Essential for blow wave lovers!

This product is rad because its PINK! lol I kid!

This isn't like any other 'dry shampoo' out there.. This little pink beauty is especially for us ladies who love to indulge in a blow wave and I can vouch 100% that this has extended the life of my blow wave by DAYS!

With all the TLC that goes into a blow wave and all the luxurious oils and serums etc that they pop on to leave me looking gorgeous my hair can have a tendency to get oily at the roots pretty fast! A day after getting my blow wave I will pop a decent spray of this through my hair in the evening as per the instructions and brush through. This see's my blow wave essentially lasting 4-5 days looking fabulous, full of life and certainly NOT dirty, heavy or oily.

I have also used this after a couple of days of a blow wave and found that the results were also great, especially for removing the heavy, oily looking roots making my hair look brand new again!

10/10 very impressed!

Tips: This is also great for counteracting the accidental over-dosage of rather heavy or oily products blow wave or not.. This has saved my life on many occasions!

Bring back the old formula

I have always liked Redkens dry shampoo and even when I had dark hair it was one of the only ones that didn't leave owners residue in my hair. When they brought this formulation out however I was disappointed, it didn't seem to work as well, left my hair feeling flat and it didn't seem to have as much on the can as the old one did, but that could be down to feeling I had to use more to get results so it disappeared much faster. Smells quite pleasant and the packaging is better then the previous one. I won't be buying this again however, it was disappointing and not up to the task for me.

Sitting on the fence...

As a frequent dry shampoo user, I was excited to use this because it is a bit more "high end" compared to my usual VO5 stuff. However, I have found it to be nothing amazing.... Yes, it removes extra oils from my hair and gives great volume, but my hair doesn't feel clean and refreshed after. This is comparable to how the VO5 dry shampoo worked. But, this is still a good product, and would recommend trying it out, because it might just be me. A few good things however, is that it smells good, and it isn't overly powdery and doesn't leave whiteness in your hair.

Tips: Brush this out rather than using your hands, I find it gives a nicer finish:)

First Attempt at Dry Shampoo

So I was recommended this product by my hairdresser. And yes it is the brand they stock so it may have been a little bit biased on her end but she recommended it as something to trial and see how I got on because I had mentioned my hair being oily all the time. I have really oily hair and have to wash my hair at least every two days. I'm also chronically lazy with my hair so was interested in something I go use to get me through a day/night when I hadn't had the chance to wash my hair. I did like this product. I like the shinny pink canistor, even though pink is nor my favourite colour. I like that it's skinny enough that it will fit easily in my makeup bag when going away, and wouldn't take up too much room. I liked the smell of it and how it left my hair smelly fresh after use. I found it easy enough to use. Just shake the bottle and spray. My hairdresser recommended using away from my head rather than close up, and to use it on my roots and move my hair around so I got more surface area. And then all I had to do was brush it through my hair and style it. So very easy to use. I felt it made my hair look cleaner than it was, kinda looked like I had hairspray in it to be honest, and found I got on okay with no white powder as long as I sprayed it away from my head and brushed it through well. Did it do what it should? It says it's pillow proof and I have yet to walk up with it on my pillows and yes I got at least two more days out of my hair because of it. Did I find it lasted long? 3ish months and I have really thick and oily hair, which i didn't think was too bad. Was it expensive? I think i paid $35 for it so maybe a little more than I wanted to pay but works out to by $10 a month. Would I buy it again? I have. Not sure if it was out of loyalty to my hairdresser or because I was running low and I was at the hairdressers. But again after this? Maybe. I don't have a lot of experience with dry shampoo but it's definitely something I want to explore further. I would be inclined to explore other brands, I just think I bought it because it was easy and I didn't have to go hunting to buy it. Would I recommend it to a friend? Maybe. I think if they had experience with dry shampoo before I would love to know what they thought of it. And maybe to someone who hadn't tried dry shampoo to see if they got the same results as me. Also I have very light brown hair so if it was powdery I might not notice it as much as someone who had dark hair. Just a thought anyway. Would love to know how someone with dark hair got on with it.

Tips: Spray away from head and directly on roots. Part hair in all different directions and brush through sprayed areas to evenly spread. Brush through well.
