Moroccanoil Repair Shampoo and Conditioner Review

I was luckily gifted these and was super excited to try both of these as I've previously tried the Moroccan argan oil and fell in love. The scent of both the shampoo and conditioner is heavenly. The shampoo lathers up well so you don't need to use very much and it didn't dry my hair out like most other shampoos do. The conditioner is extremely hydrating and worked wonders on my bleached hair, it feels silky smooth every time I use this product. I would happily use this again and would definitely reccommend to others.

All I can start with is I LOVE THIS PRODUCT!! It is literally my favourite shampoo and conditioner combo I have ever used. My hair is so dry and brittle from six years of colouring it blonde (with a few trips back to brown and straight back to blonde in between). Moroccan Oil truly has been a saviour for my hair. I decided to try it because I had used the oil and liked it, and I also wanted to try a more natural product on my hair seeing as five years of Redken was doing absolutely nothing for it.

After the first use I felt like I was in heaven! The shampoo lathered beautifully and the scent is exotic and yummy! The conditioner also makes my hair feel soft and tames some frizziness. I bought my bottles in March and I am not quite finished them (but getting close) so a little goes a long way with this product! I have noticed that in the last three months my hair has also grown a lot more than usual which is what every girls wants right?!

Best purchase I have made in a long time! I seriously recommend this to anyone who has dry/damaged/colored hair. I have been using it for about 4 weeks, only washing once a week since it is a very strong product and my hair usually doesn't get greasy until the last 3 days. I have naturally oily hair but since I spend a lot of time in the salt water, it tends to become a bit drier - hence why I use this product.

First off the bottles are so cute! Love the colors, definitely gram worthy! One of the best things about this product is it is super safe for your hair and for color. It is quite expensive for 250ml in my opinion, although I am used to $4 product from the super market. You don't need to use a lot each wash since its a very thick consistency. My absolute favourite thing about this is the smell! It smells absolutely amazing I can't tell you how much I love it. Usually shampoos and conditioners have a good smell but the fragrance literally falls off when you wash your hair out. The real question though is that does it really work? And the answer to that is HECK YES! I've definitely noticed a difference in my hair, I've noticed its thicker, smoother and doesn't go greasy as fast as other hair care products.

Overall, my favourite hair product in the whole wide world and I encourage you to try it because you will love it!

First off I love the smell and design of this product! It makes my hair so smooth and shiny after use and you don't need much in each wash as it lathers very well. This product is very hydrating and I will certainly be using this product again.

Awesome dup of hair care. Definitely lives up to the claims. I can't fault this product at all. A little pricey but worth it,especially if your hair is in need of extra TLC

I recently bought a 500ml duo of the Shampoo and Conditioner online from my favourite hair care store as it was on special for $90 (absolute bargain as these products are so expensive). I swear by the original Moroccanoil treatment oil and I had heard great things about the shampoo & conditioner.

First things first - they smell fantastic, very similar to the oil which I was really pleased with! The shampoo is a pale yellow shade and foams up perfectly. I was surprised to find that it was quite drying on my hair but nothing major. It rinsed out easily and my hair didn’t retain a lot of water when I squeezed it out to prepare for the conditioner. The conditioner is white and has the same scent as the shampoo, it’s not too thick but not at all runny either - a really nice consistency. It spreads on the hair easily and detangles instantly. Yay! It’s also very easy to rinse and doesn’t weigh the hair down at all.

After blow drying my hair was left soft and shiny but I still needed a serum to smooth down some frizz and flyaways. To be fair though I’ve never found a conditioner that truly combats ALL the frizz!

Overall these are really nice products but they’re nothing special. I’ve used better but they are very nice and I would use them again if they were on special. I would NOT pay full price though.

This product has a beautiful scent. I have dry hair and I found this product to be too heavy and oily on my hair. It felt like it left a buildup of product on my hair and when washing my hair I had to make sure that I rinsed and rinsed and rinsed until I was sure it had been washed out completely.

I purchased this product because my hair is quite dry and brittle from having been coloured a lot. I found that this product is suitable for occasional use only as it tends to build up in your hair and make it feel quite oily. It's definitely not suitable for people who already have oily hair!

The first time you use it, you will notice a difference, but like a lot of products, that seems to fade over time. After about 2 months, I stopped using it in favour of a Pureology shampoo and conditioner that I found worked a lot better.
