L'oreal ELVIVE Extraordinary Oil Shampoo Review
Reviews
Tips: Personally I like to leave in for a few minutes and then rinse well
I thought that the packaging looked expensive and luxurious. I would have preferred a different fragrance, but despite that, I would still buy this product again. After reading about someone complaining about it making their hair oily, I was very sparing with the amount I used. I colour my hair and it is fine and dry. The smallest amount made my hair squeaky clean and the large bottle will certainly last.
Tips: Make sure that you only use a very small amount, that is honestly all you will need.
First things first, it smells amazing! The packaging is great, very obvious just from looking at it, it's a nourishing shampoo packed full of oil.
After using the shampoo I found my hair felt a little drier than before, but the conditioner fixed that issue. It definitely cleaned my hair really well.
Definitely a nourishing shampoo. I would purchase more.
Tips: Use a little less than usual as it lathers well!
Ok so I'm not being dramatic but this here is my new go to. I usually wash hair Mon Then every 3rd day. After shamp my hair is n feels amazing so light and fluffy not straw like. L'oreal thank you!!
Tips: Only tip! Is use it you won't be disappointed :)
I was keen to give this shampoo a go. I'd seen it advertised but I'm always skeptical of products making "instant results" claims so hadn't tried it.
When using the product it has a good consistency and has a nice smell (very important!)
And I can actually say that I think that it did seem to make my hair seem shinier, even after the first wash! My hair was soft (but it usually is not couldn't tell much difference.) I'm not sure about the nourishment and transformation though - I think you need to use products for a bit longer to see results.
One thing I did notice though was it made my (very fine) hair really fluffy and I had lots of sticky up bits! Wasn't so keen on that.
For the price to purchase I think it's a good product - you get a lot for your $.
Thanks for the opportunity to try!
Tips: I think I'd make this my "on holiday" shampoo. Great to have lovely shinny hair and it wouldn't matter about the fluffiness! :-)
Hi lovely ladies, Today I'm posting my experience with the L'oreal Extraordinary Oil Shampoo. Firstly the packaging is very cute. It caught my eye instantly. And the texture is really lightweight as it claims. Normally I have quite dry, coarse and frizzy hair, but after using this shampoo, I noticed that when I ran my fingers through it, it felt silky and smooth. I don't get much frizz at the roots anymore either which is a big plus for me! It smells amazing, lathers really nicely and still cleans my hair effectively while not stripping it. After using this shampoo, i feel like washing my hair daily just to get that premiere experience. So I'm definitely gonna buy this again for sure!
Tips: It does make my hair last one day less before it needs to be washed again, so maybe don't apply the conditioner all the way up if you have oily hair. If you apply lots of product you might need to wash twice.
I absolutely loved this shampoo! My hair is always dry and frizzy, but this shampoo has worked miracles. It smells absolutely divine, washing my hair was like a pampering spa experience. It left my hair feeling and looking amazing. While I could instantly see the difference in hydration and shine, it left my hair feeling super soft and light. Other shampoos I've tried that claim to hydrate have often left my hair feeling heavy. My hair is no longer a dry and frizzy mess thanks to this shampoo.
Tips: I highly recommend following this shampoo up with the L'oreal Extraordinary Oil Conditioner to look in the hydration and shine. I also found that after the first use I noticed a difference, but the more I used it the better my hair looked and felt.
I tried L'oreal extraordinary oil shampoo for the first time last week. I've since used twice and found it made my hair soft and shiny and smells so nice! It really hydrated my hair. I would recommend to anyone who needs a bit of hydration and life to their hair to try it.
Tips: I used as directed
My hair is fine and tends to be oily at the roots and dryer on the ends. I used both the L'oreal Extraordinary Oil Shampoo and Conditioner and found that the shampoo made my roots feel oily and I needed to wash my hair sooner than I usually would. While my hair was soft and shiny it did have an oil feel to it. This product is probably better suited for people with thicker dryer hair. I would use this again as a once in a while wash when my hair is needing extra care.
Tips: Do as the instructions say only shampoo the roots and condition the lengths and ends.
This is not the first review I've written about a hair product that claims to tame manes. I have the baby hair regrowth and so have been trying to use anything in my power to try and tame those unruly hairs using minimal effort. I purchased this shampoo as it was on special for $3.99 vs the usual $5.99 at my local pack n save. I have had some luck with the hair serum in this range so was hoping this would help me to have a sleek new look. It's not a miracle cure.. but it does help. For the price I paid it was good. This shampoo versus others in a similar price range is great - if purchased on sale. From the first wash the transparent yellow liquid created a small foamy lather and instantly upon rinsing my hair felt more tangle free and smooth than it has using another brands shampoo AND conditioner. I didn't condition as my problem hairs are around the scalp rather than the tips.. perhaps if frizz at the tips was more of an issue I would invest in the conditioner. I followed suit with the serum, let dry overnight and assessed the situation the following morning. The ultimate test for me is how Afro those baby hairs are when I mum bun it. Unfortunately it didn't totally tame them but it did help to manage them when I tried to style them in one direction or another. Also when wearing my hair out it is noticeably sleeker. I have been doing this more often lately as this has been easier and less effort... plus it also means I am not worrying if people think I've been electrocuted by a power socket/not trying. For the price I highly recommend.
