This shampoo left my hair feeling really clean, I get very oily roots and normally have to shampoo it a few times but only had to shampoo once using this product. It has a pleasant smell and great package size.

I found this shampoo has a creamy consistency with a delightful fragrance to it. It comes in a 400ml easy to handle plastic bottle with a flip top lid for easy access. You apply a generous amount and massage it into your hair and then rinse it out. As you rinse it out you can feel how clean the strands of hair are. I would definetly recommend this shampoo.
Tips: This along with the matching conditioner give amazing results. Well worth giving it a try.
This shampoo comes with many aspects to recommend it. Firstly it comes in a large 400ml bottle so it will last for a while. The colour and branding are bright and attractive. The bottle is a hard plastic flip top, so is very easy to grip, open, and use without spillage. It has no colorants which is ideal for not discolouring my white hair.
The product is a thick white lotion in texture and has an absolutely delicious sweet scent.
I tried this product this first night it arrived, then tried it again two days later. The first night I loved the feel of it in my hair, and my hair felt clean and fragrant afterwards. But my hair was crinkly and frizzy afterwards. So making allowances for potentially leaving it drying in the towel too long, I kept and open mind about using it again. The second time it was a little frizzy but better than the first use. The product claims to purify and protect hair so that it will be soft and free flowing. I agree my hair does feel soft and free flowing so in that sense it meets the claim. It doesn't claim to reduce frizziness so any frizziness I have cannot really be held against the product, but more that it is the nature of my hair.
So from my experience so far I'd say overall that it is a very good product in terms of doing what it says it will do. It may not be the best choice for my particular hair. However, I am keen to track the results from the next couple of usages because I was expecting it to be great based on the ingredients that are included and those that were not included, so time will tell.
I would recommend it to others to try because it does have a lot of positives that may work well for people with less fine hair.
Tips: Use with the conditioner for best result.
I love the smell of this! It left my hair nice and soft and smelt soooo good! Also love the size of the product!
I am so excited to be in this trial group since with winter my hairs look dull and it was time to change care products. I haven't seen this brand before and so far I am loving it. The shampoo comes in pretty packaging, I like the colors and it's eye catching. The price is affordable- $11.99 It's 400 ml which personally for me is enough for few weeks. Most of all I like the scent. I can't exactly describe it but it is a mix of citrus, vanilla and some exotic spices. My hairs smell quite lovely after wards. I love how nicely this shampoo lathers and washes of easily. After using it my hairs look shiny and with healthy glow. I have used couple of times so can't comment on long term results but so far my hairs look healthy. The ingredients are quite good too without parabens. he shampoo is great for damaged skin, is pH balanced and safe for colour treated hair.
This review is on Herbal Essences Bio-Renew Repair Shampoo with argan oil. I received this shampoo and conditioner to review (thanks BeautyReview!!). I have placed separate reviews for the shampoo, conditioner, and product system as a whole.
My hair is fine, straight, a little on the dry / dehydrated side, and has some damage but isn't terrible.
The packaging is an attractive teal colour with pretty floral designs on it, I think it's going to look great in my bathroom. It's the typical Herbal Essences design with a flip-top lid that's easy to open and securely close.
The shampoo is white and pearlescent, with a light fresh smell (reminds me a bit of Radox). It's a nice thick texture and easy to dispense. It works up to a generous lather and rinses out easily. My hair felt clean and light after rinsing. I followed up with the matching conditioner and have reviewed that separately.
Ultimately after drying my hair I felt that my hair was limp and dull. On repeat use I found the same thing. Unfortunately this product did not work well for my hair so I wouldn't purchase it in future.
Lovely shampoo, enjoyable to use. Lathers well, smells delicious and leaves hair feeling soft and strong. My hair has felt super strong since using it.
Tips: You need less than you think - a 20 cent sized piece was enough to cover my very long hair.
I really loved this shampoo for my fine, coloured, curly, frizzy hair. I only needed to shampoo once to feel that my hair was clean of hair products I had used. It was gentle, leaving my hair feeling hydrated and smooth, not tangled like a lot of others I've used before. It smelt absolutely amazing and left a beautiful scent in hair all day. I'll definitely be using this shampoo again and highly recommend it to others to use.
After using this for the last few days my daughter has said can we buy this one from now on! Smells amazing. Doesn't need a second wash. Leaves hair feeling fuller.
Tips: Even though it says to use a generous amount on the bottle you dont really need much. It goes a long way
I really like this range. I trialled the products on myself - short style, going-grey, fine hair, and also my daughter, long, curly, crazy blonde/auburn hair!
The scent of the whole range is lovely - the shampoo leans to the vanilla/spice, type of scent - the vanilla the most prominent scent for me. It's really lovely, and a relaxing, pleasant smell for the hair routine.
The bottles themselves are an easy-squeezy type of bottle with an easy flip lid, so very easy to get enough product out without trying to open/squeeze/dispense with one hand. Packaging/branding is nice - this range, a teal colour bottle. I do like that their rectangle bottles sit nicely on my shower shelf compared to other shapes/brands for shampoo/conditioner.
The shampoo lathers really easily, and is a thick lather. Rinses out easily. My hair can feel quite course post-shampoo, before conditioner, but this product certainly made my shampoo'd hair feel softer - even before conditioner, and it definitely removed the hairspray/styling product build up easily.
While quite sudsy, I was impressed that it didn't appear to strip my hair completely and leave it feeling straw-like or course. While I need conditioner for my hair, the shampoo does a good job on its own too.
My little girls hair responded well to the shampoo as well. No complaints on the scent, or using the product. Her hair appeared less 'knotty' with just the shampoo compared to others I've used. A good performer for the whole household.
