 2,3-4 times a week).

My hair isn't incrediable thick but it also isnt thin. My hair is naturally quite wavy but I straighten it everyday (almost) and lately in newzealand it has been freezing and there has been enough fog for a life time so you know what that means!!! yup you guessed right, it means that my hair looked a bit like hay :p but anyway on the bottle it says that it is antifrizz and it also says "3 day sleek" and it does almost exactly that and what I mean by almost is that the sleek look doesn't last quite 3 days it last more 2 sometimes 3 if you say inside for most of those days. Not only does this product control your frizz it also provides you with an amazing scent everytime you swish your hair :D what I also like about this product is that it is rather cheap. I would deffinantly buy this product again.

I found this product on sale about a year ago at The Warehouse, and was impressed by it's claims so I decided to give it a go. It doesn't quite live up to all it's claims but it does do a great job on my ends!

This comes in a big green bottle, and I find it is perfectly sized for the price. One of these usually lasts me around 2 months which is impressive!

You dispense it using a pump, and it is good to travel with because you can lock it into place so it won't leak.

This smells like a hair salon, it's great! It is quite greasy in texture, and doesn't really soak into your hair when it's dry so I recommend only using it when your hair is wet.

Every night when I condition my hair I use this JUST ON THE ENDS, and it keeps them great for ages. The ends of my hair are so soft and it helps prevent breakage when combing through my hair!

I will definitely be repurchasing this again, for the price it's just a small staple in my hair care routine.

I feel like this is a silicone leave on conditioner. So maybe it is? Have you used 'Merino Lanolin Hair Tonic' or 'Reebonn Leave on Silicone Conditioner' before? Well this feels exactly like those.

The texture feels thick and oily in hand and well..just about the same on the hair of you use too much. The trick is to use less of it. If you think 2 pumps will be enough for your entire length of hair..use just half of that and see how you like it. Or better yet, use only a quarter of that amount and work up from there. Because a little goes a loooong way with this product. And if you use too much you will end up looking like a greasy chicken. Also do not apply this to the roots or anywhere near the roots. Apply it to the ends and half way down the length of the hair. If you use it correctly your hair will end up looking soft, shiny and supply.

Also make sure you wash it off well while you shower because this type of silicone products can build up on the strands, weighing them down.

The packaging is really attractive and the first thing that caught my eye on the shelf. The product gets rid of the majority of frizz in my hair but doesn't give a 100% sleek and smooth effect. When straightening my hair it does gave me oftness and shine. One has to be very careful how much you apply to your hair as using too much will leave your hair looking greasy. It makes my hair have a really beautiful, natural shine, soft and manageable and really gets rid of some of the frizz. Also it has a very lovely, pleasant smell. As this product is really inexpensive and works relatively well, I would recommend this to my friends

I have wavy dry hair and it gets really frizzy so i bought this product hoping it would help. My hair is long and i find 1 pump to be way too much and leaves my hair an oily mess. This is the type of product i like to use overnight my dry ends can soak it up or when i do use it during the day i like to use it after iv'e curled my hair and i use about half a pump. It is really good for using after iv'e used heat on my hair as that's when my hairs its driest.

I love this product on my wavy/curly hair and even when I straighten it. It took me a while to really figure out how it worked best for me. The scent is great, but it can be easy to put too much product into your hair. I find that this product does last a while as you really don't need much.

There's a reason they've kept it around, I tried this for the first time in my teens (I'm now 31) and it still works as it did then. When I want sleek and straight hair, this is one of the products I use and bonus that the oil smells amazing!
