The Lush Shine So Bright hair balm is a lovely wee product which I had recommended to me last time I was at Lush. It's super affordable, and comes in a little screw-top pot like a lip balm. The balm smells SO lovely - much more subtle than some of Lush's stronger fragrances, but still very appealing and feminine. I love all the wonderful ingredients and all the wonderful ethical things Lush stands for, and enjoy the lingering scent of this balm. Definitely recommend for anyone with split ends like me, or even if you're just looking for a nice wee product to help keep the ends of your hair healthy and shiny.

Mend those ends
We've concocted a beautiful balm to prevent split ends and help hair shine so bright. Extra virgin coconut and olive oils, shea butter and fresh free range eggs nourish and improve the tensile strength of hair to prevent and mend split ends. It works wonderfully as a finishing product as well, taming fly-aways and keeping hair in place for a flawless look. Add to that an orange flower, grapefruit, neroli and rosewood perfume and you won't want to leave home without this!

Tips: Use a small amount of this balm on the ends of your hair - a little goes a long way.
I bought this for $5 from a fellow Lush Addict, and it was barely used. I was stoked! I love hair products so I was excited to see how this would fair in my hair. My hair was in pretty good condition as it was, so I tracked it over a few weeks to see if it got better.
This comes in a handy dandy tub, similar to the Lush lip balms, but maybe a bit more sturdy as the lid twists on. Inside is a golden wonder that smells quite pleasant. Nothing really stands out for me scent wise.
To use I rub my index finger around the small tub and then onto my fingers to spread it around and warm it up. I apply it to the ends of my hair only, where the split ends would be.
Unfortunately I never noticed any difference with this. I felt as if it weighed my hair down, went crunchy and was hard to brush. Maybe a fresher batch would be better but otherwise, I wouldn't repurchase this.
I love Lush products, and am very often blown away by how well they work. Not really with the Lush Shine balm. It is supposed to help split ends, but I haven't found that much of a difference. Smells nice though.
Over boxing day Lush had this on special so I picked it up. The scent is gorgeous and I love to use this as a hair perfume.
The packaging is cute and sturdy. If you are familiar with Lush's lip balms then you can expect this to have extremely similar packaging.
The product itself is a yellow tinted balm that is a little hard. Upon using it I don't notice it making my ends shiny or any healthier looking. In fact the only thing I really notice this doing is making my hair smell delicious. So that is solely what I use this for.
This stuff works amazingly. It's in a small container which is perfect to put in your handbag for use whenever needed. This product instantly tames my fly always and split ends without giving my hair too much shine making it look greasy. You don't need to use much product to achieve desired look. Its reasonably priced and I will definitely be buying more once I finish the tub I have now.
