InStyler Rotating Hot Iron Hair Styler
It's not a brush. It's not a flat iron. It's not a curling iron. It's the InStyler® rotating hot iron!
The InStyler rotating hot iron is a totally new styling and straightening tool unlike any hair styling product ever invented!
The secret to the InStyler iron lies in its rotating heated polishing cylinder, along with four rows of precision-aligned bristles.
Here's how it works when you run the InStyler rotating hot iron through your hair, the first set of bristles gently sort and separate your hair strands. Then the rotating heated polishing cylinder gently glides over your hair, smoothly polishing, straightening, and styling each strand. Finally, the second set of bristles puts the finishing touch on your hair, leaving you with shiny, silky, hair! It's truly amazing!
And the best part is, because of the InStyler rotating hot iron's patented design, your hair won't get smashed and baked by the super-intense heat of a flat iron or other "hot" tools. In fact, the InStyler rotating hot iron uses less heat than traditional hot tools, and delivers better results. How? Because the InStyler rotating hot iron's gentle heat in conjunction with the rotating motion of the polishing cylinder literally polishes your hair strands individually so it doesn't need extreme heat to get amazing results.
Your hair will be shinier, bouncier and full of lift and life!
Plus, the InStyler rotating hot iron does so much more than any styling tool out there. Get lift and fullness – right from the root! Get a sexy flip in seconds. Straighten even the toughest, most coarse hair – and still get fullness and style without the stick-straight "flatness" of a flat iron. Do a full style in 8 minutes – and change it again in two minutes! Wrap your hair around the rotating polishing cylinder – and get an amazing curl that lasts all day!
If you can hold it, you can do it with the InStyler rotating hot iron!

After using the rotating iron, i would never go back to using a flat iron. The instyler i havent used but i have used which is the exact same this except you can also use it on wet hair to instantly straighten without blowdrying. Because of having curly hair i find it helpful as blow drying makes my hair frizzy so being able to straighten it while its damp from tge shower is a life saver. I feel like it doesnt really cut time nor is it faster because you have to feed each section through slowly for a nice and smooth finish. I do find it easier to use due to the fact there is a heat gard so i dont burn myself. I really like this product but i do reccomend doing your research before hand to make sure you will like it as much as i do.
Tips: Run the hot barrel over the top side of your roots first
Let your hair glide through slowly as going too fast will just make your hair frizz out because of brushes on the sides.
I don't straighten my hair often, but when hubby and I went out for dinner on my birthday I decided it called for pretty hair. I had washed my hair the night before and left it to dry during the day. I used a heat protectant spray and then dove in, so to speak. It is pretty simple to use, push the power button until the light bar is at the level you want it on (I used the lowest setting since my hair is quite fine). Then I just started sectioning my hair and running the instyler through my hair, which lovely results. My hair was straight and smooth, exactly what I was hoping for.
My daughter wanted her hair done as well, so I was playing around with it and tried to use the curling feature - no matter what I did I couldn't get it to curl her hair. So I don't know if there's something I didn't understand, but it didn't work for me. I wouldn't really be using it for curling so I'm happy with this product.
Have owned one of these in the past to trial, just because it looked decent on television.
This styler was absolute rubbish for my hair type (I have fine strands of hair that has a lot of curl and wave) I found that even though I constantly brushed my hair (so that it was smooth) before putting it through the bristles and clamping down the rotating iron, I still had bunches of hair that just got caught up/tangled in the bristles which made the "brush" part pretty much pointless (because there was always so much hair build up in it).
Because of all of the heat emanating from the iron the bristles on the brush also melted slightly outward to almost give the appearance of an over-used toothbrush.
I would absolutely not recommend this product to any person who had curly hair.
So I ended up with 2 of these as I bought them through the infomercial. Glad I did, it became my go to when I needed to wash and straighten out my frizzy hair without going to the salon. The only down side of the product is after a few times it did not clamp tight enough, seemed to wear really quickly and eventually the brushes on either side came off. Glad I had the second one!
Tips: Use a heat protector spray to protect your hair as it gets extremely hot.
I bought this heat styling tool because I wanted to try something different to the straightener. The thing I did like about this is that it didn't make my hair feel crispy at the ends and was easy to curl my ends inwards or have them curled away from my face. It did smooth out my hair nicely as well. I hated getting burnt using this as it would heat up really hot and getting burnt was not fun at all! I found that it was noisy as well which I didn't really like either. You definitely had to brush out all the small knots and tangles before using this. Overall it did give smooth, soft results but getting burnt, I wasn't a fan of this.
Tips: Be careful not to get burnt using this styling tool
I think the inStyler is great. My mum gave me one for my birthday and i fell in love with it straight away. It wotked really well on my hair as well but i dnt know wethers its beacuse i have really fine hair or not but my mum jas really thick hair and it works on her hair but it just takes longer to achieve her desired results. For me it left my hair shiney and silky and stayed like that most of the day without product in it. It also lasted me about a year before i started to smell that old iron smell. I would reccomend this product to people with thin hair as it would work better and faster then on thicker hair.
Tips: Use it on dry hair with no product and add product after you instyle your hair
I had brought this for myself when his product fist advertised on television. It was recommended for all type hair except that when I received my in style and was going to use it first time round it didn't seem to go as plan.i was very so waning to find a easier way to straighten you hair but this product had just seem to make money hair worse as it was not propyl rotating trough my ex tired hair it was not heating up to its full potential of a in styler and yet took me a few hours to straighten th hole head of hair of mine, was defiantly not impressed and was not tempted at all to be another set
Tips: Not made for textured thick hair
My mother in law gave me this one year for Christmas- to me it seemed very gimmicky and I would never have purchased it myself. It was very tricky and awkward to use. My hair got tangled and stuck multiple times to the point where I had a panic attack, it was so stuck and it was hot and I thought my hair would burn. Upon giving it another more careful go I found it took forever to straighten or even just smooth out my hair - it was never completely straight and it seemed like so much work for the same results I could get with a hairdryer and irons in half the time. Just another gimmicky appliance that takes up too much cupboard space. I have since passed it on to a friend.
Tips: Save space and use your existing hair styling appliances instead.
I was given this as a 21st present 3 years ago and I still use it.
I find that it's not as harsh on my hair, especially with a heat protectant, even when I'm using it often, although I also find that there are things it struggles to do that a traditional straightener can do easily like getting in to the roots and precise curls. Although the add shows it creating curls, it's quite difficult to do because the barrel is always moving so you can't hold the hair in place long enough for the curl to form, and because it doesn't get as hot at other stylers, I finds curls don't hold very long.
This product is great for people who have thick hair like me because since the brush gets at knows and also evenly distributes the hair over the barrel, you can do larger sections of hair at a time, shortening straitening time.
While there are a couple of kinks to straighten out, I am still very happy with mine and will continue to use it.
Tips: Use the InStyler for an initial straitening as it is quicker than any other tool I've used, but if you want dead straight hair, finish of with a straightener, and if you want curls, finish off with a straightener or a curling iron.
If you want more body to your hair, hold the barrel at the root for a bit, pull down gently to the roots and twist for a loose curl then fluff up the hair with your fingers for a relaxed full-bodied style.
