I use and have used Manic Panic for the last 12 months - I am a huge follower of this product & often get stopped everywhere I go asking for advice and gaining compliments on my Rainbow array of hair. I take super good care of my rainbows, I only have to touch up my colours once every 4-6 weeks. I do use the amplified formula over the classic formula so have less colour options but they are amazing colours and I have used many other brands on the market and NOTHING has stood up as well as Manic Panic :-)

Tips: Wash hair in cold water only + use sulphate free shampoos to prolong the life of your hair colour.
I bought the pink and omg love! I done it over top white blonde and it came out perfect only this is that it is hard to get out as in it does fade out but you dying over it lighter may take a couple of times to get all the pinkiness out
I was recomended this brand by a friend and I can see why. After two months though my tips have faded, the base still holds the same vibrant color it did since I first dyed my hair. It's easy to use, comes in heaps of colors and is vegan.
Tips: Use the Manic Panic lightening fast Bleach as well, for best results google around to see what others recommend. Use cool water when you wash your hair to ensure it doesn't fade as fast.
I've only used this in pink but I loved the colours. The only down side for me was that my hair had to be bleached nearly white for the pink to stick on. It's also very easy to make pastel colours with the manic panic classic. However, mixing it to a pastel colour will make it fade faster. My friend used the blue one and it just looked amazing!
Tips: For pastel colours mix in with a bit of conditioner.
Manic panic is amazing. I've been using it for 5 years now and dont think I'll change brands. The colour are vibrant, and its ridiculously easy to use.
Tips: Vasaline your ears and face before you apply the dye as it can stain skin pretty bad. I've found keeping ice water handy is a good incase you do get any on your skin. Also try mixing a bit of your dye with conditioner and apply it with gloves, it helps keep your colour bright as it fades with each wash.
I colour my hair all the time with manic panic. I have done so many different colors and I love them all. The lighter colors like cotton candy don't really work in my hair as I have dark brown hair naturally and haven't been able to bleach it blonde enough for those colors to take. But all the rest are awesome, they are so bright and make my hair feel so nice. They last a few months in my hair with only washing my hair every 2nd/3rd day.
Tips: Wash your hair in cold water and put a little bit of colour with conditioner when washing your hair, refreshes the colour a bit.
I had a wee bit of an unfortunate experience where my hairdresser mixed up the strand tests when I wanted to go red. She had used Pillar box red at one end & Wildfire at the other. The red I wanted turned out to be the Pillarbox but I got the Wildfire & it went flaming orange! Now it wasn't as awful it could have been as my hair before was dark with quite a bit of light bits through my length. I was trying to achieve a dark red hue to my darker bits with a brighter Umbre effect. We'll it worked but it was the wrong colour. I ended up going over it with another brand's Pillar box. Now it looks beautiful! But otherwise... I found the formula really nice. It was gentle on my hair & actually improved the quality! There was an alarming (or not so alarming as I didn't want it anyway) amount of colour to the second wash however the colour remained. After reading a lot of reviews on Manic Panic & most saying that it works best on white blonde, I think it actu ally worked quite well on medium brown- giving it a beautiful hue..
Tips: I slept with the colour in over night so do that. Rinsing in cold water definitely helps. DO use Vaseline or something to protect your skin as it stains!
I used purple haze when i had lilac hair, amazing, colour lasts longer than i expected! I didn't use the full tub because i had added a spoon full into a bottle of conditioner, so it lasted me a couple months! :) Would definitely purchase again, worth the price !
I've been flipping between Manic Panic and Directions hair colours now for years! I've used mainly all the red shades available. I started out bleaching and applying the colour for a super vibrant alternative look which you really do get on lightened hair- it's very saturated colour. I have super thin damaged hair and it tended to look great for about 6 washes before it begins to gradually fade out- evenly. It leaves my hair feeling treated with more body and has never damaged my hair. I still use it in between my permanent red colours to give my hair a longer break between the more damaging colour.
Tips: It will colour your white grout and tiles in the shower when rinsing the colour off- but bathroom bleach takes care of that so don't panic! Mixing the colours is great for tailoring the exact shade you want also.
I love dying my hair assorted bright colours from blue to pink red and everywhere in between, and when I found a local shop stocked Manic Panic I was right in there buying their Atomic Turquoise. I started with bleached hair and put the colour in not expecting much of a change due to having used bad semis in the past. I slept with it in and in the morning when I washed it out I couldn't believe the colour, it was the most incredible light and bright blue. Even after a few washes the colour stayed. I have also used their purple and pink dyes and have always been impressed. No itchy or damaged scalp, no patchiness, and no dull colours. Thoroughly impressed. Currently have Purple Haze fading in my hair, started off really bright but still looks incredible as it fades to a lilac shade, still getting compliments :)
Tips: Always start with bone-dry hair and leave the dye in overnight for maximum colour. If you are looking to make your hair the brightest it can be, only use the dye on white hair no matter how long the bleaching process is. Don't wash your hair with any shampoo or conditioner for the first week to help the colour really soak in and stay for the longest possible time.
