I bought this in a travel kit from Beauty Bliss for $32 (includes Tangle Teezer and shampoo) which was a great way for me to try all three products at a reasonable cost. I have thick wavy hair that has been treated with Keratin and even though the product is not the best conditioner I've used it's close to it.
I love the packaging because it's in the exact same shape as the shampoo but white which I appreciate because it makes it easier to differentiate which one is the conditioner and shampoo! Unlike the shampoo it has a lighter consistency that you can easily work into your hair without it melting away in your hand.
It doesn't lather up too much, just a decent layer of foam with a lovely scent of coconut water which isn't too overpowering. The foam disappears when I let the product sit in my hair for a few minutes. I like that when I wash it out my hair feels sleek and not straw-like which is usually an indicator for me to get rid of a haircare product.
What really won me over with the conditioner is that it leaves my hair soft, weightless and smelling of light coconut even by the third day! I don't believe I would purchase this conditioner on its own, it would always be in conjunction with the matching shampoo because I'm not 100% sure it would perform as well without it.
Last time I was in my local Life Pharmacy I happened upon a few of the travel sized OGX Shampoo's and Conditioners. I had wanted to try some OGX products for a while but I was majorly put off by the price, so being able to get the Shampoo and Conditioner for $8.99 each in a travel size was great. I do occasionally travel for work or to see family so I knew these would come in handy anyway.
The packaging is quite simple for these which I really like. The conditioner is in a opaque shiny white container (similar to MAC strobe cream actually). I'm not a big fan of it being opaque though as you don't know how much is left. It seems quite sturdy which is great for travelling. The bottle is easily squeezable too which I like. It does really look quite classy. Also the top is curved so when you are running out you can't put it upside down to get the last bit out which is a bit sucky for such an expensive product.
I really like the scent, it is like the shampoo a really light coconut scent with a wee bit of a tropical scent too. I leaves a wee bit of a scent in my hair afterwards but not so much that it is terribly noticeable. A little bit of it managed to spread through my hair really nicely. It advises to leave this in for a couple of minutes which I did and it still washed out really easily which impressed me. But what impressed me even further was how shiny and manageable my hair was afterwards. They are also right about the weightlessness. I am really impressed that my hair can feel this nice and not be weighed down at the same time.
I have never used any expensive shampoo's or conditioners before, but I am actually really impressed with these and will consider buying the big sizes (if they're on special).
