This is always my go-to hair dye when I am going from a disaster blonde (which I have had many over the years) back to a brown. If I have a rather "yellow" emergency and don't feel like trying to get to a nice blonde, I grab a nice chocolate brown, and wowee, the colour always comes out perfect, and you would not think that I had tried bleaching my hair (maybe more than once eek) you struggle to find any evidence of bleach damage. So simply put, the colour always comes out beautiful, it is long lasting, and repairs damage!

Great hair dye, great price, great range of colours! I dye my hair a lot and I always seem to find myself buying this product! It is messy to apply which is one of the downsides to this products and also the gloves didn't fit, kept sliding off, so I had to use some of my own which wasn't so bad but it would be a pain if someone didn't have gloves at home! Overall this is one of my favourite hair dyes to use, as it lasts a long time in my hair and the colour is always how I want it ♥♥
Tips: Use vasiline (pure petroleum jelly) on hairline and on ears! Dye just rubs right off, great clean finish.
Ive used this twice before and would not go back. I didnt like how fast my colour faded(if it had been red I wouldnt of been surprised but black?)and my hair felt like straw afterwards. The after care conditioner did nothing to help the condition it left my hair in
This is my own personal favourite of all brands, I am currently blonde, But when I used it to dye my hair from mouse brown, To a very dark chocolate brown and it was a very easy process. Never stripped my hair to much. And the after products of deep conditioning is amazing!
Tips: Check the packet for all items before using, I have mixed the mixture up and the deep conditioners, and gloves were missing from a pack before. Supermarket happily replaced :)
Yes! This is a good product for the price. Another reasonably easy to apply colour that gives good results as compared with more expensive brands. It has a nice, thick conditioner with it for use after colouring. Again I've found the colour (dark brunette colours in particular) stays vibrant for a week or so then fades out after that. If you're looking for a regular, basic hair colour, this is a good option.
Great cheap way to colour your hair on a small budget and conditioner smells nice colour lasts a while great to use for the kids as well
This is the first time I have used this dye, it was on special at the supermarket, and it being it so long since I had I dyed my hair, I thought what the hell. I picked that shade chocolate brown, which is within a couple of shades of my natural hair colour. The instructions were easy to follow and there was plenty of dye for my hair which is shoulder length. It washed out well, and the conditioner smelt lovely & nourishing and there was plenty of it. The conditioner was in a sachet, so once opened I ended up using it all opposed to other dyes that have tubes with lids where I could get than more than one wash sometimes. I did really like the colour, it has given my hair life and a couple of weeks down the line it has lasted well. About a week later I did put in an argan oil hair mask as my hair did feel a bit straw-like/brittle compared to my pre-dye hair.
I have used every self hair colour brand out there, this brand wasn't something i would use again.
I have thick long hair and the Napro bottles seemed smaller than other brands so it would take 2-3 bottles to fully saturate my hair, and after using the conditioner it provides, my hair would still be dry and frizzy. i hated the smell too. Yuck. The instructions are clear and easy, packaging is ok, but there are definitely better products out there.
Inexpensive for a reason. It does do the job, and it is cheap, however, I'm sick of watching my colour wash down the drain every time I shower. It never lasts as long as other products, and it really grips the skin when you dye your hair. It would almost be beneficial to also wear the gloves when rinsing out as it has coloured my hands and nails too. I would probably use it again though, as it is inexpensive and it does leave my hair incredibly shiny and has a pleasant fragrance, and is cheap to buy.
I used the #1 black colour from the Napro Palette range. I found the product had a few things I didnt like such as the formula was too thin, and it didn't cover all of my shoulder length hair. Also I found the chemical smell to be super overpowering, I could barely breath. And the gloves didnt fit.. But the bottle it comes in it easy to use !
The results I got were actually quite good, I had bold/dark shiny hair but only for the first two weeks. Then it faded and left my hair looking dull and lifeless. This is one of the cheaper colouring ranges out there and with the mediocre results I got I wont be going back for seconds.
