GHD V Gold Classic Styler Review

I use my GDH almost every day and have been for the last 3 years. Though expensive for a beauty tool it has more than paid it's way with the heavy use and that I cart it around in my gym bag often. I have medium weighted hair straight -ish hair that does tend to frizz at the slightest hint of moisture – it only 5-10 minutes most morning to get it straight and smooth. The GDH is also great for curling hair and the twisty cord and smooth edges make it really easy. I really do rate my GHD and would not want to be without it.

I received this wonderful straightner for my 16th birthday 3 years ago and it is still as good as when I first got them. It is really amazing quality which justifies the price. I have this gold GHD in a bigger size as my hair is quite long and the width helps straighten my hair faster. Smooth and sleek finish, with no frizz yay! plus the straighten will last until next wash !

I absolutely love this hair straightener so much. I love how it's sleek and just the right size for when straightening hair. The thing I love the most about it, is how fast it heats up. It's very easy to use and it can curl your hair to so thats a plus. The packaging the straightener comes in is so girly, very simple and classy. I mean who doesn't love black. I have recommended this straightener to friends, family, work mates and will definetley be buying another when the time comes to. Love, love, love!

OMG... Where has the GHD been all my life is all I can ask! I have the most wiry hair ever! And I have tried a HEAP of straightener's in my lifetime. All of them being fine for an hour and then eventually ending in a puffball later that day! BUT the GHD is amazing! I can straighten my hair and it is STRAIGHT and it stays straight until I wash it next! Awesome invention! Wish they were around when I was at school! LOL

i love love love my GHD's and don't go a day without using them. they heat up super fast and are great for straightening and curling. they tame my frizzy dry hair faster then any other straighteners I've used.

I use my GHD nearly everyday and I remember saving up to get it too. It is my baby. I love how fast it heats up especially being on the go and only have a short amount of time to do my hair in the mornings. It also delivers quality results. I have tried cheaper brands and ended up with frizzy undesired results. I definitely recommend GHD.

These were the first pair of GHDs I owned. Loved everything about them, from the long cord to ability to curl, wave and straighten. Unfortunately they were stolen and I replaced them with a limited edition GHD, which is no where near as good. Limited edition had been replaced 3 times due to dodgy wiring. Never had any problems with the classic though. I have very thick curly hair, and the fact it doesn't have temperature control doesn't bother me, but I can see how this would be an issue for people with thinner hair.

These straightners are not bad however they do not have a temperature function therefor if you have fine hair they tend to burn your hair, these also don't straighten as well as some of the other straighteners on the market.

Before this straightener i had the thick style ghd because my hair is extremely thick so i was quite nervous to try the thin ghd. It ended up being just as easy for my hair and surprisingly doesn't take any longer.

Where to start!? I could not live without my ghds! They're my absolute favourtie thing ever.

I section my hair off when I straighten my hair, much better to work with. And the ghds simply just glide so smoothly across my hair leaving it look silky smooth and healthy!!

I use them for, straightening, curling and styling. If I had to choose one item I couldn't live with out it would by far be my ghds!

I've tried so many brands etc, vs saloon, Phillips, Remington you name it! But they could never ever compare to ghds.

It's well worth the investment.
