I recently visited Lush and was recommended this product by the sales assistant. It's a solid shampoo which you can use by either breaking off a piece and working that into your hair, or smoothing the entire bar down the lengths of your hair like a soap. It smells okay, but I wasn't too fussed by the fragrance overall. I do like how you can choose how much of this you want to try out, and have the staff member cut off a chunk for you.
This product worked okay for me. I found the product easily to work through my hair in the shower. The detangling qualities weren't great, so I had to apply this product twice in order to get my hair the way I wanted it. I also didn't find it super nourishing, which I what I'm always after in a shampoo. But it did the job.
I was so excited when lush brought out these new hair products and yes being on a hair care bender it was added to my cart.
This big white cube is very soft I feel if I squeeze too hard it will crumble. It has the yummiest sweetest coconut scent it's perfect but I love stronger scents.
After shampooing my hair i start rubbing this through, the bar is rather awkward to hold so I cut it in half. It took ages to rub this through I have long, dry hair and I felt like all I was doing was knotting and teasing my hair with not a lot of the conditioning going on. I then tried rubbing the bar through my hands like I would a bar of soap but it still didn't make any difference.
I have tried this on the mini me's that have lovely natural hair and It was lovely in their hair leaving it soft, manageable and lightweight.
This needs to be stored well away from water as I think it would turn to mush really quickly just because of how soft it is.
It's not something I will repurchase unfortunately because that scent is so divine. I just need it more moisturising for my dry damaged hair.
