Herbal Essences BioRenew Hydrating Coconut Milk Conditioner

Trialed this conditioner while I was on holiday with the shampoo was great consistency and smelt amazing. Very easy to use and the bottles were easy to travel with My hair is long and curly but didn’t use a lot of conditioner like other products Would definitely buy again as good value for money

A nice, thick creamy white conditioner with a lovely coconutty floral scent. Out of the shampoo and conditioner, i think i adore this scent a little bit more as it’s different to the common vanillary-coconut scent i have smelled in the past. You don’t need much at all. A small dollop is all you need to massage through the soft, and untangled shampooed hair.

The conditioner smoothes out and hydrates the hair well. I didn’t feel much heavy sticky residue after blow drying, which is something i always hope for in a hair product, so it doesn’t weigh down my long hair like a floor mop.

After drying; My hair felt soft, healthy, smooth and hydrated, and i could still smell the linger of that lovely scent if i had a sniff at my hair the next day.

The next day although my hair doesn’t feel as silky smooth as when just finished washing, it was still nice and soft to the touch.

Looking forward to trying other products in this Herbal essences’ series.

I liked this conditioner very much. A little goes a long way on my short, fine hair. It smells subtly of coconut, and feels like it hydrates and untangles my hair nicely. My hair is fine and fragile so I like a lightweight conditioner that detangles so it's easy to comb. My daughter has long thick hair so she likes a conditioner that makes her hair smooth and silky and detangles. We both like this conditioner and will buy it again.

I was really excited to be part of this trial, thanks BR! I love Herbal Essence products so had high hopes going into this trial. I love the packaging, it is something that would draw me in if I saw it on the shelf.

Now when I heard the word coconut I thought ohhhhh this is going to smell amazing and the description said experience the multi-layered scents of vibrant coconut, a bouquet of white florals and vanilla. Well when I took a whiff I was not excited, it does not smell like coconut at all, the scent is quite sweet and sickly, I don't like it much at all.

Consistency wise it is nice and thick, I use a big dollop in my long hair and let it sit while I go about my shower. I get no colour wash out at all with this. It washes out easily and my hair feels tangle free and smooth.

Once dry my hair was super shiny and did feel hydrated. It had significantly less frizz and looked healthy. I quite like how it makes my hair feel. However I disliked the matching shampoo and I do like to use a matching set so I wouldn't purchase this myself. I also wish it smelled better!

I have been using the Herbal Essences Coconut Milk Moisturising Conditioner daily for the last week and here are my thoughts.

The smell is divine and lasts forever, coconut and vanilla make a match made in Heaven.

It left my hair soft and silky as well as hydrated. Maybe slightly weighted but not heavy. Perfect for frizzy hair.

I thoroughly enjoyed the routine as a whole and will continue to use going forward.

This conditioner smells absolutely amazing and reminds me of an old school sun tan lotion. Using it makes me feel like I am holiday and washing the sand off myself after a day at the beach. This conditioner is of a medium density and is easy to squeeze out of the bottle. Although it didn’t take much to condition my short hair, I prefer a thicker conditioner. The matching shampoo is quite volumnising which I don’t need, so a thicker conditioner would’ve helped to weigh my hair down a bit more. I didn’t use any serum after towel drying my hair and my hair seemed less frizzy than usual.

I’ll continue to use this conditioner because I love the smell so much. I can’t see me purchasing this though as I usually use bar conditioners and the bulky packaging of this just takes up too much room in the shower. I’ll probably still pick it up and sniff it every day even when I’m not using it though!

The conditioner comes in a brown plastic bottle with an easy to open lid. I like the style of the bottle and it sat well on my wire shower rack but I wasn't overly fussed on the colour of the bottle as prefer something bright. On opening the smell of coconut is apparent but not too overpowering, which I like. The conditioner is a nice thick consistency and easy to squeeze out the amount you need. I have shoulder length hair and only needed a small amount of conditioner probably a twenty cent size blob was fine for me. The conditioner spread nicely thru my hair and comb could go thru my hair easily with just a few tangles. Conditioner rinsed out easily and didn't feel like there was any residue left and my hair felt lovely and soft afterwards. After towel drying my comb went thru my hair easily with just the odd tangle which always happens with my hair. I love that this has 0% colourants in it. Overall even tho I only had a short amount of time to review I am impressed and can't wait to carry on using to see further results.

One of the promises of the bio:renew component is soft, free flowing hair. I tend to find that the conditioner is where any signs of softness seem to come from, and in the time period of the trial, I have not seen any increased softness, but because these things can happen over time, I will come back and add a note if I see any change after this trial period. The same can be said about hydration,

All in all, it performed like pretty much every other conditioner I've encountered, nice on their hair while wet but no lasting effects once washed and dried.

The main thing I noted was that I liked that the conditioner was upright instead of sitting on it's lid like most conditioners.
