Head and Shoulders Clean & Balanced Conditioner

I received this product as part of a BR trial but I have used this product before as well. I think this conditioner does a solid job of conditioning hair after using the shampoo from the same range. This claims to be more effective than a non-anti dandruff conditioner when used with the shampoo but I find the shampoo already does the job pretty well so I prefer to use a more richer conditioner as my hair can be quite dry or frizzy otherwise.

I’ve always had moderate dandruff which is easily kept under control with a pyrithione zinc shampoo. If it gets really bad I opt for T-gel. But I’ve never considered an anti-dandruff conditioner. In my mind it seems superfluous when the shampoo by itself works just fine.

The main ‘smoothing’ ingredient in this product is dimethicone. This is effective initially, but with long term use can weigh down the hair with a silicone coating that prevents moisture from penetrating the hair shaft. So for dry, damaged, or brittle hair this might not work long-term unless you pair it with a deep conditioning treatment too.

I likely won’t buy this again as I am happy with other more intense conditioners, and I’m satisfied that the Head and Shoulders shampoo works well on its own.

This product works perfectly with the anti dandruff shampoo.

It comes in a small bottle, is a thick white consistency and I didn't really notice and scent.

Simply massage into the mid-ends of your hair, leave for afew minutes and rinse thoroughly.

This product leaves your hair tangle and dandruff free.

I would recommend this brand.

When I first opened the bottle and smelt the conditioner I instantly knew this was going to be great. The smooth texture of the conditioner easily lathered on my hair. It made my hair feel silky smooth once applied. Once washed out it made my hair so refreshed. It was easier to brush my hair as I normally have a few knots in my hair from having highlights. You could still smell how clean my hair was from the conditioner which i don't normally get from other products. My hair looked so clean and shiny after this. Highly recommend and will definitely continue to use.

I really enjoyed using this conditioner. It has a lovely thick formula and I found that it went through my hair very easily. When I wash my hair is the only time I comb through it with my fingers, and it was very easy to do with this conditioner. After washing the conditioner out, my hair was incredibly silky feeling. The only thing that marks this product down for me is that, when my hair dried, it was left quite fluffy. I haven't found this with many other conditioner products that I've used. I just left my hair natural, but the fluffiness may have been combated with a followup product like a cream or spray. Overall, if you're looking for something to help with dandruff and aren't after a frilly conditioner, this does the job!

I’ve always thought anti dandruff conditioners would be really thick and heavy and would leave my hair oily and feeling gross. Oh boy was I WRONG The conditioner is a thick consistency and it moisturises my hair without leaving it feeling heavy or oily. It leaves my hair feeling soft, smooth and fresh. This conditioner works really well for my dry and frizzy hair that is highly unmanageable & a little damaged. When used with the matching shampoo it left my hair with reduced dandruff, a clean feeling and smooth and silky texture.

After using the shampoo.. i was pleasantly surprised with how little conditioner was needed. It has made my hair feel so silky and so smooth.. this has also helped make my hair feel thicker than it usually is. The cleanliness I felt in my hair afterwards.. and in the days following after using it.. it like nothing I've experienced before. My hair isn't has frizzy as it has been either. I will now be using this conditioner along with the shampoo for the foreseeable future. I highly recommend this conditioner as it does everything it says and more!

I have shoulder length hair which is easier for me to untangle. This conditioner leaves my hair hydrated and easy to style. I recommend it for its price and quality. It has a pleasant and smooth aroma. Its texture is less thick than shampoo. It is white. It comes out easily from the bottle, I had no problem using it.

Wow! My hair looks beautiful and silky. I was worried it would dry it out or leave it frizzy but it didn't. A little goes a long way. My dandruff has already improved after 3 washes

Thanks to BR for sending me this to review. The same as the shampoo, this has regular Head and Shoulders packaging, but it feels sufficiently robust to withstand dropping it in the shower a couple of times. The scent of this product is really nice, and it's unisex the same as the shampoo.

I was really surprised that the conditioner advised to use it massaged into the scalp, and not just through the lengths of the hair (what I normally do). I followed the instructions for proper review purposes, and was really surprised that, far from leaving my hair feeling heavy, and weighed-down at the scalp (my previous experiences of conditioner on my scalp), it left my scalp with the clean feeling from the shampoo, but also left my hair super soft until the next wash.

I'm really impressed with this conditioner.
