me and my sister in-law brought the two for one deal on tv, after talking about it for a while, if we really wanted to or not. so when we finally got it in the mail, we pulled them out and tryed them. now i have long thick hair and my sister in-law has mid thin hair, and we both hated them! yes it does make your hair feel nicer than a hot straighter going thought your hair, but thats about it :( its so big and bulky and you easily burn yourself. i tried curling with it once, and never again! i still have this product and only use it maybe once every 2months when my hair isnt feeling the best and dried out, but only if i really need to.

InStyler Rotating Hot Iron Hair Styler
It's not a brush. It's not a flat iron. It's not a curling iron. It's the InStyler® rotating hot iron!
The InStyler rotating hot iron is a totally new styling and straightening tool unlike any hair styling product ever invented!
The secret to the InStyler iron lies in its rotating heated polishing cylinder, along with four rows of precision-aligned bristles.
Here's how it works when you run the InStyler rotating hot iron through your hair, the first set of bristles gently sort and separate your hair strands. Then the rotating heated polishing cylinder gently glides over your hair, smoothly polishing, straightening, and styling each strand. Finally, the second set of bristles puts the finishing touch on your hair, leaving you with shiny, silky, hair! It's truly amazing!
And the best part is, because of the InStyler rotating hot iron's patented design, your hair won't get smashed and baked by the super-intense heat of a flat iron or other "hot" tools. In fact, the InStyler rotating hot iron uses less heat than traditional hot tools, and delivers better results. How? Because the InStyler rotating hot iron's gentle heat in conjunction with the rotating motion of the polishing cylinder literally polishes your hair strands individually so it doesn't need extreme heat to get amazing results.
Your hair will be shinier, bouncier and full of lift and life!
Plus, the InStyler rotating hot iron does so much more than any styling tool out there. Get lift and fullness – right from the root! Get a sexy flip in seconds. Straighten even the toughest, most coarse hair – and still get fullness and style without the stick-straight "flatness" of a flat iron. Do a full style in 8 minutes – and change it again in two minutes! Wrap your hair around the rotating polishing cylinder – and get an amazing curl that lasts all day!
If you can hold it, you can do it with the InStyler rotating hot iron!

Reviews
The instyler is definitely not my favourite hair straightening/curling tool, and it takes a lot of patience and getting used to. You HAVE to section off your hair into small sections and do it bit by bit, so not ideal for a quick fix or a morning when you're running late for work. When the time is put in however, it does do an amazing job of straightening my hair and leaves it with a shine but it completely strips the volume out of my hair and leaves it very flat (which I happen to like anyway). I can only manage to do big, loose curls with it too, no matter the amount of practice and trial and errors! It also gets VERY hot, even on the low setting, and it has singed off my delicate hair by my bangs/fringe. I think possibly cause my hair is already fragile from years of colouring/bleach, and is very fine hair, so the heat damage certainly doesn't help and breaks the hair off. I can only use this 1-3 times a week or else my hair becomes too dry and brittle-- and this is with me using argan oil and heat protection products before using my instyler. So I still need a regular less damaging straightner for in between, making the instyler kind of pointless. I only gave it a 3/5 for using it again because now I own it, so I'm kind of stuck with it! For the price I paid, I'm not overly impressed.
Tips: If you have long hair or thick hair don't buy it!
When trying this for the first time I loved the results but after using it for a few weeks I noticed my hair started to become dry and dull so I went back to using my straightener and haven't picked up my instyler since. Disappointed.
okay is it just me or is this hairstyling tool really noisey..??? I found that it did an average job of straighning my hair and the noise was way too distracting,
I feel like the InStyler takes too long to heat up and it curl it straighten with it, it takes ages to learn how to do that properly as the barrel turns and can pull the hair away from the barrel
I found the InStyler quite odd to use. It is quite bulky to use and you have to use it quite a few times for it to properly straighten. The bristles were great to 'brush' through my hair as I used it. However, I found that after a while the bristles all bent and weren't very fit for purpose.
My mum recommended this to me because it worked for her, as for myself it didnt do anything amazing. I dont like that it can only be controlled with one hand, i kept burning my hand. I have thick hair and it kept getting caught in the roller. Not a pleasant feeling at all. Because i have thick hair i had to go over the same patch a few times and still it didnt give the desired results.
Firstly ill say the positives. Heats up fast, makes your hair nice and straight and dose nice curls , has a couple different temperature settings. Now The Negatives. Its Soo Loud, Heats Up VERY hot i went to curl my hair with it so took the protector peice off and i accidentally touched the barrel on my fore head for a second and it fully melted my skin i had a big burn mark then a massive scab for ages its crazy how hot they get so use carefully. All the silicone or whatever is on the plates to protect your hair started wearing off my plates after 2 months and they are very big and bulky i sold mine and went back to Remingtons i wouldn't recommend these there a waste of money
It literally burnt my hair. It's drying, annoying (sound wise) and the curls that it SOMETIMES makes, last for like an hour. I would not use this again, my hair smelt horrible after using it and it lacked shine. It got tangled caught.
Tips: Just don't go there.
I found this difficult to use not only on the fact it took my longer to straighten my hair than my normal hair straighter, I found that the size of the straightener to be to large. I found that it made my hair frizzy. I have never tried to curl my hair with the instyler as I expect it will take to long!
