Head and Shoulders Clean & Balanced Regime Reviews

I really really like Head and Shoulders and I have been using this range for a long time. The shampoo keeps my my hair feeling clean and flake-free and the conditioner from this range does a great job at moisturising the hair without weighing the hair down. Overall, it does what it's meant to, has a light and pleasant scent, so I'll continue to keep buying this range.

This shampoo is designed to be used daily without altering your scalp. Well, I think it delivers on this promise. Its formula is very thick, has a mild, non-chemical odour, and foams with a little application. I recommend having it for at least a minute doing a gentle massage on the scalp and then washing it as usual. The feeling is a little taut on the hair, but then when using the conditioner from the same line, the hair feels very soft and detangled. The thinnest conditioner smells good and does its job. My hair feels clean, smooth, and shiny. And I could say that it looks hydrated. Also notice that my hair is clean it lasted me more than a day. When using it again it was fine, like the first time clean and smooth. I recommend it to use it daily if you feel you need it, you can alternate washing days at your convenience. The packaging seems adequate to me and it has a good grip. It clearly distinguishes what the shampoo and conditioner are. Its price seems very accessible to me. If I will continue using it.

Head and Shoulders is of course the OG in supermarket brand dandruff control. I’ve always had dandruff, and I know that H&S truly works to ease the irritation and flakiness.

This regime is much the same as all their other products. The active ingredients work. The smell is fresh and clean. It is affordable.

Personally I only use this on my scalp because it is quite drying on the ends. The main ‘smoothing’ ingredient is dimethicone, which is effective but with long term use can weigh down the hair with a silicone coating which prevents actual moisture from penetrating the hair shaft. So for dry, damaged, or brittle hair this might not work long-term unless you pair it with a deep conditioning treatment too.

Shampoo: I found that the shampoo lathered really well and that a little went a long way. When washing it out though, my hair felt a little sticky, although this was soon remedied after using the conditioner. Conditioner: The conditioner is a lovely thick formula and easily went through my thick hair. It immediately left my hair feeling really soft after washing it out. As a pair: I enjoyed using these products in the shower with wet hair, however, I found that when my hair dried, it was quite fluffy. I have quite thick, curly hair anyway, but noticed that it was quite a bit fluffier than other brands of shampoo and conditioner I have used. In regards to its anti-dandruff qualities, I did notice that my hair looked very clean and didn't notice any flaking in my scalp, like I sometimes can. In that way, I liked it! Overall, it's a pretty simple shampoo and conditioner, with no extra frills, but should be considered if dandruff is your main concern.

I didnt really know what to expect. Its not the shampoo and conditioner id buy when I go shopping.. but now i am convinced that I've needed this all along! First up.. you don't need as much in the hand as other shampoos.. its thick and creamy and definitely goes a long way.

The way my hair felt during washing.. was completely different than I had been used to. It made my hair feel thicker.. which is a bonus because I have fine hair. But even afterwards, brushing my wet hair was a lot easier than my normal shampoo etc.

Once my hair had dried naturally I noticed a significant decrease in fluffiness.. something I have an issue with.. my hair tends to fly outwards making it look all bushy etc but this had it calmed down and I love the way it looked from the get go. Usually I start liking my hair 2-3 days after I've washed it.

I will now be using this shampoo/conditioner for the foreseeable future as I am genuinely amazed at what wonders it has done for my hair.

This product is a great combination.

It comes in a small bottle, is a thick white consistency and I didn't really notice and scent.

Use this product like you would any normal shampoo and conditioner. This product leaves your hair tangle and dandruff free. After three washes my hair had visible less dandruff and no longer itchy either flakes.

I would recommend this brand but I really do wish they would make larger bottles as I have a big family and these are too little for us.

Loved trialling these products. It did wonders for my hair and made it feel and smell so clean and refreshed. I loved the aroma from both the shampoo and conditioner. I could still smell my hair after it was all rinsed out and dry. This definitely reduced the flakes (dandruff) in my hair and made it feel less itchy. Would highly recommend using both products together for best results.

So I’ve always thought there was a bit of a stigma having Head and Shoulders shampoo & conditioner hanging out in your bathroom where everyone can see it and judge you. No one wants people to think ewwww she’s got dandruff. (Which they don’t by the way - but sometimes you get a silly notion in your head and it won’t go away.) But never again will I be embarrassed to display my Head & Shoulders! I am a convert, it has stopped my head from itching, the fine dandruff that I had has gone after only 2 washes! And the best bit it gives you a deep clean without stripping your hair, it leaves your hair feeling beautifully soft and smelling amazing.

Wow! I was a bit worried about this shampoo and conditioner drying my hair out it it's done the opposite. My hair feels soft and there has definitely been less flakey skin dropping down. The smell of the duo is pleasant and a little goes a long way!
