L'Oréal Paris ELVIVE Total Repair 5 Restoring Shampoo

Been trying to give it a good trial and leave my review to the last minute .I have found that my hair does seem healthier and not so dry and I do think it has helped repair my hair especially the ends as i dye my hair blonde which as you knw dries your hair out .ive always wondered if it actually do what the say and the price has always put me off but trying it has changed my mind and is worth every penny .its a good size bottle .smells great.but have to say that washing my hair with the shampoo I definitely needed the conditioner as it did get a bit knotty .my hair seems less fluffy after I wash it and dries . but think thats why you need the conditioner for sure which I will be reviewing also

This shampoo truly gives you a salon experience from home. It smells rich and luxurious, and most importantly it does what it says it will.

I've always been an avid hair colorer and have recently adopted the balayage hair style which unfortunately has left my ends dry and brittle. This shampoo has revitalised my hair, leaving it soft, silky and shiny and the great thing is that you only need a coin sized amount!

Would definitely recommend this to anyone that needs to give their hair a bit of TLC.

I was really pleasantly suprised by how much I liked this shampoo. After reading several bad reviews I wasn't really expecting much however this worked well for me.

I have damaged, coloured hair that tends to get oily roots and dry lengths, so it needs a bit of help to stop it looking flat, lifeless and it's uber-damaged self.

I really liked the scent of the entire Total Repair range, pretty with a slight floral fragrance which clung to my hair for a day or so after washing. The packaging is nice enough, a salon-quality look in a functional plastic squeeze bottle that makes it easy to get out.

I found the shampoo itself lathered really easily without needing a lot of product, so I feel I'll probably end up going through conditioner a lot faster with this range. After washing my hair felt nice and clean but not squeaky like some shampoos leave it. I've been using this in conjunction with the matching conditioner and together I have found they've left my hair looking a lot healthier, the lengths feel stronger and it really does feel soft and shiny.

I'm pretty impressed with this product and I think it's gonna be the first shampoo and conditioner range that I actually repurchase!

I usually wash my hair every 2-3 days and it is very thick and prone to frizz. I mix up the shampoo brands I use usually between salon and supermarket, mostly because I am always searching for that perfect product.

I found with this product my hair felt clean without too harsh, and the price is very reasonable, I will definitely try it again!

My flatmate was lucky enough to get on the trial team for this shampoo and conditioner so I sneakily tried it out and I'm very glad I did - I had run out of my previous conditioner (it's so annoying how conditioner always runs out before shampoo...) so I thought I may as well go buy the total repair S&C! It's a fair price for the products and seem to work better than some expensive salon hair products.

My hair is dry and frizzy and after about 2 weeks of using this it feels much softer. I was worried it might weigh down my hair but it doesn't, instead it looks voluminous and healthy.

I really like how much it lathers because I can use just a small amount and it still spreads through all my hair. I'm very happy with this shampoo and will most likely buy it again.

Over the last couple of years I've become a salon shampoo snob, as I haven't found any shampoo that I like from a supermarket. This one wasn't any different I felt. The smell is nice and lasts in your hair, and you get a really good lather with it. However after the first wash I sort of felt like it had that "pantene" feel....you know, like it's been coated in something to make you feel like your hair is smooth. Granted yes my hair has been feeling quite good, but I don't feel like it did what it claims: 1. Feeling stronger - I think it just feels the same. 2. Looking fuller - my hair doesn't look any fuller. 3. Looking revitalised - not so much. 4. Silkier to touch - yes it feels silkier. 5. With a healthier shine - it does have a shine to it, but I had that with my previous shampoo so didn't think this was anything special.

The total repair 5 shampoo smelled amazing and I had high expectations although unfortunately they didn't get met.

I found it to make my hair feel quite dry and almost tangled it more than it already was.

I didn't notice the shampoo strengthened my hair although when paired with the conditioner it did seem a bit shinier.

Really bubbly shampoo so you don't need much!

After reading amazing things about the L'Oréal Paris ELVIVE Total Repair 5 Restoring Shampoo I was super excited to give it a go! My hair has been through the wars lately, after being coloured and heat treated lots, and it's become quite dry and brittle at the ends. Unfortunately I found this shampoo did very little to nurture and nourish my dry hair.

The packaging and presentation of this product was good, the bottle was a decent size and it was easy to disperse the amount of product needed.

The formula itself was good, too; this shampoo is creamy but not too thick in consistency. It lathered up very well in the shower, and had a subtle but pleasant scent. Washed out easily with no residue.

However, I just found this product did nothing to help my hair! My hair wasn't dried out or anything, but neither was it nourished or repaired like the product claimed.

Pretty unimpressed, won't be repurchasing, but would recommend for anyone looking for a simple, effective shampoo for cleansing your hair.

This product feels more like conditioner than shampoo consistency wise which I like. I have pretty vibrantly dyed hair most of the time and it doesn't seem to make it fade too much which is a problem I've had with shampoo in the past. Overall my hair feels softer and it smells awesome, I think I'm gonna stick with this one.

I have used the same brand for many years but decided to give this ago, and wow I was impressed. Pleasant fragrance and easy to hold bottle. My hair felt soft and looked shiny. I do colour my hair so normally use colour shampoo but I reckon this has increased the colour of my hair (to my liking).
