L'oreal ELVIVE Extraordinary Oil Shampoo Review
Reviews
Tips: Only tip! Is use it you won't be disappointed :)
Hi lovely ladies, Today I'm posting my experience with the L'oreal Extraordinary Oil Shampoo. Firstly the packaging is very cute. It caught my eye instantly. And the texture is really lightweight as it claims. Normally I have quite dry, coarse and frizzy hair, but after using this shampoo, I noticed that when I ran my fingers through it, it felt silky and smooth. I don't get much frizz at the roots anymore either which is a big plus for me! It smells amazing, lathers really nicely and still cleans my hair effectively while not stripping it. After using this shampoo, i feel like washing my hair daily just to get that premiere experience. So I'm definitely gonna buy this again for sure!
Tips: It does make my hair last one day less before it needs to be washed again, so maybe don't apply the conditioner all the way up if you have oily hair. If you apply lots of product you might need to wash twice.
I absolutely loved this shampoo! My hair is always dry and frizzy, but this shampoo has worked miracles. It smells absolutely divine, washing my hair was like a pampering spa experience. It left my hair feeling and looking amazing. While I could instantly see the difference in hydration and shine, it left my hair feeling super soft and light. Other shampoos I've tried that claim to hydrate have often left my hair feeling heavy. My hair is no longer a dry and frizzy mess thanks to this shampoo.
Tips: I highly recommend following this shampoo up with the L'oreal Extraordinary Oil Conditioner to look in the hydration and shine. I also found that after the first use I noticed a difference, but the more I used it the better my hair looked and felt.
I love the eye catching gold of this packaging and the fact that you can see through the bottle so you know how much product you have left.
When you open the bottle you are hit with a lovely floral scent, which reminded me of being in a professional hair salon. The product comes out of the bottle easily and lathers well into your hair.
I have quite dry hair, which had been damaged by frequent use of the hair dryer. At times I also have a dry scalp. I found with just several washes this product improved the appearance of my hair and scalp, leaving it shiny and smooth just as the bottle promises.
I wash my hair every second day and found my hair stayed silky smooth in between washes.
For the reasonable price of $5.50 I will definitely continue to use this product in the future.
Tips: For best results use in conjunction with the Extraordinary Oil Conditioner.
I didn't realise how much I would like this shampoo. I struggle to find really good shampoo for my hair without spending a fortune at the hairdresser. I have used another Loreal Elvive shampoo before and it wasn't the right one for my hair but this shampoo was great. Why? Because it cleaned my hair without it feeling stripped. My scalp was clean and the dandruff I have been getting has reduced too. My hair had bounce but was smooth so the 6 precious oils didn't weigh it down - and it smells great! I will continue to use this shampoo in conjunction with the conditioner.
Tips: My hair gets quite greasy at the roots but is dry at the ends so I like to condition my hair first, from the ends up and then use the shampoo to wash the conditioner out. I find not only does this get me an extra day without having to wash the grease out but it adds more shine & body to my hair. Sometimes conditioning can leave my hair quite flat otherwise.
Ive used this twice now and absolutely love it. First off the smell is delicious very nice almost a hint of coconut. The texture is light and I only needed a small amount to use on my hair (my hair is down to the middle of my back) Most shampoos I've used have left my hair feeling rough after shampooing but this does the opposite and that's without conditioning I left my hair unwashed for 4 days after using and it still remained soft and manageable. I'd definitely recommend the product. My hair is naturally quite oily and this didn't affect that negatively taking into consideration that its an oil based shampoo. Please try this you won't be disappointed :)
Tips: Definitely don't over use the product at all seeing as its an oil based shampoo :)
The most striking thing about this shampoo is the scent. It's stunning. It's like a really sexy unisex scent. I catch whiffs of my hair and can't believe I smell this good! L'Oreal, if you're reading - I need a body lotion with this scent!
This shampoo is lovely, it lathers nicely, not too much, you don't need to use much and it rinses out well. (nothing worse than a shampoo that won't wash out!)
The price is brilliant, the packaging is standard but nice. It really is just a great product.
As a stand alone shampoo this is great, but trust me - you need to pair it with the matching conditioner for immense results!
Tips: I love the whole Extraordinary Oil range - try it!
I'm all about the hair shampoo, conditioner, masks, serums are my weakness. I have used and repurchased the mask in this range so many times its a firm favourite. So I thought why not try the shampoo and conditioner in this range too.
The tan coloured see through bottle is nothing fancy pants but it's practical. The shampoo itself is a dark caramel colour with that slight caramel/musk scent that I love in this range. You only need the tiniest drop of this shampoo as it lathers a lot!
I run it through my mop it's easy to massage through my hair being quite a thin consistency and it lathers up A LOT!! The first time I used this I put way too much in and spent what felt like eternity to rinse it all out. But once I remembered for next time it was fine.
My hair is on the dry and damaged side so I don't like to shampoo too often but this seems to be very gentle. After I rinse it out my hair doesn't feel too bad, like it's already had a bit of conditioner in it.
Would I repurchase? You bet! It's a nice shampoo and awesome value for money since you only need the smallest of small amounts. And the scent is awesome in this range.
This is my new favourite shampoo. I thought I would give it a try as it was on sale can't go wrong. I was blown away I'm still using it and now when it's on sale I stock up.
It's in lovely packing it could only be made better in a bigger bottle with a pump because of the texture of it I find it can be a bit tricky to pop the lid and put it down with out it dropping. That could just be I use a lot of it cause I'm so in love.
It smells lovely and leave my hair feeling amazing. I don't need to wash it as much and it doesn't go overly boofy, oily or greasy
I haven't had to keep swapping shampoo and conditioner like I use to
I thought that the packaging looked expensive and luxurious. I would have preferred a different fragrance, but despite that, I would still buy this product again. After reading about someone complaining about it making their hair oily, I was very sparing with the amount I used. I colour my hair and it is fine and dry. The smallest amount made my hair squeaky clean and the large bottle will certainly last.
Tips: Make sure that you only use a very small amount, that is honestly all you will need.
