Now anyone that knows me knows I am a massive Lush Addict, however I was so disappointed with this product. I didn't find this glided on my hair very well, and harder to wash out.
Maybe its because I have super awkward and dry hair but this actually stripped my hair of any oils it had prior to using this. It left my hair damaged, even more dry and a big mess to try and fix.
The smell wasn't all that great either, personally I didn't think it smelt like fruit at all, but one of those shampoo and conditioner bottles or bar soap you get when you stay at a cheap motel.
Sorry Lush, you know I love you but I just couldn't give a thumbs up for this conditioner.
I was looking for a new conditioner, and was keen to try out the whole 'solid' concept, so visited my local Lush and came away with Jungle and Big.
Firstly, I ADORE the the scent of this product. This smells simultaneously fruity and musky, like what a jungle would genuinely smell like if it was compacted into a small, green bar! The scent is absolutely beautiful.
Unfortunately, that's where my appreciation of this product comes to an end. In the shower it refused to come off on my hair at all - my hair honestly was 100% un-conditioned after minutes of application. Thinking that perhaps the product HAD applied properly, I attempted to wash my hair and detangle it, but it honestly felt like there was no product in my hair whatsoever. My hair was impossible to detangle.
So overall, although I love the idea and scent of this product, Jungle completely failed to work for me. It is now sitting in my pajama drawer making all my sleepwear smell beautiful.
