If like me you have oily roots but dry ends, you're always looking for a conditioner that will be nourishing enough to tame tangles but not weigh hair down or encourage more oil production. This conditioner is probably better for the latter than the former. I have fine hair which is prone to tangles, unfortunately this wasn't quite as effective for smoothing these out. However, I can imagine that there will be people out there that will find the level of moisture just right.

Tips: Use only on the ends of your hair to avoid excess oil production
I love the colour of the bottle and the fact that it has pumps on the bottle makes life simple and quick when using this product. The smell reminds me of a salon and not over powering. I used 2 pumps on my medium length coloured hair but think that I would need to use more to help with the fluffiness and knots.
I found this conditioner to be super lightweight, really in line with how I found the shampoo in this line to be. While that was something I loved about the shampoo, I didn't love the lightweight feel of this conditioner quite as much. I have super oily roots and ends that can be dry and damage-prone, and so I usually look for a conditioner that is really nourishing. While I really liked the scent and texture of this conditioner, it wasn't as nourishing as I usually look for, and my hair didn't feel as soft and hydrated at the ends as it does when I use a slightly heavier conditioner. Not a bad product, but maybe not hydrating and nourishing enough for my dry ends!
The conditioner comes packaging beautifully in a baby blue bottle with a pump. I really liked the pump as it's rare for supermarket products to include one and it makes using the conditioner so much more user-friendly in the shower. The conditioner is also 300mL which I thought was a generous size. The conditoner is white in colour and thick in consistency, a small amount goes quite a long way. The fragrance on this is interesting, it smells vaguely like the kind of fragrance they used in acne/face cleaning washes but also mixed with a more standard conditioner smell. The fragrance is similar to the shampoo in the range but it much more subtle in the conditioner so I could get past the scent, which wasn't my favourite. I found the conditioner did it's job just fine, I didn't find it made my hair feel amazing or that it did anything different to a standard supermarket conditoner but it didn't make the lengths of my hair feel dry or horrible, and my hair looked fine afterwards, so I have no negatives to say about it either. It washed out easily as well and was generally no hassle to use. I do have bleached/coloured hair though so I think I tend to prefer more nourishing conditioners than this, but this did a decent job and if anyone was looking for an affordable supermarket conditioner, they wouldn't go wrong in using this.
Disclaimer - this is a first impressions review. I received the products on Thursday, and started using them on Friday. This review was written Sunday. I'll be coming back to update this at some stage soon! :)
Hair situation: Mine is shoulder length, and half year-old dye, half my natural silver grey.
Both: the packaging is attractive - I love the shorter squatter bottle shape. The pumps are securely locked initially, and when released dispense a good amount of product easily. I like the colouring, it vibes clean, fresh and modern. I absolutely hate the pointless extra labels that pop up - removed them immediately, and was mad at them for existing. Neither the shampoo nor the conditioner have a discernable scent. My hair dried (with a drier) pretty quickly after using this range, and blow dried reasonably smooth. After using my straightener it needed serum but looked good.
This conditioner is thick and white, and I needed 2-3x more conditioner than I did shampoo per use. This is pretty usual for supermarket brands, in my experience. I usually double condition my hair, but on the first use of this range I chose to use just this conditioner and see what happened. It coats hair well when you have enough of it, and has a slightly slippery texture to it that helps it move through hair well but made me wonder if it was sitting on my hair or actually soaking in. It's a little harder to wash out than the shampoo, again due to the texture of the product, i think, but only a little and still rinsed out cleanly. My hair didn't feel QUITE as hydrated as with my usual products, but I'm giving it the benefit of the doubt.
After washing, drying and straightening my hair, it felt nice - clean and soft - but had definitely gone a tiny bit frizzy and dry looking, and needed a serum to calm down. This continued through the 2nd and 3rd washes, but didn't get any worse. I'll likely stick to using this every 2nd or third wash, with the more hydrating products in the middle. The non dyed part of my hair seems to like this a lot better than the dyed part, so it could well be that this isn't a hydrating enough range for the dyed parts of my hair.
Tips: use in conjunction with a mask conditioner if, like me, your hair is dry from dye.
Update: would keep using this a couple times a week but as I've given away the shampoo i've given the conditioner with it.
I don’t normally use Pantene as they are known for the sulphates which is a drying substance but I was surprised by what I got out of it.
The conditioner has the consistency of a creame and it has a very strong floral scent, lathers well in the hair and rinses very easy as well.
After I had used the conditioner for the first time (which coated my hair well), my hair felt nice. I used the conditioner a few more times just in case to see if there was any change and it dulled my colour and dried my hair out but not as bad as I expected to be honest.
I wouldn’t use again as I don’t want dry hair but I’ll put aside and will try again at another time.
Was accepted on this trial thanks to BR. The packaging matches the shampoo, same pale blue circular bottle with pump top. Easy to disperse product. Quite a compact size and fits in my small shower caddy. Lightly scented. Light cream consistency. I have been using about 3 pumps for all of my frizzy, thick long hair.
Even though there was a shorter trial period, I still saw some good results. Quite a moisturising formula, reminded me a bit of a hair mask. I think it's too soon to see any improvement to my hair being stronger but it is definitely softer. With a bit more use I think the results could be even better.
I do like this product but as yet i'm not completely sold on it. I plan to update this review in about a month's time after further use.
I loved the bottle as soon as I got it. Its smaller and the pump is really easy to use. I dont get the same feeling of really nice smooth hair after using this and actually have to brush knots out of my hair when I've used this. Once its dry I live it but having to get rid of knots isn't so good. It has a great smell and I would use it again.
The Pantene Pro V Blends Micellar Conditioner comes in a 300ml baby blue bottle. I love the pump - this gives you complete control of how much you are using. You are also easily able to unscrew the pump to get the last little bits out of the bottle. I have medium to long hair and found 2 squirts was just right for my hair. The conditioner is white and is of a thick consistency. I found this thicker than my normal conditioner and actually found this quite hard to spread across my hair to get even coverage. After using my hair only felt like it had been washed ie not the usual soft texture I get with my current conditioner I have used this for 3 days and when paired with the shampoo I have already noticed a massive difference in my hair. I am not sure if this is solely due to the shampoo or a mix of both. I loved the scent of this conditioner but I dont have the soft feel I would normally get after using a conditioner. I will keep persevering as the shampoo has worked wonders for my hair.
I love the idea of micellar products and I love the look of the bottles but the results just did not live up to my expectations. What is really great is that the conditioner is really nice and easy to apply and especially to rinse out. Some conditioners can take ages to rinse out and be really slimy but this one rinsed out really quickly and easily. The let down is the results though with my exoectation being that I would have really shiny smooth hair the following day and this just was not the case. It wasnt shiny or smooth and I found that my flyaway hairs were even worse. This just is not what I want from a shampoo and conditioner and compared with other products that are cheaper and give me better results, I would not recommend it based on this.
