KMS Colourvitality Shampoo and Conditioner Review

I am a big fan of purple shampoos, so I was excited to receive a bottle of this to try. Unfortunately I found it was much less effective than my previous brand, Fudge. I like to have my shampoo leave me with that greyish-purple hue, but this is not that type of product. I would notice my hair was slightly less brassy than after my regular, non-purple, shampoo, but the difference wasn't major.

On the plus side the bottle was easy to use and the shampoo smelt lovely - important because some purple shampoos I've tried have smelt horribly strong!

I think this would be a good product if you just want a slightly toning effect for natural blonde tones, but if you're after that really grey tone, this product is not strong enough for what you need.

I tried the KMS California Blonde shampoo approx two months ago, I love the smell of it to start with, and the 300mL bottle has lasted me ages! My supermarket brand shampoo doesn't last half as long! I haven't noticed much of a change in my tone of blonde, but it has definitely kept it from turning as brassy as it does without it.

Having recently made the change from brunette to an ombre blonde, the stylist recommended I use a blonde specific shampoo, and this was the one they had. I do not have much basis for comparison, but my hair is lovely and soft and staying a bright blonde. I love the smell. The price is up there though.

I was fortunate to win this from a hairdresser comp and have been very pleased with it. I usually opt for a purple shampoo to help protect my blonde hair color and to keep yellow tones and the brassy look at bay.

Despite this not been my usual preferred brand I decided to give it a go as it was free after all :) It has a lovely smell to it and I found you don't have to use much as it spreads really well.

I haven't noticed any drastic changes between using this product and my usual however in saying that it still does what it says it would be one to def use if you are looking for a shampoo that protects your color.

A definitive positive is this bottle lasted me a good 4 months which is actually longer than my usual brand.

My hair is cherry red so every 6-8 weeks I have to have it re-done and its not that cheap so I try so maintain it with a decent shampoo and conditioner. These caught my attention because they were on special which was a bonus to me so I thought why not and I'm glad I did. The shampoo is gentle but has enough strength to remove dirt and oil without stripping your colour and one of biggest fears while having a nice hot shower is looking down and seeing my colour wash down the drain but with this shampoo I barely noticed all I seen was a wee bit of wish wash. Now that's a good start to my day. The conditioner is hydrating and gentle giving my hair just what it needs and both of these products smell just lovely although I must say by the end of the bottles I was a wee bit over it but that's me just being fussy. The bottles lasted me a good 3-4 months which was also great. Good product, good size, great results so why not, a must try. Would I use it again? Yes

Great product hold colour for longer. awesome. It has a great feminine smell which even my son commented on. My hair felt lovely and soft after washing, wasn't to fly away after so it was easy to style. The conditioner is the best ever it seems to go a long way

This is the best shampoo/conditioner I have tried to keep my colour looking bright and shiny.. Would recommend to all colours especially dark.

I have used this shampoo and conditioner for the last six months. It keeps my colour looking fresh and vibrant. It leaves my hair feeling soft and hydrated.

I really love this shampoo and conditioner, i've used this when I colour my hair and it helps it stay vibrant and also shiny! this product also dosen't weigh down the hair and leaves it in a really lovely condition! one of my favourites when it comes to shampoo

I received this set as a gift from my partner a couple of weeks ago and boy did he get the right marks! This is by far the best colour S&C range I have used in my 7 years of colouring my hair. I have to say these are my holy grail of colour S&C. My hair is in the middle of my shoulder blade and honestly I only need a 10 cent piece spot of shampoo to wash my hair. I do 2 washes and then condition with about the same amount of 2 10 cent pieces. My hair is tangle free, smells AMAZING! and also feels light weight and smooth and silky. I started using this when i just coloured my hair as well and it has been around 3 weeks and it still looks like I have only just had it done (apart from my re-growth :P) Omg I really could go on forever! I feel like since using this I will use this range for a very very long time :D
