OGX Hair Treatment Macadamia Oil Dry Styling Oil Review

One of the more expensive products you can buy at the supermarket but definitely worth it. This smells amazing and helps makes your head so silky and smooth. I've tried a few different oils and threatments but this range worked wonders for me. I had dry frizzy hair, but after I strted using this my hair felt hydrated ,soft and Wasn't so oily.

This is a fantastic hair care range for a reasonable price. I have a really sensitive scalp and find it difficult to find products I can use with out spending a lot on them. I brought some Organics when I was in the US a couple of years ago and found it fantastic so tried, unsuccessfully to order more. However was looking through this site and spotted this review and immediately when out to search for it. Thank you I now have this lovely smelling, non-harsh product to use again:)

I had this a while back and i absolutely loved it! the packaging is a little awkward to use as you can never get the right amount but it makes your hair so silky smooth. although i did see no improvement with the end of my hair so i changed to another product.

my hair is out of control wavey and frizzy, this stuff worked wonders. controlled the frizz and made the wave nice. easy to use and smells great.

Brought this product when it 1st Came out, and I did like it and it smells great, a little goes a long way, it's not to oily, it's nice for damaged hair. Gave my mum it coz she wanted a nice smother oil and that's what it's good for. I don't think the price is right iv had cheaper products that have done the same effects.

WIth long wavy/curly and slightely wild hair I was really excited about the option of a semi natural product. This smells great, feels nice but does not have the weight in it I need. This is not to say it wouldn't work for others, made my hair nice and shiny though

I like this oil, however I do not love it. First, it has a lovely fragrance, it is quite fresh with a hint of sweet, absolutely beautiful. The packaging is quite simple and sleek, which I like. The bottle is quite small, but it does last for agesss! The actual oil itself, I found non-greasy; it helped a lot with controlling frizz, and smoothing out my hair. I would not say it was intensively moisturizing, like argan oil, so I would say it would be more for normal/ oily haired girls, not so much for curly girls like me. The oil quickly absorbs and adds a nice shine to the hair. However, I found that the smoothness and non-frizziness did not last very long; as soon as I walked out of my house, my hair began to frizz up again as humidy hit. I would not repurchase this product as it was not completely effective for my hair type.

I brought this on holiday after leaving my leave in product at home. I liked it for a start, kept my frizzy hair in check and I loved the scent, but it ended up irritating my scalp. I really loved the packaging and I wanted to like this, but I don't think I'll re purchase.

I've been using this product for a bit over a year now, and am in love with it. I mainly use it after washing my hair, when it's a bit poofy - it smooths it out without making it greasy. I also use it after straightening my hair, or just whenever it's looking a bit wispy. I find that it really absorbs into my hair.

I do have a few bug bears with this product though: It sells itself as an oil, but the ingredients go silicone, silicone, silicone, scent, before finally macadamia oil. This seems a bit dishonest to me, as does their brand name: it implies the product is organic, although they don't actually claim that it is. The inclusion of all the silicone is what makes your hair glossy and silky, but it can be hard to cleanse out of your hair, which is a downfall. The same amount of pure macadamia oil can be bought for around $15 online.

However, despite some deception in this product's branding, I really like it. It makes my hair look good, and a small bottle has lasted a long time.
