I tried this Redken shampoo as I had heard it was a great brand - plus it was the one that my hairdressers at the time recommended for me. This product has a gorgeous smell, but thats about where it ends for me. It cleaned my hair OK but after I dried my hair, it felt a bit greasy. Also it irritated my scalp so wasnt very happy. I perservered until both bottles were empty (I had to use it up because of the price I paid!) but alas, no difference. Didnt work for me I'm afraid.

I got these products to use as a duo from the salon after having a haircut. The conditioner is fantastic and absolutely kept my hair soft and beautiful. The shampoo however gave me the most horrendous dandruff and I wasn't able to keep using it. I do have sensitive skin so I think the problem was more me than the shampoo. I did go on to use the conditioner with a different brand shampoo for a very long time.
Tips: This possibly may react if you have sensitive skin.
I have heard great things about this but to tell you the truth i didn't like this. Its lathered up well but like always i will do 2x shampoo but i found after using this a couple weeks it made my scalp super dry and super itchy ( i dont normally have a sensitive scalp so i stopped using this after that ) Found the conditioner ok but not the greatest . Smells good though.
Back when my hair was bleached (think a slightly lavender tinge to it) i used to use this conditioner. Ive never tried the shampoo but the hairdresser would give me a purple shampoo and and because she stocked redken products she would giveme the All Soft Conditioner. My hair was processed and dry and needed some deep conditioning. It worked well on my hair. I would use this following either the purple shampoo or a different Redken Shampoo. I would comb it through and leave in it my hair while I did my other shower bits and pieces and then wash it out lastly. It abosrbed well into my hair (My hair was screaming for some TLC). It was tangle free when I got out and it improved the condition of my hair making it more soft supple and manageable.
Tips: Leave in your hair while you shave and wash yourself rinse it out last :)
I have fine hair but a lot of it. All Soft didn't work too well for me because it made my hair too soft and it became full of static which meant it stood up in weird directions and clung to my clothing. It would work for people with normal to thick hair
Tips: be weary if you have fine hair
My hair tends to tangle easily and I had very dry ends when I started using it. Within a few washes it was noticeably softer and less tangled. Unfortunately it didn't really do anything more than you can achieve with cheaper supermarket brands
LOVED this product both when I had extensions and again when I had lightened blonde hair, makes it feel amazing!! Such a nice (Non-overpowering) scent.
Tips: Buy in the large containers - works out cheaper! Also use their conditioning treatment heavy cream - absolutely the best treatment out there!
So I have medium/coarse textured hair but a lot of it and it's curly, so anything that might soften it, maybe flatten it out a bit and stop/reduce my fly-aways aka the hemisphere of fuzz or the fuzz halo, is worth a try! This pair certainly delivers intensive moisture and has a pleasant scent that isn't too overpowering. I have sensitive skin too and this wasn't reactive to all soft. (Intensive thorough rinsing helps reduce irritation by getting all the product residue out) Fuzz was still present after a couple of weeks of use but has definately been reduced and the shine is starting to return!! Feels smoother and seems easier to blow wave smooth too. I Likey!
Tips: The treatment butter in the tub is worth adding to the family or for coarser textured hair, use instead of the conditioner. Hanging a hand towel on the shower door and rough drying between 2nd shampoo and applying conditioner/treatment means you use less product because its not as watered down.
This product is amazing for blonde highlighted hair and I have used it many times over the years. Redken is definitely one of my favourite brands for haircare products, you can't get much better than Redken or Kerastase in my opinion. I shudder to think how much money I've spent on my haircare products over the years.
I initially brought this after being recommended it from a hairdresser friend. My hair was quite damaged, battered from many years of full-head blonde highlights.
After using this, my hair was so much more moisturised and healthy. The shampoo and conditioner really helped to seal in moisture to the dry parts of my hair. The products made my hair less tangled and softer. This really made my hair silky soft and it really improved the condition of it. This was a lifesaver to my hair!
It really lives up to its name.. all soft! Absolutely LOVE these products and I will continue to repurchase.
Tips: Rather expensive, but these products are worth it in my opinion.
I have coloured my hair for as long as I can remember so my mid-lengths to roots are seriously, seriously dry.
My hairdresser recommended this to me and I'm so glad I took her advice.
I know, having coloured hair I should use a colour protecting-type product, but I care less about the colour since it stays pretty well anyway, and more about the actually state of my hair.
This lathers really, really well so you don't need much of the shampoo at all.
The conditioner, put through my mid-lengths to roots and left in for a few minutes before washing out is like a hair mask all in itself. The Argan Oil definitely makes a huge difference.
So if your hair is a little on the dry and brittle side like mine, I would strongly recommend this in addition to a really good mask.
Tips: Use a little of the shampoo - depending on how much hair you have and how thick. Mine is past my shoulders and quite thick so I use a dollop the size of a $2 coin (or thereabouts).
As for the conditioner, leave it in your hair for a good 5 minutes (or longer if you can) before rinsing it out. I have oily roots so tend not to put it any higher than my mid-lengths since my roots are the least damaged part of my hair.
