I was very lucky to score this in the very first vault. At the time I was in search of more natural, organic SLS-free shampoos and conditioners. The label says has 0% parabens, sodium lauryl sulphate and mineral oil. So I was ecstatic to add this to my collection of shampoos and conditioners. The bottles look a bit high end with the labels. However when I checked the label in the back the shampoo isn't mostly natural or completely sulphate free and the conditioner had even fewer natural ingredients in it. The scent of the shampoo is a herbal scent and you can smell the rosemary and cypress oils, it's a very unisex scent. It's rather thick and lathers pretty well. My hair gets that squeeky, clean feel and my scalp is refreshed afterwards but long, ends up rather tangled. The product is also a bit thick and slightly difficult to get out of the hole in the flip top, especially after the product dries and blocks the hole and I had the same problem with the conditioner. The conditioner has this nice refreshing scent I can't smell the mint so much but I can smell a hint of tangerine but that's pretty much where my love of this product ends. This conditioner didn't do much for my hair especially after the shampoo tangled it up. I found it didn't moisturize much even when I over applied it to the lengths of my hair. It did work well on my scalp though and was refreshing. Given that my hair didn't respond well to this set, I ended up given it away. I'm glad I scored these in the vault because if I had bought these I would've considered it a waste as I've had better results with some cheaper shampoo and conditioners. Also my hair doesn't last as long between washes if I use this in comparison to other brands and this seems to dry it out. I would recommend this however for guys and people with short hair, especially since the scent is very unisex.

Tips: A good set for guys but I wouldn't recommend this for long hair.
I got these from my sister about a week ago. They look great and are cruelty free and everything. The shampoo had a sort of globby consistency and didn't work up much of a lather. I could feel it in my hair though, and smell rosemary all around and it does get my hair clean. The conditioner smells only slightly orangey, and not much like mint. I find it very moisturising and come away from every wash with shiny and fresh rosemary-smelling hair.
I was lucky to purchase these from the first ever BR beauty vault sale. I am extremely impressed they not only smell divine they leave my hair so soft & pleasantly scented, smooth & glossy. It has also helped with my dry itchy scalp - an issue I don't normally have but I developed over the hot summer. My hair is easy to style & I can go for quite a few days between washes. Linden Leaves is one of my favourite brands & this is a great product
Tips: This shampoo is a low foam product so don't be tempted to use too much to try & get a full on lather, I make sure to have very wet hair & spread it around my head before I start to massage, if you feel it isn't cleaning thoroughly add more water & a little more shampoo .Towel dry your hair before applying the conditioner to allow it to be absorbed into the hair shaft.
I loved this product, and my hair is very heavily coloured. This kept my hair shiney and it smells awesome.
Tips: you only need a little bit of shampoo. Jut condition the ends especially if your hair is oily like mine.
The smell of these products is so fresh and clean and the pleasant tangerine scent lingers all day. The shampoo felt cleansing without leaving my hair feeling stripped which was a nice change from most shampoos. I have thick, curly hair and although it says its for all hair types, my curls were still left quite frizzy. Also, I needed to re-wash my hair after two days when I usually wash my hair every 4-5 days.
Have been using for the last two weeks and have found for my hairtype i needed quite a bit of shampoo to be able to hydrate my hair and create a lather. Wasnt too keen on the scent of the shampoo. The conditioner i found to leave my hair silky though and loved the scent of this. Overall found to be a good product. Found it to be more natural than the supermarket products i use.
Tips: Leave the conditioner in slighty longer to nourish hair.
I love the smell, very organic. The conditioner smells like lemon grass, which we used to use it as a shampoo long time ago. They dont give my hair any different from my usual Loreal shampoo and conditioner. But they weight down my hair so i only used twice then i have to back to my old shampoo. But my husband loves them.
It has a refreshing and revitalising smell which was a bit too strong for my taste. i have quite long hair which means i had to go through a bottle of this shampoo and conditioner in two weeks washing my hair every 2-3 days. This wasnt a very economical buy for me. However I do like that this product is natural and free of sulphate which was perfect for me beacuse i got my hair chemically straighten last year in singapore.
My hair-type: Chemically treated, wavy and curly long hair with a tendency to be dry and frizzy.
Before using the Shampoo, I found the ‘au-naturel’ fragrance quite overwhelming. The shampoo felt great on the scalp, but left my hair drier and less smooth than my usual shampoo.
The conditioner was brilliant. It was as effective as my own conditioner, which is specifically for dry, frizzy out of control hair. At this point, I definitely enjoyed the fragrance of the products in ensemble.
The shampoo and conditioner left my hair drier and more prone to tangling than I expected and it took me a little more product and time to style my hair.
The Linden Leaves shampoo and conditioner appealed to me because it is free of harmful chemicals. I would happily pay the retail price if it would make my hair smoother and more manageable. However, just like most natural products, it claims to be suitable for everyone and I disagree with that. It would be great if such products made from natural ingredients could be tweaked to make them more suitable for someone with thin or damaged hair, looking for volume….. or for someone like me, that needs it to do the opposite and tame my hair and make it easier to style.
I received these as part of a gift set and took them away travelling with me, as they were a very decent size (100ml each). The products were not what I expected – the shampoo was very thick, with an almost jelly-like texture, while the conditioner was very runny. It was the opposite of most other shampoo-conditioner pairings. The screw tops meant that it was hard to control how much product came out, which was frustrating. The shampoo did not foam well and I needed to use lots to get a decent lather. It did smell nice though – I loved the unusual scent, great to see some variation in the market. The conditioner did not do much for my hair but again I enjoyed the unusual scent.
I wouldn’t purchase again due to the formulation being a bit off and the price, which I find too expensive for what it is.
