I brought this thinking I would get nice wavy hair. So I was very excited to try this.
The actual tool looks really stylish and looks easy to use.
However, it just wasn't the right type of wave I was looking for. I much prefer my other curling tools to this tool. So I was disappointed in this tool and will pass this onto someone that may get some use from it.
Tips: Stick with either your curlers or straighteners.
No matter how many times I tried this, my hair ended up frizzy and far from mermaid hair. I have brunette, shoulder length non coloured treated hair. I made sure I prepped my hair and it didn't matter the amount of tries where I changed the thickness of my hair, or the waves or the temperature, I couldn't get it to work.
Tips: Don't buy it.
At first I was super skeptical but a group of mums on Facebook convinced me to get this one over the Kmart one. I started watching YouTube videos and reading reviews. I wasn't really like the tightness of the locks but I saw it was on special for $69.99 at Briscoes during lockdown. It arrived pretty quickly (clearly deemed an essential item). I tried it that night and the results were amazing! Nothing like what I expected. I have naturally wavy frizzy hair but I can't always maintain the waviness and I end up looking liek a boof ball. Now with this tool, I can have wavy hair whenever I want. I love it and it is so easy to use. Took me about 10 minutes to get the look I wanted
