Herbal Essences Long Term Relationship Shampoo

As others have mentioned the pomegranate scent is amazing, I can’t really speak for the damage repair aspect but it does a good job of rinsing out hair product whilst not stripping it completely. It’s also really affordable (I think it was $3 on special at PakNSave when I bought it) all in all I’d definitely recommend it.

Is a decent product, smells nice, doesn't sting if it gets in your eyes, would definitely use again. Needs to be used w the conditioner for the best result

I recently picked up this duo conditioner and shampoo combo up from Countdown . They had them going for $3 a bottle. Thought I’d pick up this bargain.

Packaging comes in a red bottle small sized has bright labelling . Consistency is creamy and white in colour. Has a fresh floral scent that’s sweet smelling .

Application is easy to apply and lathers up easily in my hair . I notice that it cleans my hair well and makes my hair feel soft afterwards.

Overall I think this shampoo was good at cleaning my hair . I couldn’t notice any change in my damage towards my hair was still the same . I can’t see myself repurchasing this in the near future. It did smell awesome though.

I managed to pick the Shampoo and Conditioner up for $3.50 each at Pak n Save which is 3x cheaper than the regular Shampoo and conditioner I buy, I had read so many great reviews about the new Herbal essence range so was looking forward to giving these a go.

I chose the Long term relationship range as my hair is dry and the ends have seen better days. It suggested that it could strengthen the damage so I was very optimistic to see the changes. The beetroot colored bottles are very pretty, and the scent is incredible, the pomegranate fragrance is strong but in a nice way. I am intoxicated by the smell, I've never had a shampoo smell so good!

After wetting my hair I apply a small dollop of shampoo to my fingers and massage this into my scalp, it creates a lot of bubbles and a small amount goes a long way, otherwise I spend a long time trying to rinse the shampoo out. It gives my scalp a good clean without it drying out too much. I haven't seen any changes to my hair other than the cleanliness and scent, my hair is still dry.

I will be repurchasing this because my household loves this but I need to purchase something else (for myself) that can also strengthen and look after my hair. For the price it is very cheap and affordable.

This shampoo's scent is delicious. I love it! The smell of this product lingers for sometime and I manage to catch it's smell during the day. It makes me feel clean and happy. I have long wavy hair and this shampoo and conditioner does not strip or make my hair dry. It makes my hair have less fly aways and frizz than other hair shampoos and conditioners I use. The size of the bottle has decreased however and because I use a lot of shampoo and conditioner I don't buy it as much as I used to. I think this is an affordable product.

However, it didn't clean my hair very well and left some build up which I really didn't like. It is also quite a gluggy consistency.

Overall I was pretty disappointed, I really wanted to like this shampoo because of the smell. But I won't repurchase this product again and I don't even want to finish off the bottle.

The packaging is bright red and super fun. It's also a quirky shape and the lid means you can store it upside down to get all the product out.

The shampoo itself is a pink colour and smells of berries and actually lasts - I got compliments on how great my hair smelt after using it! It lathers quite well and I find that it washes my hair well too and I haven't experienced the heaviness of it as some of the other girls have. It cleans my hair well and leaves it feeling soft and silky smooth. I can't attest to the split end repair though, because I still have as many split ends as previously.

Overall, I love the scent and it does a good job at cleaning my hair so I will repurchase.

I bought this because it was on special and I am trying to grow my hair out so I gave it a go. I love love love the smell, light and fruity. I wasn't much of a fan of the glugyness and was expecting to go through the bottle really quickly, but a small amount with a bit of water lathers up nicely so it is going to last me longer than I expected. I feel like it cleans my hair without really stripping it and drying it out, but I think by the time I get to the end of the bottle I might be getting left with that build up you get from some shampoos. I have yet to see any improvement in my hair, it doesn't seem stronger or any less frizzy. It's a nice enough shampoo but it doesn't really do what it says it will.

Personally I wouldn't use the shampoo again, it is too glugy and I don't it massages in to the hair that well, it smells amazing but I don't think it really washed my hair as good as I would of expected after using the conditioner and then trying out the shampoo and conditioner together. It made my hair feel like hay and personally I wouldn't go out and buy this product for myself but I would use it if it was gifted or brought for me.

The packaging matches the conditioner and describes the ingredients and matches the smell, the name "long term relationship" is flirty and fun, but personally wouldn't use it again.

I had to pick this up one time when my usual shampoo was sold out.

The packaging was what you would expect from a supermarket shampoo. It was plastic, red and matched the raspberries it was supposed it smell like. I liked the name of 'Long Term Relationship' I had a wee giggle about that when I was looking at one to buy and settled on it as I just needed one to get me through until my regular was back in stock. I also enjoyed the scent. It was pleasant and smelt like raspberries in a chemically type of way. The shampoo itself had a light red tinge to it.

The first use I didn't really notice anything. It wasn't till the second or third time that I noticed it was not washing my hair properly at all! My hair looked like an oil slick and this shampoo was not adding in any shine or removing any excess oil. It just got worse every single time I used it. As soon as I went back to my normal shampoo my hair returned (slowly may I add) to it's original condition.

This shampoo did absolutely nothing for my hair and made it look like I hadn't washed my hair in weeks, in reality I had washed it every other day.

I would not repurchase again.
