L'Oréal Paris ELVIVE Total Repair 5 Restoring Shampoo

My package arrived and I was excited to start washing my hair and see what this little beauty did to my dry, damaged hair. The shampoo smelt lovely, I used a small amount in my hair but found that not much of a lather happened so I rinsed off and repeated, my hair got a good lather on the second time around. My hair is very dry from lightening my hair and I have noticed very little improvment to the condition of my hair. The only change I have noticed is my hair feels softer to touch. I'm a little disappointed in this product and probably won't be using again.

The first time I used this shampoo was impress with the texture. It feels like I was putting cream in my hair. I also realised I don’t need much. The smell was great and I also receive compliments about the smell of my hair. I didn’t see much of a change on my hair but I realise it feel silkier to the touch as it claims but no shinier, fuller or stronger. Maybe I need to use it longer to see more results. I also realise my hair is clean for longer.

My hair is feeling so much better after being damaged by lighting my hair and straightening I think I have found my new go to product I really like this product from the packaging the retail price to the results. I would use this again and would recommend to my friends and family

I was quite excited to try this shampoo as I am somebody who just buys whatever is cheapest at the time, so i was really looking forward to see if this was a shampoo I really liked. I am generally one who washes my hair one to two times a week, so using a shampoo that cleans and doesn't dry out my hair is a must. l really liked this shampoo it didn't really seem to have much of a smell, which for some people would be perfect but I prefer if is perfumed. l found this shampoo cleaned my hair well and I would happily repurchase.

My first impression of L'Oreal Paris ELVIVE Total Repair 5 Restoring Shampoo was that the bottle was smart and attractive to look at with the contrast of red, white, silver and gold. I initially thought from the shape and design of the bottle that the shampoo was to be used upside down like the conditioner as it had a flat top and sat better on the shelf, but that made the writing the wrong way up? The first time I used the shampoo I squeezed it in the normal manner that I would a bottle and a thick blob came out. This amount ended up being too much for one application so I wasted a lot of shampoo until I got accustomed to the right amount of pressure to use. The fragrance was quite strong but in a pleasant way, and not a very flowery, melon type blend. I liked the fragrance a lot . Having used the shampoo for three weeks I think it is very good value for money compared to salon shampoos. However, I did waste a lot in my first week due to the way it came out of the bottle. The shampoo washed my hair well, but it felt quite dry until I put the conditioner in. I would not have been able to use the shampoo without the conditioner but that is more because I bleach my hair and the chemicals make it very dry. I found L'Oreal Paris ELVIVE Total Repair 5 Restoring Shampoo and conditioner did restore my hair to a certain degree by making it silky to touch. It was no obviously noticeable but when I ran my fingers through the back of my hair it was soft and silky. This was quite important for me as my hair does feel quite dry at times. I did not notice that my hair was any shinier but having bleached greying hair the texture is a bit duller and coarser anyway.

Overall, for the price and feel of my hair I would recommend it to others, and the fragrance is really nice. I have quite a sensitive scalp and even though it was heavily fragranced, I had no adverse reaction to using the products.

I absolutely love this product! After the first week of using this shampoo my hair was noticeable stronger and fuller. I noticed less hair fall and breakage when combing my washed hair in the mornings. This product also has a great smell. It feels like I've just been to the salon every time I wash my hair!

I have been using the L'Oréal Paris ELVIVE Total Repair 5 Restoring Shampoo for about 3 weeks now, and I instantly fell in love with the floral smell of the shampoo. When I first saw this product I thought it might be quite good and I was certainly intrigued. I have damaged hair after straightening it a lot, with oily roots and dry ends, however after using the shampoo, my hair was left fluffy and felt like the same as before. The shampoo was really easy to lather well, but it simply did not live up to its claims. Apart from the fact that my hair did look a bit fuller, I feel that the shampoo didn’t strengthen my hair or make it any silkier or shinier. I don't really recommend the product for the fact that it basically doesn’t do what it says, however you can't really expect a product hat makes your hair gorgeous for a price like that.

This product leaves your hair smelling great but at the beginning it made my hair feel like straw some days. As i have long thick hair it also won't last me long as it is not the size of bottle i would usually purchase. It has left my hair looking fuller as it has said, but as my hair is already quite think this as left it fairly frizzy. The packaging of this product is nice but i would only purchase this again if it is on sale to see if it does anything after a longer period of time.

I've been using this shampoo much longer than the one I was sent for a free trial and honestly haven't noticed anything different to my hair. My hair has become quite damaged due to years of straightening and dying and I was hoping this would help my hair. So far I haven't seen any changes but maybe I need to be using it for a bit longer before I start to notice any huge changes. It does smell amazing though I will admit, and I probably will repurchase due to seeing if it makes any changes in my hair.

I have really dry and damaged hair from years of straightening, blow drying and hair colouring etc so i'm always eager to try out new shampoo's and products that claim to restore your hair. After trying this shampoo however I wasn't too thrilled. The packaging/ bottle is nice, it smells fairly good and isn't too pricey but it didn't really do anything to my hair. My hair wasn't feeling stronger, looking fuller, looking revitalized, or silkier to touch with a healthier shine as the product claimed. All it really did was make my hair cleaner. I would only by this again if it was on special.
