I love the scent and the packaging. However, it works much better in kids hair than my own. It does add moisture so If you have fine hair and need a little moisture you could really enjoy this. But I do love this as a child’s shampoo. Hair is left really clean, and smelling great on my sons hair. On my own, it feels clean but the smell is gone almost immediately.

Having short fine hair, I was interested to participate in this trial to see what this product did for my hair.
Before trying it for the first time, I did a sniff test, to make sure it wasn't too strong for my nose. What I did notice in addition to the coconut fragrance was a hint of a chemical odour, which was a bit off putting.
I have a policy of less is more with shampoo so I tried a small amount to start with then increased it on subsequent uses. Not having lauryl sulfates is a good attribute, but it also meant less foam on my head, something I wasn't used to. Increasing the amount used definitely helped to alleviate that issue.
It rinsed out easily and did not appear to leave any greasy residue prior to applying the leave in conditioner. It also didn't strip the natural oils from my hair.
I liked the product but I wouldn't rave about it due to the chemical odour. That was the biggest minus for me. On the plus side my hair was shiny and felt nice to touch.
I thought that this shampoo was just ok - it functioned well as a shampoo, however I didn't feel as though it cleaned my hair as well as other shampoos I've tried recently, and I wasn't a huge fan of the fake-coconut scent. I really liked that this was free from nasty ingredients, and I know lots of people will like the fact that this is a certified vegan product. The pump-style packaging is great!
Tips: I found double washing my hair with this shampoo got it cleaner than just using the product once.
Free from nasties, so that is got to be good. But I really felt that this shampoo was just ok. The entire family used it and although we all loved the pump bottle, the children managed to snap the nozzle when opening it which meant we had to put it back on for each use. It did its job but wasn't amazing. The coconut scent was mild and not overpowering. I needed to shampoo twice to get a really good clean.
Tips: Shampoo twice for a really good clean
I have had serious trouble with anything containing coconut in the past, so I was quite worried that I would get an irritated scalp for this shampoo. But wow I was pleasantly surprised when it didn't happen - my head was happy!
As for my hair. I liked that it didn't leave my locks feeling stringy and 'squeaky clean' the way that some shampoos do (when you can almost feel your hair being stripped of its natural oils). It lathers up really well and I only need two pumps for my thick hair. My hair felt clean and fresh right away.
The scent is really odd. Not quite coconut... But definitely nutty? Its not a huge concern, but I was kind of looking forward to a wave of coconutty freshness.
Overall, this is just an average shampoo. It does it's job, but doesn't deliver dramatically different results in terms of locking in moisture. I probably won't repurchase.
I was super impressed with the ability to clean my hair as a sulfate free shampoo. I've always struggled to find sulfate free products that actually foam in the hair and remove grease. I was surprised by how clean this product left my hair. However, I was not particularly impressed by the scent of this shampoo. I've used other coconut scented shampoos which I've much preferred! I loved the pump top for easy usage.
Tips: I found if I did a double wash I had even cleaner hair which stayed fresher for longer.
The shampoo claims to reinvigorate, moisterize and refresh hair.
I’m not sure it did all that. It did provide all of the above but if you didn’t use the conditioner, my hair felt a little dry after use and I don’t usialky classify my hair as dry or oily. Though, after conditioner use, soft and silkiness was created..
I also accidentally knocked and dropped the bottle to the shower floor and, part of the neck broke but thankfully, even though there were some obvious damage, the pump was still useable so, that’s a redeeming feature (it wasn’t a long fall, less than a metre!)
Tips: Use together with conditioner as it creates minor dryness-feeling after use.
I'm quite fond of the packaging for this range, the clear packaging lets you easily see how much is left, and the pump means I can easily dispense product while in the shower without having to fiddle with lids.
For reference I currently have hair just past my shoulders right now, and with my usual shampoo I use about the size of a $2 coin. With this one I found that I needed 2 pumps, which is more than I expected. It's not that it doesn't clean, but just didn't feel like it spread out and foamed up enough to work with my hair. Once I managed to get enough and worked it through my hair, I was able to get a good clean and scrub of my scalp. After I rinsed it out, my hair didn't feel dry and there was minimal tangles. Since my hair is usually relatively smooth, I could actually skip the conditioner and just add some hair serum on the tips of my hair. This actually meant less oily and weighed down roots too.
The smell is boardering on coconut but just not quite, like those medicines that tried to be fruit flavour but just doesn't quite make it. I'm almost getting a hint of liquid paracetamol from this. Definitely not as nice as the fresh coconuty smell the body lotion had. Little disappointed since I love coconut scented things.
One of the main claims for this range is coconut oil and also no nasty chemicals, but after about 4 uses I haven't noticed any insane changes in my hair, perhaps it requires long term use to take effect? This didn't really stand out to me, and for the price/volume I can get two bottles of my usual shampoo for the price of this. So definitely wouldn't be repurchasing.
I love this! Nature Box shampoo is free from silicones, parabens and artifical colourants. The big pluses for me are the fact it is vegan and the bottle is made 25% recycled plastic. 25% might not sound like a lot but it is a win in my eyes as it is a step in the right direction.
I have recently started going to the gym and was on the hunt for a shampoo and conditioner that would make good of my sweaty mess. The bottle is a nice blue shade and in a good 385ml size. The bottle is perfect for my gym bag as the pump has an on/off function so there will be no mess.
I was worried this would have a really overpowering coconut scent BUT I found it to have subtle but pleasant coconut scent. The shampoo itself is clear and is of good consistency ie not too thin not too thick. It was easy to lather.
I have been using this for week and have had fantastic results. My hair looks and feels clean and also feels lighter. I have a glossy shine and have loads of compliments on the smell and look if my hair.
This is a lovely smelling coconut shampoo. Comes in a 385ml blue pump bottle. Free from sulfates, silicones and parabens. My pump seems to be a little stiff and you have to push quite hard to get the shampoo out. I found I needed a few pumps to get enough shampoo to lather my hair. Lathers up really well and the smell is lovely. I do find that although my hair is lovely and soft, it is quite fluffy and flyaway when dry. Probably wouldn't use this again.
Tips: Use with the conditioner as they compliment each other
