I think the only reason we love this shampoo is for the smell It's totally drying like a detergent in my hair and yet a continuously used it for years. An old classic with yes, a great smell but it's not enough for me.

The smell takes you back to the first HE ads....its lather very easily, less is almost more but I did feel it was rather harsh on my hair. Dried it out a lot. Smell lasts ages though
Tips: Use with matching conditioner to get long last smell.
While I love the scent, this stuff makes my head itch SO bad! My daughter uses it and loves it though.
This is definitely one of those shampoos that reminds you of your childhood - and those childhood ads! haha Herbal Essence has always been known to have such amazing smelling products, which stay smelling good for aaaages. I do find though, and I mean no disrespect when I say this, it is a pretty average shampoo. Smells good, lathers up ok (you do kinda need a little more than usual), it dries my hair out but not enough to be annoyed. I wouldnt use this as an everyday product but it isnt bad :)
This is a classic product and the packaging is great. The pump makes it easy to dispense the right amount of product and it smells fruity, like a smoothie. The shampoo easily lathers and cleans my hair well, and is easy to rinse out. The scent also lasts in my hair and I would repurchase!
I love that they brought back the old classic, the smell is memorizing and takes me back to my aunts' bathroom. Although the smell catches me, it leaves my hair feeling dry. It's great for old times' however once in a blue moon is enough me.
When I think of this shampoo I immediately remember the old herbal essence commercial on tv. Yes I was a sucker and fell for it lol This was one of the first products I tried from this brand. I can easily find this at any supermarket or chain store but for a while there I couldn't find it but I believe it has returned to stores again. Now theres more variety of hair care choices within this brand now.
This shampoo is used for coloured hair. Ive always coloured my hair but for a while there I stopped to restore my hair for a bit. The consistency its like a clear pink liquid. This scent reminds me of fresh fruits with floral notes .
I find this shampoo easy to lather throughout my hair. I do noticed that the colour in my hair rinses out with each wash. I normally use this shampoo with conditioner. I like pairing products together. The conditioner softens my hair and makes my hair feel soft and clean.
Would I use this again , yes I would. Its an old favourite of mine . I believe its priced reasonably.
The classic herbal I like this because it smells wonderful and rose hip oil is known for ant-aging properties vitamin E is good for skin too and the oil in this is a carrier oil so it does not just sit on the surface and look shiny it penetrates. I hope that this are good for hair as well as skin! I am not too sure that this is very hydrating as a shampoo but it gives you a luxurious feel and classic rose smell which lasts in your hair it does later well which can be a pro if you are looking to get bang for your buck but it also means it has alot of the laurel sulphate in it which is what will strip your hair of its natural oils it will give you a nice clean feeling though and I would re buy.
Didn't use the shampoo nearly as much as I did the conditioner, as it increases frizz and volume. Overall cleanses well and smells devine, cost effective great size, fresh and vibrant
If it can be vogue to use a certain brand of shampoo and conditioner there was a time when I gave into this trend. I fell in love with this brand from the first sniff. All my friends were emerging from the shower with gorgeously floral scented hair and I had to have a set of this! I bought the the Classic One which smelt amazing but being into washing my hair quite often, plus dealing with a sweaty scalp I soon discovered that I should go for a moisturizing shampoo and conditioner. And that's when I became the proud owner of a shampoo and conditioner set of this pink floral scented, hair aromatherapy. This shampoo left my hair not as dry or stripped as the Classic one and with a huge, half litre bottle I could suds up my hair in as much floral aromatherapy as I wanted and I did just that. Now that we confirmed how much I liked the scent let's discuss the pros and cons. The pros were it was cheap, the scent was ahmazing and it lingered as my hair dried and my hair wasn't as dried out as some other brands of shampoo I have used. I felt clean and gorgeous. The half litre bottle lasted me for aages even if I used it every other day and suds my long locks in the gorgeous, scented lather. The downside is the gorgeous, scented foam that I loved is the result of Sodium Laureth Sulfate which later learned dries out my hair. I've used other shampoos and while they may not smell as ahmazing and even cost more and come in smaller bottles my hair likes them better and my tresses aren't as dry and my scalp doesn't get as oily as fast and definitely less flakey. When I used to use shampoos with sulfates and a bunch of other sweet, scented chemicals I used to think that an itchy, flakey scalp was just part of life and having a head of hair. Since I switched to sulfate free shampoos my hair isn't as dry and my scalp is happier. I would however recommend this to ladies (because I don't think guys would like to smell like this) who don't mind sulfate laced shampoo and don't want to spend much on hair care but still want a touch of luxury, a bit of hair aromatherapy if you will. However, if you are out to target specific scalp or hair problems or like more natural, sulfate free shampoos you are better off getting a specific shampoo to target that.
Tips: If you are after something that smells ahmazing and is cheap, you don't mind sulfates and perhaps your guy steals your hair care this is a good buy.
